Our hot water heater burst this morning. Luckily we caught it early. Even though we had a soaked carpet and floor in our basement (don’t want to think how much worse it could have been). I tried to remove as much water as I can from the carpet but it was still wet and my basement doesn’t’ have good circulation. After reading online about the risk of mold, I decided to call a water damage restoration company. I found Flood Damage Pro online with good reviews and gave them a call. As a customer, I can see why the 5 starts! They came within 1.5 hours of my call. The team were very helpful. Inspect the entire area, explained and answered all my questions. After they started working they found a spot of black mold behind one of the baseboards. That was exactly what I was afraid of and the reason for calling them. Obviously it was no longer just a quick drying job, but a mold remediation job. Fortunately that was the only spot of mold found in their thorough inspection. The technician came the next day or the final cleanup/teardown. All were punctual, worked quickly and professionally, and were really pleasant, thoughtful people. Hopefully you’ll never have a water situation, but if you do and you’re reading this review, give them a call.
