A terrible experience Pre-ordering online
I preordeered GOW online (after the store messed up my preorder). A week before, I chased up all the contact numbers there (non of them respond) till I got a confirmation that the preorder is okay and ill receive it on the 9th.
no one responded on the 9th, no responses on social media (even though they see the message), no responses on WhatsApp (even though they see the message) and no one replies.
Its the 10th, and I receive an automated email (not even a sorry) that it will be delivered in 5-8 days.....WHATS THE POINT OF A PREORDER?!
and till now, NOT A SINGLE APOLOGY.... no one has called me or responded to me.
Horrible experience with the store
Horrible experience with the store so disappointing and unacceptable. I bought a PC from this store a couple of months only to find out there is a problem with it and when I went to the store over 8 times they could not fix it at all and they kept telling me excuses like oh the PC is not broken, oh this problem is normal, oh its probably the wifi only to find out that someone told me the part of the PC is not expensive enough and that's why there's a problem, I mean what seriously and you tell me that now after I went to your store over 8 times there and back and you have not done anything to help me or fix the issue. The workers barely did anything and only came up with excuses this whole time instead of telling me the problem and I spent 2 MONTHS going to the store and back trying to fix my PC and nothing I got nothing and nothing was fixed at all. After finally asking for a refund and waiting another few weeks they told me they will get me the refund and said that they processed the refund but nope they lied to me and there was never any refund processed because I talked to the bank and was told that there was no refund at all. This has been the worst experience I've ever had with a store and the customer service is pathetic.

Bought an online gift card from the…
Bought an online gift card from the Mirdiff CC store and was not able to redeem it. When we complained they took more than 3 days to look into it and finally told us that it was redeemed. I even visited the store and showed them the proof that we were unable to redeem the gift card and the transaction history, they further asked for more time to look into it and finally came back to us and said that it was redeemed. We asked for the proof but they were unable to provide it. They should not be selling services and products if they cannot provide after-sales service and proof of use of the product, especially when such products are for kids. We were loyal customers, but very disappointed. I don't think we would be going back again.

Total scam
Total scam. Purchased a fifa points code and turned out they sold me one that cannot be used in my region even though the website is only in my region. They don't want to refund or fix the problem

It’s a big scam
Geekay is a scam i brought a razer naga x with the numbers and the numbers dont work the mouse was 159AED a 60 % keyboard is 399AED this a scam do not buy from geekay and they said that a mouse the size of a coster the mouse was 70 AED and its is un usable!

The staff at Jumeirah park Pavilion are super friendly and to mention one person particularly his name is Angelito. What a great guy. Website needs some work like updating what's on stock what's not. Keep up the good work. This is my goto place when it comes to buying games and accessories.

never the games are on stock and no update provided even after adding option to notify unlike rest stores where games are most of time on stock and if out of stock and I select option to notify me they do unlike geekery if there any other gaming store close to my place i would but sadly there is not so i have no other option

Terrible.
Absolutely terrible. I tried to order a Minecraft Game Card off of their website and once I got the code, the code didn't work on the Minecraft Website. Not only that, when I tried to email them about this, their response with the instructions on what to do was not clear. When I asked them to clarify, they either never responded back or the response took ages. I even tried to contact them on Whatsapp, Instagram, TikTok but all they told me to do was to email them. Frustrating service. I will probably never buy anything else off of their website ever again.

I ordered a PS Plus Membership from them a week ago and haven't received it yet. They don't respond to emails either just an automated response each time you send them one. It's a complete waste shopping there, especially online. Now they have my money but I don't have my PS Plus code.

So this has been the worst experience ever by Geakay Games. I don’t like to start my post with a negative tone but the poor service I received from Geakay Games and their faulty products not to mention their very slow response and incompetent support are really agitating and it is crucial to let everyone know so they don’t suffer like we did.
It is a real shame that one of the largest gaming retailers in Middle East fails to provide a normal customer service.
We have ordered a game switch for our 8-year-old boy on his birthday to make him happy since he was sad we can't celebrate it due to current COVID-19 lockdown, however when trying the game it didn’t work, we contacted your customer service by email to request a replacement. We suggested giving the product for you to review when we visited the store the other day.
However, your store manager 'Dave' stated that couldn't be possible as the retail stores had no connection with the 'online' business. So all in all your customer service is not very helpful (to put it mildly) and we have no interest in travelling back to the store again to be informed they cant help me. Furthermore, you told us 'You can bring it to our nearest store and our associates will be more than happy to assist you with it. The store timings for Mirdiff is 12pm to 10 pm'.
Then you are telling me a technical assistant needs to view the product before proceeding with any sort of action. Then you manipulate the proof and send a picture of a product that’s not ours...!!!!! All in all very confusing twisted and perplexing.
we appear to be going around in circles with you and all we are requesting is the replacement of the faulty game.
You didn’t even bother to reply to my continuous emails till now! The only response I got from them stating that they can't replace the switch cause it is defected and they attached a picture of a faulty switch that doesn’t belong to us, although we have sent them a proof picture of how the switch looked like right before we send it back, all we received as response is…silence…
We are most annoyed that we wasted more than 2000 AED and spend days on back and forth emails following with your customer service just to replace the faulty game but sadly with no solution till date. Not to mention that the excitement of the 8-year-old kid went straight out of the window because of your bad customer service.

Not sure what is your turn around time or average speed of handling emails or responding to customers, from what I have experienced, it takes ages to get a response to one email.

A real example of a horrible customer service. You didn’t just lose a customer, you lost a kid's passion, he was so happy he will play super Mario on his birthday, will leave you to imagine the frustration your services caused to our family.
I need a solution please ASAP before I escalate this further.

Geekay is a good place to buy video games but not figures, the figures are more expensive than some other stores, and some of the employees are bad at customer service and some are good, I would only recommend buying some video games and some figures from them, and I would also recommend to check the prices before purchasing from them.
