Flight 4547

Flight 4547, November 26, 2025 — Atlanta → Los Angeles

I fly a lot, but this was my first time choosing this airline — and it will definitely be the last.

Yesterday, on my second long flight of the day, I was seated by the window next to the emergency exit. I was extremely tired, and my phone battery had died. Because the aircraft didn’t even have a USB port, I politely asked a flight attendant if there was any way to charge my phone. I was refused — which I could understand — but what happened next was absolutely unacceptable.

When the steward heard my strong Russian accent, his attitude changed immediately. He told me that the emergency exit row was “reserved for native speakers” because he wasn’t sure I would understand instructions in case of an emergency. This is blatant discrimination. I objected, but he insisted and moved me to the back of the plane against my will.

As a result, I had no proper space and no assistance with my backpack, which I had to place at my feet because no one helped me return it to the overhead bin.

To make matters worse, the flight attendant who initiated all of this was not wearing a name badge. He is easy to recognize: a young man with curly shoulder-length hair and glasses. When I asked two female crew members for his name after landing, they claimed they “didn’t know,” even though they clearly worked on the same team.

Discrimination based on nationality or accent is illegal and unacceptable in the aviation industry. I will never fly with this airline again, and I will make sure to share my experience so other passengers are aware of how unprofessionally and disrespectfully some crew members behave.

Frontier Airlines awful customer service

If the site allowed, I would give them no stars!
I recently purchased an airline ticket through Priceline.com for my son. I purchased the ticket online. I live in NC and he lives in Fl. He was late arriving to the airport, 1 hour early instead of 2 to 3 hours early. Upon arriving the attendant at the airline counter informed my son that he was too late to check his bag. I paid $51 for a checked bag. The bag was too big for carryon, so he was told his only option was to "throw the luggage in the trash". I asked to speak to the attendant, she got on my son's phone and explained to me that because he did not check in online 24 hours earlier, she could not check him in without a $25 service fee and all the kiosks shut down 60 minutes prior to a flight. I paid the $25 to get him checked in and requested information regarding the security services, hoping to arrange for his luggage to be held until I could get it picked up and shipped to his destination. The attendant stated she could not do that, my son would have to go to a courtesy phone and inquire himself. Now, keep in mind, we are already racing with the clock to get him on the airplane. Long story short, he missed the flight, but he does still have his clothes and belongings that he was advised to "put it in the trash". I paid for the airline ticket, seating, check - in, and luggage and none of the services were used. I was told my only option was to get a credit for my son to fly with Frontier within one year. I literally laughed as I could not believe that after what we had been through, they thought I would EVER use their airline again! $263 down the drain!

Worst experience ever

I had a very disappointing experience with Frontier Airlines. My flight was delayed by 2 hours, and during the flight one passenger became seriously ill. The cabin was extremely cold, which made the whole trip uncomfortable — and was one of the reasons I later had to cancel another ticket. Instead of refunding me $300, they converted it into loyalty points without proper consent. But when I tried to book a flight with those points, I couldn’t even select a destination — it seems like my account was blocked. I contacted them via email, submitted a DOT complaint, and even had a long message exchange on Facebook — which went absolutely nowhere. They kept deflecting responsibility with generic replies. There were no clear signs for international departures at SFO either, which added to the stress. Overall, this was one of the most unprofessional airline experiences I’ve ever had.

Money grab and no convenience at Frontier airline

We were booked on flight F94169 from Philadelphia to Orlando departing at 10:59 on 6/25/2024. We checked in 24 hours earlier. We bought a checked in bag at the time of checkin and paid $74 for a bag that weighted 34 pounds. The same bad had cost us $44 on the Orlando-Philadelphia flight. When we printed boarding passes it was always printing half the boarding pass. There was no way to request boarding passes by email. At the airport there was no option to get boarding passes printed at the baggage tag kiosk. When we went to drop off bags they told us that it would cost $25 per pass to print them out. To add insult to injury the flight was delayed by 1 hour. Frontier has no shame that their website has problems printing passes and no option to get them by email while charging customers $25/pass and super expensive checked baggage. I for one will never fly with Frontier again.
