We were looking forward to using FoodHub although I requested to get everything set up so I could access the back office myself before going live.
As our menu is quite complicated with a lot of customisation options for every meal, I wanted 2 months to make sure I could build our new menu and ensure the KDS system & Self Service Kiosk were set up perfectly so that the orders were coming through correctly. We are in the middle of renovating our kitchen to produce a larger quantity of food to satisfy delivery orders too, which is also going to take a couple of months.
I was hoping that I would be able to play around with our FoodHub menu, and make sure the system was perfected before going live, which would have tied in perfectly with the kitchen being finished.
I was told this wasn't possible and that I would need to switch over and go live as soon as possible. They informed me they would change the menu for me, but weren't very clear wether I'd be able to customise it myself.
They were adamant that I couldn't wait 2 months before switching our website over to them so I requested a full refund. They informed me that there would be a £99 set up fee, but they charged me £174. There is now a £100 "admin fee" for cancelling before going live, and it doesn't seem like I'm getting my set up fee back even though they haven't set anything up.
They say they don't charge a commission but their online transaction fees are nearly 4% through Datman, and every piece of equipment you buy from them up front, you still need to pay a weekly rental.
Not helpful in the slightest. Pushy salesmen that can barely understand English. I think I've dodged a bullet early on. Avoid at all costs.
THEY WILL TAKE YOUR MONEY AND NOT DELIVER ANYTHING BOTH FOODHUB AND TAKEAWAY HAVE DIFFERENT STORIES REGARDING ORDER. AVOID AT ALL COSTS USE JUST EAT OR UBER EATS
Any business about to join them better think carefully or I suggested negotiating with them on payment gateway company and chooses company that professional, reliable and take responsible when they needed to, I give you an answer No you can't because bra bra bra reason but in fact they are parents company, they are not different from scammer while the online payment problem still not solves rather than leave DATMAN and find a new payment gateway partner any company that have a strong security systems what they do is couple thousand business that been used their service I believed has hold everything until money has been paid off, Foodhub they do online marketing heavily on all platforms try to get new innocent customers while nothing has been fixed yet new customers have to take a risks with DATMAN anyone knows where to report to Gov departments pls just try to fwd to them early this year I was behind cash flow so kinda needed this $10k to pay rent etc they really dont care

After waiting for my order for almost an hour I got this message: "We are so sorry but the takeaway has rejected your order. If your payment was processed it will automatically be refunded. Due to the banking system, this can take up to 5 days but is often shorter." Essentially they charged me for the food, their fee, and did not deliver anything. I would give them -5 stars if I could. Stay away from these scammers
fake or scam site. zero support. my order was confirmed online but called restaurant after an hour and they never got order. emailed foodhub and got support ticket link to non-existent link.
They take payment before the restaurant confirms it. Then it takes 3-5 business days to refund it.. Shabby system, I shall not be using them again if this is how they operate.

Order big order and it was very late and food was salty and not fresh, complained to them and offering £5 voucher and not giving refund also telling to call restaurant for refund! awful platform.
Will never deal with foodhub again or any restaurant that use them.
They took money for a restaurant that was CLOSED ! Took 2 weeks to get the money back.
A £5 voucher was issued for an evening with no food and losing £45 for 2 weeks. Should have just ignored it. It didnt work and only subtracted £3 from an order. The new order was COLD FOOD.
Giving food hub a second chance was a big mistake.
Customer service couldn't even refund the £2 extra that was spent.
We will never use foodhub or any restaurant that uses them. Have compiled a list of places to avoid.

Why does it have to be sexually suggestive
It is not appropriate for younger viewers why does everything have to be based on sex. It is offensive to me and probably many people.
I want to raise a complaint regarding your MTV Ad during the daytime.
Your advert is totally disgusting and inappropriate for daytime TV. My youngest son is going around mimicking the voices, and for a 6 year old, sounds perverted and being called into the classroom to see the headteacher, totally embarrassed me.
Reference to sexual sizes and sexual explicit wording, is disgusting.
I really hope you change the Ad, even I was embarrassed, man sat in a bath, with a tape measure, in the bath referring to 10" or 12" knowing full well its Reference to his penis size and not pizza, disgusting.

Had to give one star because it won't let you give minus or no stars. This company is that shonky that it's very name triggers banks fraud and loss detection software notifying them of suspicious behaviour. I'd never heard of them let alone used them but it didn't stop them deducting 2x $250 from my card between Xmas and New Year. We didn't pick it the bank notified us as they are well aware of their illegal activities. Bank are happy to confirm well get our funds back and they will provide the details to AFP and the ACC. Avoid Foodhub like the plague, you've been more than warned, look at the reviews.

I used this service once, 27/10/23, not by choice. This order was cancelled directly, money refunded.
Tonight, I noticed $242.16 charged to my card by FOODHUB.
My Card details are never stored as suggested by FOODHUB, who requested proof.
Online chat not helpful.
No timeframe of when a resolution will be provided nor assuring me their website is actually secure.
9/2/24: Update: Banking Institutions Fraud team advised a second charge of $429.16 declined as card already cancelled.
FOODHUB finally provided details of order placed: name, email, mobile, order amount, order time and IP address that traced back to Tamworth NSW.
Time order was placed, this Store was closed. The validity of details is of concern.
FOODHUB suggested I speak with my bank for a refund.
I suggested they continue to investigate, and secure their services.
Placed an order and waited 15 minutes before I received an email saying the order was cancelled and I had to wait 5 business days for my refund. I then had no food and no money and FoodHub are not responding to any contact requests.
what the hell. ordered a meal for my elderly mother on her birthday. meal was never delivered, and I keep getting stupid excuses when asking for a refund. I spent $70 and all they can say is technical issues. WHERE IS MY REFUND. this is completely unacceptable. not only did she not have dinner, I have been out of pocket for 2 MONTHS.
Very disappointed with their service. I tried to give feedback regarding their service and a disappointing takeaway and they were unhelpful, not interested.
A new App promotion didn’t work, the food was poor and all they did was to tell me to get in touch with the takeaway……..my transaction was with FoodHub?
This company does not even deserve 1 star. This is by far the worst delivery service I have used in my life. Order placed at 8.30pm does not get delivered by 10.30pm even though the restaurant is 6 mins away. The service has no customer care and absolutely no way of being contacted. It needs to get reported to consumer rights so no one else gets fooled by their false commitments to deliver food.
