I had alook at tracking devices for my wife.On receiving it I realised it wasnt what I wanted.I applied for details about returning and instead getting the information I wasbombarded with stuff .
They tried thrir best to convince me to hold on to it
By the way the instruction about how to set it up were printed so small I had to get someone toread them for me and he couldn'tunderstand them

I made the mistake of ordering a robo cleaner from this company after reading their 5 star reviews. I quickly realised this was a big mistake when i read about the company on Trustpiolot. I asked to cancel my order but the sent the item regardless. It was a plastic toy not fit for purpose. I advise everyone to make a claim through paypal giving all the details and as much info as posdible. Im happy to say my money was refunded and i won the case.

I would give zero if I could and I just wish I would have read the reviews before buying heated gloves from them. Product not as expected at all, cheap material and just awful. I emailed them to return but they wouldn’t accept it, however, website states return available. Scam, this is what it is. AVOID!

Famous last words but I really wish I had looked on here before purchasing from this company, how they are able to still trade is crazy!!
I bought 2 car trackers, useless, not fit for purpose. When the tracker is 4metres away it beeps, can you imagine putting this on a cat, they would be terrified. Not GPS as described on the website, no idea what they’d be useful for….nothing I can think of!
I immediately asked to return the products & get a refund but they said no as the item wasn’t faulty. So instead of arguing with them I challenged the transaction through PayPal as it is a breach of the consumer Rights act 2015. It’s took approx 2 weeks since logging my dispute through PayPal but I’ve just been given a full refund. Clearly scammers.

I bought a sds hard drive for them I thought it was faulty but they put me in touch with their tec team and sorted it out no problem 100% will definitely be coming back for more

This company is a scam, DO NOT PURCHASE ANY GOODS FROM THEM! Purchased heated gloves and not as described or fit for purpose, will not allow you to return or give refunds, these companies should not be allowed to operate.

Deserve 0 stars. AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS. FRAUDSTERS. Gear-tech pose as a UK based company, selling low standand products, which are actually shipped from USA under their actual company name BALMA LLC. I found this out following a dispute in July over an Air conditioning unit which in actual fact was no better than an electric fan. It did not cool a room down! I actually tried to cancel the order when I realised it was going to take over 3 weeks to arrive and hadnt even been shipped, contacted customer service via email and was advised to return it once received if I wasnt happy. They would not stop the order. Anyway, item eventually arrived absolutely useless not as advertised, not fit for purpose. No response to further emails I sent. I took this up with PayPal and after a longwinded dispute, even PayPal were useless at times. I was advised to return for a refund, return to DALLAS USA at a cost of over thirty pounds! PayPal advised I do this too to comply as part of my case. So reluctantly returned at my own cost, hoping the item would indeed reach the destination, as I suspected they would imply not received. After long drawn out phone calls with PayPal I eventually received a partial refund in mid October 2025. I've lost out overall with cost of postage to USA and only getting a partial refund but I hope all these similar reviews stop other people from purchasing from these scammers. It was all very stressful.

Every thing about this Mickey Mouse company is true. I ordered a strimmer and by my own mistake ordered 2. Tried to cancel 1 but wouldn’t let me even though it stated order awaiting process. Had a message to say delivered but when I went onto the Royal Mail link to see photo evidence of the delivery it wouldn’t accept the post code. I contacted Royal Mail and they confidently told me that my order had a different address on it and not the one stated on my delivery details. I’ve messaged them on numerous occasions and have had no help from them, Royal Mail stated they should have contacted them and asked that the parcels be returned and re sent to the correct address or offered replacement, further more a refund. I’m now in the process of taking legal action against the most cowboy company. If your reading this take it from me stay well away from these idiots.

Portable Windowless Air Conditioner: blades getting caught when moving. unable to use on a night when warm! I got offered 10% off next purchase. I e-mailed so many times and asked 50% refund due to item default. they offered 20% and advised me if item was returned it would not get there and will not be refunded at all! horrendous company. Never again will I buy from this place

Paid £89.00 for heated gloves, they took over two weeks to arrive ..then realised they were coming from china. Thought it was a British company. Gloves arrived but without the rechargeable batteries that should be supplied . I emailed their support who to be fair responded immediately, but ever since insisted they have non visible batteries??? and to plug in the Usb charger…which also doesn’t exist. These are definite scammers. AVOID ! have now raised a dispute via PayPal ! It’s hard to get my head round such behaviour , but that’s life I guess

Personaly I wouldn't even give this shower of thiefs one star . I ordered a single rechargeable hearing aid . What arrived was a NON chargeable aid . They have been sent images of the aid to prove this . They insist it is rechargeable then admit I showed them a non chargeable aid . Now in an email battle with them to return the aid to get my refund . I am dealing with idiots who clearly need an eye test .

If I could give a zero I would. A total rip off. My elderly parents bought 2 extenders/repeaters and failed to get them to work, even enlisting the help of an experienced techie expert didnt solve them problem. Numerous emails later, and after they requested us to send a vídeo of the problem and an email from me requesting an RMA Number, as per their stated returns process, still no joy. My parents have written off the £60 they spent. They should be ashamed of themsleves.

Seriously fake goods, Portable SSD storage sold as 8Tb in reality less than 0.5Tb. Not in UK again fake address as I live near to the advertised address! Scam you out your money then just reply from customer services (that's a joke!!) with delaying emails to avoid refunding monies.
Can't understand why fake scammers are allowed to continue to steal from the public. They are based in China so impossible to deal directly with these unscrupulous con artists.
Fortunately I purchased using PayPal who refunded my monies after their investigation. I pointed PayPal to Trust Pilot and I assume they read the poor reviews about these dishonest con artists. Well done to Trust Pilot! If other victims of Gear Tech used PayPal then please report these unscrupulous con artists then maybe PayPal can use their influence to deal with these dishonest people.

Avoid at all costs. Faulty products and refuse to refund or exchange.

Ordered a mini chain saw and it never arrived so after 6 weeks and many emails I finally decided to threaten with legal action.

If I could give this company zero stars I would. Avoid like the plague. Air cooler received was absolutely useless and have been trying to organise a return for refund but they have made it as difficult as possible and still 3 months later haven’t been able to get one. Thru a PayPal dispute they gave me an Argentinian return address (I’m in Uk)which will cost me nearly as much in the refund. Avoid! Avoid!

It's cheap stuff from China and the promised extras ( magnetic holder, extra batteries, dog collar attachment) that where supposed to be in the package didn’t arrive. When contacting customer service (no phone number, they conveniently hide behind emails), I was told they were for demonstration only. But on the website it CLEARLY states that these are part of the product. They are refusing to supply the missing parts, and they are refusing to do a refund. What a laugh. PLEASE DON'T BUY!

Scam company. The returns policy states: "Important Exclusions:
Final sale items, promotional sales, clearance items, discounted orders, and international orders are not eligible for returns or refunds."
If you look at pages 1-49 of their shop EVERY SINGLE ITEM has a promotional sale discount and is therefore not eligible for a refund. Also, I ordered two mosquito zappers which were supposed to be UV. Two arrived, very late as shipped from China, and one was completely crushed in the packaging by the shipping company. The plastic casing is very cheap and flimsy. The remaining working item is not UV as described, but has blue LEDs, is completely useless at attracting mosquitoes and the so-called vortex to suck them in is a cheap and useless fan. Total waste of money with ho chance of a refund. I wish that I'd done my research before ordering from this company - AVOID!
