The Product looks good I trust it will do what is required. (as it wasn't working for a while). When I realised the lights were off I tested the charger and then replaced the failed unit I replaced with an iPhone charger. It now works.
GearTech gave me a £10 refund to replace the cost of the charger which was much appreciated.
The website does not indicate how long shipping will take - so having used Amazon Prime a lot - I was disappointed to be told it might be 2-3 weeks until I receive the item - and that information only came once I had ordered. Some up front notification would be appreciated.

Wish I had checked Trust Pilot reviews first! Very poor service.

Bought a power bank as a gift, but didn't arrived on time as promised. Attempted to return for a refund and was refused. T&C's only damaged goods can be returned. Buyer beware

I purchased a portable ssd from Gear Tech. An excellent price, although I was a bit surprised when I found it was being sent from China. However, that was partly my fault as in looking at their shipping policy they do note that then can ship from other sources. That said there were plenty of emailed updates to show that the shipping was taking place.
When the drive did arrive I tested it only to find that there was a fault and it would not write consistently. I contacted the customer services via email and got a quick reply asking for more details about the error. This I sent and the same day I received suggested instructions to correct the fault. Thankfully the recommendations worked and the drive is now in use.
The customer services staff were quick to respond, courteous, and effective.
Things can go wrong but it is the manner in which they are resolved, and I commend Gear Tech on having effective customer services.

Total scam. I brought a pair of heated gloves and didn't realise they have a wire hanging out of them as the product images on the website do not represent the actual product at all. I asked for a refund and was declined. Do not buy from this company.

I ordered a remote control helicopter for my grandson’s Christmas present. It arrived in a smashed case. The company refused to replace it or refund me as ‘it didn’t meet the criteria’
I wish I had read the reviews before ordering as it is an expensive waste of money.
I am appalled by their response and would like to warn others against buying from the company.

Id give less than one star if i could. It took over 6 weeks to arrive, and then when it arrived I tried to use it, over and again but it took hours to transfer and then always disappeared. I tried to contact them, they did not reply, then i tried to report it to paypal for a refund and they closed the case in the sellers favour, so £40 and a whole load of wasted time.. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!!!!

Ordered a car tracker from this company it took weeks to come and when it did was not as described, it was basically an air tag from China. Cost me £36 looking at the product probably worth £5. I emailed the company explaining it was misleading as it said in description worked of GPS, total lie works off Bluetooth.and had they sent the wrong product?They said they had check the description and was the correct item, asked me to send pictures! In the end I went through PayPal and ended up returning the item which cost me over £12 as the the return address is not even in the UK! It's America.DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY.

If you’re reading this after placing an order, you have my sympathy, I fell for the cheap heated gloves scam (if something seems to good to be true) after utter rubbish finally arrived from China, I emailed them asking for a refund as they were not of merchandisable quality, to be given the run around while they passed me further up the chain of excuse makers. Note your consumer rights under the 2013 consumer contract regulations stipulate that they cannot refuse you a refund (whatever their policies say). They will of course refuse to behave with a scintilla of decency & you’ll lose both your patience and money. So contact Radio 4 money box or the BBC watchdog on the one show, in addition to your MP and anyone else you can think of, if enough of us make a fuss they’ll get their comeuppance!

Shocking how these websites are not taken down. Products don't work and they wouldn't refund. All their reviews must be fake on their website too. I submitted a bad review on their website, which went from pending to gone....no where to be seen.

Bought electric heated gloves with a powerbank. They do not warm up even after 20 mins of being connected to the power bank and are uncomfortable. Complete rip-off and waste of money. Gear tech will not give a refund. Avoid like the plague!

SCAM – stay away! The website looks UK-based, but the items were actually sent from China. I was assured they were a UK company and expected delivery in 2–3 days, but it took two weeks. The items arrived incomplete—missing spare batteries and the magnetic holder—and they do not work as described. They only connect to the phone but provide no tracking, making them defective. The seller refuses to accept returns or resolve the issue. Completely misleading and untrustworthy.

Order arrived late. Items didn’t work as described, then they tried to gaslight me saying they’d tested them from afar. Refused to comply with uk law on returns. Said that any return ‘might not get to them’ as a get out clause to further discourage sending them back. Only tried to use them this once, will never try to use again.

Excellent company. I wanted to buy something but wasn’t sure if it would suit my needs, so I emailed them & they looked into it for me. They came back to me with a very honest answer & said no, they didn’t think it would be any good for me. I really appreciated their honesty & would definitely recommend them.

I'm not sure how anyone could be so completely blazenly untrue with the description and service. They will run you around the houses to not sort out your problems.So I'm going to cut my losses. Don't let it happen to you. Use another provider. I wish I had read Trustpilot.

I ordered a product thinking it was a UK company. Afterwards I did some research as the confirmation email didn’t seem genuine and the payment went to the US. Realised it’s a fake US company sending cheap products from China. Tried to cancel but couldn’t so immediately sent an email to customer services to cancel but was told that it was an automatic dispatch and they can’t cancel now and my product is on its way and will arrive in few days. It didn’t get dispatched for few days after and nearly 2 weeks later still waiting for it to arrive from China. Let’s see what I actually do get from them if anything. I have learnt to research before buying now as this company is a waste of time and money.

My advice is save your money, they're rubbish, they squeal if you get near anything (microphone feed back) if you walk too close to a door jamb squeal! Too close to the door Squeal!, if your head comes within 6 to 12 inches of something solid squeal! Even worse try turning your head to look over your shoulder to check for merging traffic, squeal! But even worse still, sometimes your natural facial muscle movements sets them off squealing! So, so embarrassing when your socialising.
Customer service a waste of time not interested.

Shame I did not read this until now. Purchased a battery pack claiming to be 50000 mah when it’s more like 10000 mah. Tried to get a refund but being quoted rubbish. No attention to consumer rights, shipping products from China that aren’t fit for purpose. AVOID

I had alook at tracking devices for my wife.On receiving it I realised it wasnt what I wanted.I applied for details about returning and instead getting the information I wasbombarded with stuff .
They tried thrir best to convince me to hold on to it
By the way the instruction about how to set it up were printed so small I had to get someone toread them for me and he couldn'tunderstand them

I made the mistake of ordering a robo cleaner from this company after reading their 5 star reviews. I quickly realised this was a big mistake when i read about the company on Trustpiolot. I asked to cancel my order but the sent the item regardless. It was a plastic toy not fit for purpose. I advise everyone to make a claim through paypal giving all the details and as much info as posdible. Im happy to say my money was refunded and i won the case.
