SHOCKINGLY BAD CS! If I can give one piece of advice AVOID AT all. Costs! I purchased a 12amp ff lithium battery £344 Within 2 months it failed we were told NEVER had an issue with this battery before! ( he told us to send it back but could not find a courier that would ship due to it being lithium, the only one we found was £190 each way! (WE LATER FOUND OUT BY HIS OWN ADMISION HE WAS SENDING THEM VIA ROYAL MAIL BUT NOT DISCLOSING THE CONTENTS VERY VERY DANGEROUS & Very ILLEGAL)) So we HAD to drive 85+ miles to return he said. Never had TOO many back...First of many lies & BS Hmmmm. We were told be sent away the FOLLOWING Monday after 2 Weeks of hearing nothing, ( even though he said He would have it back to me within a week) I called to be told he had NOT sent it back but undertook the repair himself ....2nd Big lie!!! I Was told just a broken wire he had replaced and his "useless" supplier failed to send the heat shrink tape that covers the said wires so was awaiting on them sending.( apparently the suppliers are so bad at responding it could be a week!) LIE *X2*!!!! After another full week of hearing nothing, when we called he stated he was repairing the wire.(not bad considering he told me he fixed it already) So we told him we Were coming back. Yet another 85+mile (each way) journey to pick it up on Saturday low and behold we told him we would be THERE exactly at 12.30pm he was no where to be seen...very convenient..so left to deal with wife, (who claims to have no idea about anything!) but funny within 5 minutes of us leaving he was back in the shop…(we stood back and watched to see him reappear) Hmmmm feel like every time I spoke he had something different to say which was different to the last story .. Like I say so many lies if he were Pinocchio he could make a whole dining suite from the wood from his ever growing 👃 IMHO
I'm supposed to be using this battery to fly 6 thousand + miles away I feel unsafe to do so! Our £344 battery has in fact cost us nearly £444 with fuel costs. PLease be warned comes across charming. But god forbid you have an after sales issue you will be hard pushed to get a response or assistance from #foxmobility? Go somewhere else say @derbyshiremobility their after sales is excellent called me several times to make sure all was brilliant. How its supposed to be! ***Update we opened up the not sealed heat wrapped wire as I was still having major issues after "he fixed it" shocking!!! The wire came away without a tug Originally he told us he awaited the kit to REPLACE the whole wires from his 'suppliers' And his last lie was he was awaiting the guy to solder the wiring! Well as you can see no soldering has been done whatsoever! He apparently used a pink heat shrink connector which he hasn't either had the wire in correctly or not crimped it correctly and thus not shrank ( heated it to seal it) ?Why did he not just replace the whole wire section like he told me he had and he certainly never had a solder iron near the job whatsoever! More LIES! He was well aware as a solo traveller I planned to travel OS with my scooter & this battery how would I have coped if the wire had failed? Obv he didn't care one iota?. It has now been repaired fully by the parent company who from start to finish emailed prompt replies & undertook their promises fully with care & diligence unlike how he portrayed them
Again very "nice whilst taking your money But Dr Jeckels turns to Mr Hyde when you need after sales service.. Again walk away go else where
