I purchased the LEED GA V5 Platinum study package and have mixed feelings about it. The study guides and flashcards are very helpful, and the study guide goes into pretty good detail and gives the necessary information to understand topics. The areas that I run into with this package are the video lectures and the practice tests. For the videos, I have several issues. The first is that the narrator moves too quickly in the videos, which makes it hard to pick up any information adequately. Between reading the slides and listening to the narrator, it is a lot of information to try to understand just watching the video without pausing. I found myself pausing the video and reading the transcript rather than watching the actual video because I could not pick up on the information being explained just watching. In my opinion, this defeats the purpose of the video entirely,y as I am doing more reading than listening and taking notes to a lecture. In addition, what is written on the slides barely follows what is actually being said, and abbreviates points too much to the point that you don't get any information from the actual slides. This also forced me to read the transcript rather than watch the video. Also, it is clear that the narrator is reading from a script, and there are several instances where they trip up, or there are interruptions from outside sources, which just makes the whole thing feel unprofessional. For the practice tests, there are also several gripes I have. For one, the questions seem overly simplified to what will actually be on the exam. A good majority of the time, the right answer ends up being the longest, and it is too easy to fall into the trap of just memorizing the answer orders or just selecting the longest response. Because of this, I ended up purchasing practice exams from USGBC because I did not feel confident in just using the Platinum package exams. Overall, if you plan on purchasing one of the LEED GA study packages, I suggest you purchase USGBC's core concept guide as well as their practice exams to ensure you are prepared for the exam.

I purchased LEED Practice Tests with a stated 12-month access period, but access was removed before that period ended due to the transition from LEED v4 to v5.

Customer Support offered a 50% discount on updated materials but did not provide a solution that honored the remaining value of my original purchase. No meaningful resolution was offered.

Disappointing experience. I purchased the LEED AP BD+C course based on a clear commitment from support that the course would be updated from v4 to v5 at no additional cost. Later, that commitment was not honored, and only a 50% discount was offered. I was also disappointed by comments implying account sharing without any prior warning. Customer trust and honoring commitments are important, and unfortunately my experience fell short of expectations.

I bought subscription to prepare for LEED GA exam. I found GBES very poor platform for that purpose. Firstly, the information in the course is not coherent. The provide you with PDF, which seems organized, but kind of consists of patch work pieces of information. Headings and subheadings dont really exist. There is such a variety of fints and sizes of them in the Word, but for some reason PDF looks all the same. Most importantly, they do not give you references what you actually must read and what official sources are, name of books from USGBC... Why not? This is what you are supposed to start with when prepare people for the exam.
Secondly, recorded for the platform videos are the worst videos you can find in the whole internet for all times... It either has a bad quality of sound, some recorded lectures, or it is made by the machine. Videos repeat PDF, but not fully. It is hard to stay concentrated and keep track, hard to get what they say. Videos are completely useless, no effort put into them.
Lastly, platform has lots of technical errors. Sometimes sentence doesn’t fit into the field, so you cannot see the whole question. Number of questions is missing or showing 15/10 etc. it’s not dramatic but makes the whole impression pretty sloppy.
The good part of the course is flash cards and sample tests. These are good.
I was not always passing the tests after reading provided materials, therefore I had to use additional USGBC official materials, which I recommend everyone to use.

Consistently provides contradictory information. One answer will be correct on one practice test and the same answer for the same question will be wrong for another. The reading material is unclear and does not provide definitions for the terms provided at the end of each section. The user interface is terrible. There are too many things wrong with it to list in a post.

I've been using GBES services for years and found their study materials to be extremely helpful in preparing for green building test exams. In order to pass LEED exams its important to take and pass lots of practice exams, and I believe GBES' practice exams were the key to me obtaining my LEED credential!

The practice tests and videos were very helpful for me to pass my LEED BD+C exam! GBES is great!

Simply put, GBES has the best study materials for LEED, WELL, and other credentials that the market has to offer. Their Learning Management System has robust capabilities to customize and design study plans that work each individual. Additionally, their practice tests perfectly mimic the real exams and are the closest thing to taking the actual exam you can find. The customer service is top notch and the entire GBES team is great to work with. Would highly recommend GBES for all green and healthy building education needs!

I love that the practice exam made me feel well prepared for the actual exam! I also really like being able to identify which areas I need more understanding in and am able to take practice test for those knowledge domains specifically!

GBES is a must for study material to help you earn your LEED and other credentials! I am a LEED AP BD+C, ID+C, O+M, ND, HOMES, LEED Green Rater, SITES AP, and WELL AP and I could not have passed my exams without the well organized and in-depth study material!

I used the study materials (videos, flash cards, and practice tests) from GBES to prepare for my LEED Green Associate exam. It helped me so much to tackle this daunting exam! I did so well by using their materials that I have recently utilized their materials to pass the LEED ID+C and BD+C exams! I used GBES.com to study for my LEED exam and my WELL AP. I'm not sure how I would have passed without them! The flashcards especially and the key terms to memorize helped me to focus myself and not waste time trying to figure out what was really important. And the practice tests were super helpful to be sure I could go back and study up my weak spots! I passed both exams on the first try. Thanks GBES!

GBES is the sole reason I passed my LEED GA.

Utilized the GBES online LEED GA Practice Tests and Flashcards. I will admit, taking the tests is helpful, but lacks the expected answer summaries and feedback that should accompany a product costing in the $XXX range. For example, on some questions that were correct, but I guessed, the summary was "Great Job." So how does that help me better understand the solution? When I complete the practice tests and go back to review, there is no way to review the explanations, only the choices as right or wrong. Also, the site is often glitchy and crashes. I've experienced this on multiple devices and networks. There are grammatical errors in the questions as well, reducing the credibility of the tests. Ultimately, I feel the value of what I purchased should be in the $25-40 range, not $110.

GBES helped me pass my LEED AP BD+C exam using practice exams. I have also done continuing education with them, and it was easy. Very professional.

Very unprofessional. There are a lot of background noises in the videos. Dog barking, someone cooking and random activities, which effects the voice recordings that you missed the words. Very distracting!
