Newest update...I finally received my order today and everything was well packaged. The rolls are awesome and the Milchschnitte still tasted OK! So if you plan on ordering during the Holidays make sure that you order at least 6 weeks prior! (Original review)... I ordered 165$ worth of product and it was supposed to be here by 8pm on 3-30-2018, now mind you that it took a long time before they even processed my order. I just went back online to check and now it says Monday 4-2-2018 by 8pm. Tried calling once I dound out since they be closing soon but was not able to get anyone on the phone. The lady that usually answers the phone is really nice and obviously get the bad end of the deal. Easter is over by MOnday and the child did not get any of her Easter products. I am very upset about this deal and hope they will make it up to me in some way. ............Did not see how to add a response to their reply but at the time when I ordered all my products there was NO SICKNESS!

This has been a terrible experience. Do not buy from this store. They give shipping details and then say 5-7 business days. I placed my order on March 4, 2018 and it is still in some holding area. It says" ready to be shipped". If you try customer service, you can't get through or chat with anyone. This business is truly a rip-off. I cannot recommend this to anyone.

I wish I could give no stars. I placed an order second week of November and read the company’s busy schedule which said it would be six business days during peak season. I elected to have the shipment sent to an address I was staying at for the week of Thanksgiving as it was to be delivered per their email. Instead my order sat in processing for over 11 days and when I called to inquire about it noone ever answered the phone despite stating they had an operator available during said times. I sent two emails asking to cancel the order and no answer. Finally, I get a follow up voice mail stating say it is too late, we shipped it. I called back and rep said she could try to have the package sent to a new address once it reached states. The most expensive item was an advent calendar and redirecting it would have added more days onto the lateness and pushed it to 6-7 days in December. When I explained this, she said oh well. Horrible customer service. Buyer beware! They delete negative reviews too as others have said they had issues and the reviews are mysterious gone? I also had mine pulled. It is not an honest business.

Great selection of German groceries! Only thing missing - for me - is some nice Currywurst like CurryKing and others :-)
Shipping is always safe and quick and all goods are fresh with no short expiration dates. Shipping charges are reasonable considering it's a FEDEX delivery. Great to have this option for buying German food and other items year around without the need to jump on a plane!

Shipping fees are very reasonable, unfortunately on my second order, the milka cream eggs were completely damaged even though they were in a cardboard case. A loss of $7, I just won't order chocolate items any longer. Other than that the packaging is very good. Even the porcelain cups did not break. I love germanshop24.

i was worried my chocolates would be melted coming all the way from Germany. Not so . Everything arrived safely packaged, very quick. the prices were very good too - you have a new customer now. glad i discovered your shop.

After placing my order at 22:00 I found some more items I wanted. So the next morning I called costumer service and left a message. Promptly I got a call back from Svenja ,who was so very nice and helpful, she added my other purchases to my order.
It wasn't even an hour later that she called back to tell me that they had already packed my original order and was waiting for shipping on a pallet they couldn't add my new few items to it.
Boy was I disappointed, just another example of German efficiency. With an American company it wouldn't have been packed already.
A few hours later Svenja called back to tell me that while loading the FedEx truck one of the workers noticed my package and pulled it to the side so that they could add my extra items.
WOW, was I impressed!!!
I do not think a American worker would have even bothered.
KUDOS to the whole German shop 24 team. "OUTSTANDING work "and excellent customer service.
Svenja was so nice and efficient, you have the right person for the job.
I will definitely order again and recommend your company to all my friends especially to my German in America group on Facebook.

I have been shopping with this company for a few years now and I wish I could give them 10 stars instead of just 5! Too bad I didn't discover them sooner ?!! My shopping experience is ALWAYS great and I order a lot each time. Great customer service, absolutely outstanding packaging, fast delivery and the packages arrive in perfect condition each time. Their prices are great too. Much cheaper than from the competition out there. Also the items come with a long expiration date each time which is very important for me since I order a lot :-))
Overall an outstanding company! I have referred them to all my friends!!
