unfortunately I had a bad experience…
unfortunately I had a bad experience with GBES. The material that I studied with was not always up to date, and sometimes there were inconsistencies in the study material that was provided. When I contacted GBES for help I was directed to the manual. Also, after passing the exam, I have a feeling that the study material does not reflect the questions in the exam. GBES emphasizes numbers and calculations while the exam is more about definitions.

Passed using GBES materials to study!
I used the GBES materials exclusively to study for the LEED Green Associate exam & not only did I pass, but I felt more prepared during the exam than I originally thought I'd be. I will use GBES again in the future when studying for the LEED AP & would recommend any of the available materials to anyone interested in testing.
