Anyone can make mistakes, but the staff is there to help. I do not recommend it.Never again Velvet Parking .This completely rubbish 🗑😡😡

We returned after our trip away and landed very late at night, which was booked in with the valet parking.
On arriving we found a long queue outside of the valet office as not one persons car had been returned on their arrival. The excuse was because of the cold weather the cars were all frozen and there wasn’t enough staff to defrost them in time. Bear in mind that it had been the same temperature days before, so you would’ve thought that there was a plan in place to avoid this. No there wasn’t!!!
At 1.30am and minus 3 degrees outside with a very tired and cold 5 year old I was told I had to wait hours and there wasn’t enough staff nothing else that could be done.
Rude and unhelpful staff that didn’t care a monkeys and even still went on their breaks instead of working and trying to ease the back log and being helpful to customers.
Worst experience ever, never using this service again and I hope no one else who reads this will!

We waited 1 hour and 15 mins for our car. We had young children with us. There was nowhere to sit while we waited as the chairs were occupied by other people also waiting for their car. The staff were not able to give any information about where the car was or how long it would take.
DO NOT TRUST - They'll use your car whilst you are away!
On two occasions they have used my car whilst I was away, driving it for over 100 miles both times.
The first time they called me a liar, as I couldn't prove it. The second time, I had taken the precaution of photographing my dashboard to show the mileage.

Collected my car from Gatwick South…
Collected my car from Gatwick South Valet Parking today to find that all of the change I had in a pot had been stolen. Was only around £12 but that’s not the point!
They had left the pot wide open so weren’t even trying to hide the fact that they’d stolen it!
Wouldn’t recommend this service to anybody.
Misleading Description and Unacceptable Use of My Vehicle
The company claims your car is stored in a secure car park away from the airport. In my case this is untrue. My vehicle has a built-in dash cam, and the footage clearly shows the owner using my car for personal errands—shopping, going home, and later driving it to the Premier Inn London Gatwick Airport (A23 Airport Way), where it was left for six hours. It was then moved to the Travelodge Gatwick Airport Central and remained parked there for the entire 10 days of our trip.
This isn’t the first time I’ve had issues. On previous occasions, the dash cam was mysteriously disconnected, with the excuse that it had “fallen off the windscreen.” Now I know why.
If you value transparency and the security of your vehicle, I strongly advise looking elsewhere.
Gatwick valet parking damage your car
We used the Gatwick valet service only to find our new car had been scratched down the left side. I reported this to the on site staff who verbally agreed the damage was present. There is a process by which they check entry pics to see if the damage was present when the car drives in. They are claiming it was present. It clearly is not the case. I have repeatedly asked for the hi res images to demonstrate this but they have not done so ( it is now 2nd September, a month later). Beware! Gatwick are not following their own policy and, as the one star Trust Pilot status shows, are not worth the risk. Get a cab instead. The cost is the same and your car is safe. How Gatwick can associate themselves with this cowboy behaviour is beyond me.

We arrived 1.50 mins early for collection slot, when the car was dropped, your colleague told us will be ready 2 hours prior. Once arrived said it will be another 45mins until I get my car back. You need to state on website that you are covered for 12 your delay or we wouldn't have pushed the time back slightly just in case of delay. You need to retrain your staff so they know what they are talking about at drop off. I found one of your colleagues extremely rude and argumentative when I tried to explain the situation. Basically told me to sit down and shut up for 45 mins. After using valet service for 5 consecutive years I will not be doing so in future and actively telling people not to do so also.

Sorry to read that so many others have had a negative experience with this service - I've used them many times and found the staff polite and courteous, the mileage only marginally more than when I handed over the vehicle and as clean inside as when I left it. Collection was straightforward and clear instructions given as to the location. Only minus points are that the car has been quite dirty on a couple of occasions. I'm usually away for a couple of weeks so I expect an accumulation of dust and dirty rain. I believe that Valet cars are moved to the Long Term car park for the duration of the booking, but might be wrong.

DO NOT USE! On our return they had damaged our car to such an extent that it was undrivable! They of course deny liability, but how does a perfectly working clutch fail whilst the car is parked for two weeks? Use long stay, park the car yourself, and take the bus - don’t give these shady characters access to your vehicle.

My car was damaged during the week it was in the care of this company. They took photos of my car on entry but did not do the same when it was brought back. They have not provided CCTV or ANPR data which I requested to prove the damage occurred whilst with the. Do not use this service if you value your car.

Arrived everything fine, but on return my wife and I waited for an hour before our car arrived. We are both in our 70s and got very cold after coming from 30 degrees to 16. This was the first time we used this service but we will not be using it again for the above reason.
Drop off is great
Drop off is great, but collection is a shambles. You provide a flight number, but the tracker shows the car still hasn’t moved 60 minutes after landing and we’re left to wait.
The staff seem resigned to it being chaos and just shrug when you complain.

Unwilling to amend booking with 19 hours notice
Called into the Valet parking customer service centre this morning as realised I had incorrectly booked parking at the South Terminal. As I had called in ONLY 19 hours before my arrival, was told I am unable to change my booking and would have to park and then get the monorail between terminals. Ive used them many times but this will be the last
North Terminal Valet Parking staff attitude
When I got to the car park entry was confusing, the signs were too low down to see to turn in to the bay so after the waving of your car park attendant I then cut through to get to park. I also had with me a disabled passenger that was paralysed.
Your staff attitude was disgusting. I was asked if I was blind and I told your staff member to drop his attitude with me and he decided to not only walk off but also to get his manager. He would also not let me take a picture of his credentials and kept jumping away.
The manager said that he was the big boss and no one else I can complain too. He also would not let me take his details and did the same thing. The manager sided with his staff member and it just seemed I was in a culture argument. Both extremely aggressive and rude, not sure I paid for that type of service. Never ever had an issue with South always north your staff seem to be on an ego trip. You have signs about not abusing your staff members but that doesn’t give them the right to abuse your customers.

When I picked up my car the left wing mirror was missing! Literaly it was stolen from their parking facility. The manager told me probably the mirror left off the car!! Has anyone heard of a mirror falling off the car out of the blue? Maybe in another planet where gravity takes everything apart..maybe in the center of the galaxy...The guy was playing with my patience. I had to drive 2 hours into the night after an 8 hr journey, without my left mirror. No safety in their parking, they didn't even mention that they will look at the cameras to see what's happened. They just told me they will replace it at a nearby garage..you will receive a call. No surprises from the guy in shift.. like this is happening all the time...One more great customer service ..as always ..health and safety above all in UK.. Congratulations guys...keep up the good work!
