Freightos can't be replaced as a valuable shipping resource. They can't stop all shipping company errors... but they do an awesome job hooking us up with freight forwarders. Absolutely excellent.

AVOID at all costs!
AVOID at all costs!! I went with freightos after they were recommended through my Amazing Selling Machine course to get the best deal for shipping and it wasn’t what I expected at all. They kept charging me tons of fees for inspection, freight delays, driver fees and customs hold. These people could care less if you lose money. I would recommend to go directly through a freight forwarder and skip the broker. Every email I would receive from them would be a charge and now I will be taking a loss on my shipment because of their ridiculous fees and delays.

Thank you for bringing your concerns to us. Freightos is a marketplace for international freight - we give shippers access to a range of real-time rates to choose from, saving time and cost. Any shipment can face additional fees depending on when they're booked and what is being shipped, for example customs exams or general rate increases (GRIs). While frustrating, these do not originate from Freightos and are valid and often unavoidable.

AVOID if you are a actual company.
I used this company to ship equipment to a trade show. After the freight currier lost my equipment and failed to make it to the show. Freightos customer service team could have cared less. I ended up having to dispute all of the charges directly with the carrier and demand Freightos also refund me their costs as they actually atttempted to keep their fee after the shipment was lost... Horrible company stay away. just use their platform to get a quote and contact the forwarder directly. Save you the additional cost freightos adds to the shipment and deal directly with the forwarder.

With the market the way it is, unexpected delays occur which is why transit time is not guaranteed - however your shipment was insured against loss if there is a claim. Our team has been in contact and, as far as I understand, there has been a resolution with the forwarder. Wishing you smoother shipping!

Freightos consolidated everything we needed for us to have a smooth import to the USA from China. We were able to track every aspect of our shipment including documents, customs process, pickup, LCL ocean transit, delivery, etc. We will definitely be using the platform again!

Minimum hassle shipping
Minimum hassle shipping. US customs can be a challenge, but Freightos has partnered with Clearit who were also very helpful.
In general, was a great experience for my first time shipping commercial products.
