My Snooper gave up on me

My Snooper gave up on me. Phoned the tech people (Alex M). Lovely Man. Very helpful. Couldn’t fix the problem as SIM card was corrupt but he made sure that a replacement would arrive while in France. I wish everyone was so customer friendly 10/10 for you Alex

Snooper were bought by Road Angel Group

Had S8000 for almost 10 years. Brilliant device. Brilliant company.
This is not the same company. Snooper were bought out by the road angel group a few years ago.
So " Snooper " stopped supporting these old devices so I bought the s6900. Problems from day1 . Device was slow to update the route which meant in busy areas it'd get confused, reroute and then just totally confuse me. Not ideal when youre driving a 40ft lorry around London. Plus it refused to go through the wallasey tunnel even though my height was set right, along with all other parameters. So I returned the unit. Apparently it was " reset " and then returned to me. Still with the same issues.
The call centre is based in Asia somewhere. The staff have been all trained to speak slowly, quietly and politely.... and to never put you through to a manager. They will politely refuse to refund your money but will " absolutely sort this issue out for you sir" ( I swear they have a cloning machine of the same guy somewhere). They will also lie to you, saying they don't have the ability to transfer you to the UK office , or a manager. Both I know to be true because I have been . They will tell you a manager will call you back which they won't.
In the end I refused to get off the line until I was put through to a manager. Eventually this guy came on and was instantly stand- offish and arrogant. Non apologetic also. Reluctantly he agreed to upgrading my device. I said that would be great, but I was very dissatisfied with how Snooper seems to now be conducting their business saying " I know the history of Snooper..." at which point he rudely said " no you dont"
In a very arrogant manner.
I told him I was recording this message. He then said " that's illegal ( it isn't. Look it up. Its not illegal to record a conversation if its for your own use and neither are you obliged to inform the 3rd party) and hung up on me.
Emails were exchanged. I wrote a Trustpilot review on SNOOPER SERVICES. I received and email then saying they would only upgrade me if I changed my review and delete the recording. ( if they deny this I'll post a copy) . When I didn't agree to this as it was unethical for a company to bribe their customers and wouldn't be a truthful account, they then reneged on their offer as I wouldn't agree .
Absolutely disgusting , unprofessional behaviour.
This will all be reported to Trading Standards

Snooper Registration

A quick phone call and I managed to register 2 devices with ease. The call was immediately followed up by a confirmation email. If only all companies were this easy to deal with!

S6900 had a open tmc error.

My snooper 6900 had a open tmc error.Bhairav Mane was very helpful and sent me a email with guidance to resolve the issue.it has cleared the issue and sat nav is up and running again.

Had a problem with my SD card on my…

Had a problem with my SD card on my snooper s5100.

The service and support I have had from team member Manoj has been top class.

A replacement SD card has arrived as promised.
I will number installing it in the next day or so.

Snooper s6900

Great sat nav that does the job for the hgv driver
Never gone wrong with snooper sat nav
The service you get from customer service / tech support is also excellent having delt with Bhairav Mane knows his stuff helpful and friendly

Excellent service from Bhairav Mane

Excellent service from Bhairav Mane. Our replacement sim card arrived the very next day, and is working well.
We had trouble registering our Snooper, but then discovered that Bhairav had registered it for us!
Very good 5star service.
