Galapagos Travel was very responsive to my queries and helped me find the right tour for me.

The itinerary was thoughtfully designed and the guides were excellent!! The only issue was the Hilton Hotel…..we didn’t have any hot water when we arrived and was located in an area where were no restaurants within walking distance.

We had the most exceptional experience with the Galapagos centre from start to finish. We were so well taken care of at the moment we booked with Fatima Ortiz and went with the travel centre. All the fees and the itinerary was transparent and detailed. Although Sometimes hard to fully understand what to expect with the boat tours as it is contracted out such as when to wear swimming gear. That was no huge deal, All in all it was still very well thought out. In fact we were directly connected to a travel agent once we landed. She connected with us on wassap so we can communicate any issues.
There was just a small hiccup with our lunch. We were asked to eat a late lunch one day (we got two complimentary lunches) and to make up for it Mariantoreuda fixed it and gave us a complimentary warm breakfast before we left the islands. Now that's customer service!
We felt super safe and well taken care of. The hotels were 5 star service and rooms were super clean and comfortable especially at the Ikala hotel! Great food there too!

Incredible experience! We did the combination Galapagos Islands catamaran tour (5 days/4 nights) and Machu Picchu with the "luxury" option. Great hotels, food and guides all along the way.

At each airport we were greeted with a driver and told when our next guide would meet us. The 13 day experience was a full schedule with just enough down-time to relax or nap. We both thought the scheduling, accomodations and food were excellent.

We didn't quite know what to expect. We booked solely based on the reviews we saw on TrustPilot and TripAdvisor. Great experience and highly recommended

The trip was an awesome experience for our whole family. We were a group of 16 adults and children who came together from 4 different arrival and departure schedules. Planning and working with Elizabeth for over a year via emails was handled extremely well.
CloudStrike effected 6 in our group seriously and we were close to having to cancel their places on the trip The staff was able to adjust to the multiple changes in travel plans over the two days of confusion and everyone ended up boarding the ship in Baltra.
The ship and it's crew were excellent and we can't say enough about the tours, staff, food and comfort of the vessel. There was plenty of room for the children and adults to gather, use the hot tub and pool and make new friends. Finding a ship that offered space for children to be active was important in looking for the right way to experience the Galapagos. Our group ranged in age from 10 to 79 and everyone loved every minute.
The Park Tour Guides were equally awesome and getting to know them was a great part of our time together. Each offer their own unique style to everyday of the tour.

Great itineraries, access to all boats sailing the Galapagos, service voucher was all correct, information on the website was informative and up to date. Tour representatives were on time at the airports.

I was extremely pleased with the quality of service and attention I received from Andres at Galapagos Travel. My tour was perfect, and I thank Andres for his quick response to a request I had after I got back home.

This was a wonderful company to work with, and we had the most amazing live aboard yacht tour ever!

The customer service at Galapagos Travel Center is fantastic. My travel representative, Sebastian, was responsive and made booking the trip, then modifying the trip as easy as possible. Unfortunately, our flight from Quito to Guayaquil was cancelled about an hour before we were supposed to board, and minutes later I discovered that the yacht we booked was not ready to sail! I was in a bit of a panic, but Sebastian supported me through this very stressful day with helpful information and numerous check-ins.

Thankfully the original yacht company chartered another yacht for our tour so we wound up with a different boat and crew but the same naturalist guide and itinerary.

Our new crew and yacht were wonderful! The crew were always very pleasant and very professional. Our rooms were tidied twice a day, and the boat was always clean. My vegetarian and my daughter's gluten free dietary needs were deliciously met at every meal. Our panga drivers were incredible and lingered at the special spots so that everyone could get the perfect photo.

Our fabulous naturalist guide, Victor, along with the ambitious itinerary, provided us with a once-in-a-lifetime experience! Each day we had four different excursions including hiking, panga tours, snorkeling and kayaking. Our guide was quick to make adjustments so that we could see the greatest variety and numbers of birds, mammals (including whales!), reptiles and fish (including hammerhead sharks!) all while learning about the natural history of the amazing Galapagos archipelago.

Galapagos Travel Center made our planning so easy. We told them what we wanted to do and gave us many options. Even when we had to change our plans they were very helpful. We went to Ecuador and the Galapagos! At the Mindo cloud forest we stayed at Las Terra as de Dana Boutique, it was wonderful, great people, food and atmosphere.
We cruised with on the Alya Yacht, it’s a beautiful catamaran. Again everything exceeded our expectations, just wish we were in Galapagos longer!

Travelling in the Galapagos through this service was the best possible decision we (my family) could have made. Galapagos Travel Center offered us a locally guided, breathtaking experience of the islands in an exclusive and private cruise. The entire vacation was fully immersed in the wild and isolated areas of the archipelago, allowing us to view the awesome natural world in its unparalleled beauty. Waking up every morning on our cruise of 20-something passengers, the beautiful ocean stared back at us from the cabin’s balcony. Sea turtles, rays, iguanas, giant tortoises, pelicans, blue (and red) footed boobies, and more were daily visitors on our day-to-day journeys. All in all, Galapagos Travel Center offered us a once in a lifetime experience that blew us out of the water (no pun intended)!

This was an awesome yacht cruise in Galapagos. The food was delicious, the staff was there anticipating our needs. Guide Victor has vast experience and he was very patient with the children who asked him questions. We went to all the major islands and saw all the animals there were to see except two which were not at our islands. The activities were fun and plenty of them! We mostly went on two small boats (I forget now what they are called). The yacht was beautiful and the group of 14 became a family. At the end we got each other’s info so we could share more pics & videos. From the planning to returning home, there is nothing that I can think of upon which they could improve. They managed dietary needs without any problem.

The planning, communication and coordination with Ms. Gabriela Aguilar prior to the actual trip was key! Once on-board the ALYA, the experience was second to none. The captain, crew, and guide (Fernanda) were top notch on during the cruise amongst the Galápagos Islands and the very scenery and wildlife it has to offer.

We had a great time. Diana was very responsive. Be sure to take an underwater camera.

We did the “Forgotten Path and Beyond” land based trip with Galapagos Travel Center (GTC) in 6/2024.
This trip was a very well planned, fantastic, active, amazing trip which showcased all the magical and unique wildlife and beauty of Galapagos.
Each day was filled with excitement and wonder: hiking, boating, snorkeling, sea lions, marine iguanas, sharks, sea turtles, giant tortoises, many different bird species (including blue footed boobies, pelicans, Darwin finches, Frigates, etc), beaches and breathtaking scenic vistas.
Gabriela Aguilar (trip advisor at GTC) made sure that our trip was perfectly organized, down to the last detail. She was very helpful and responsive to several emails we sent ahead of time with trip questions.
Once in Galapagos, Maria Rueda (operations manager) was in close contact with us to assure everything went smoothly every day (pick up times, guides, drivers, boats, sending wetsuits to our hotel, meals, changing meal reservations, etc). She answered all texts promptly, even after hours! When we decided to fly back from Isabela island to Baltra instead of taking super bumpy, seasick-inducing, 2 hr long public speedboat, Maria made multiple calls on our behalf to airline and practically moved heaven and earth to make the flights possible and affordable. We can’t thank her enough!!
We had truly amazing guides, all chosen by Galapagos travel center:
A) Maritza for 2 days on Santa Cruz Island was amazing! Nice, friendly, enthusiastic, helpful, extremely knowledgeable and boy could she spot birds from a distance. So easy to get along with and she knows her Galápagos Islands very, very well!
B) Nelly for 2 days on Isabela Island was such a kind, experienced, wonderful guide! Super knowledgeable about all the flora, wildlife and history of Galápagos Islands. She also took us for a fantastic lunch at a local farm instead of the box lunch after our long volcano hike.
C) Diego on Bartolome Island boat tour day trip was great! He was very experienced, friendly, knowledgeable and he helped swimmers who needed extra assistance snorkeling.
D) Tito Franco took us snorkeling and walking at Las Tintoreras on Isabela Island. He was very friendly and encouraging, and he skillfully helped us snorkel with dozens of sharks! He also personally took one of us around who needed extra snorkeling help.
The hotels were wonderful!:
A) Ikala hotel on Santa Cruz was lovely and had gorgeous view of the sea from rooftop restaurant which had fantastic food and wonderful service (see my separate review of this hotel).
B) Isamar Hotel on Isabella island was great, right on the beach and had friendly, super helpful staff (see my separate review of this hotel).
Lastly, the restaurants we went to for lunch every day (and 1 dinner) were top notch and excellent (all chosen by GTC). These and delicious breakfasts (at hotels) were included in tour price.
We had such an incredible, fun, exciting trip thanks to the folks at GTC who went out their way to help us and make our trip a once in a lifetime adventure! We highly recommend this travel center and going to the magical Galapagos islands.
