I went to Thame Costa we ordered a hot chocolate received Luke warm one. It was in the largest heaviest mug going and we are both pensioners .
The girl at the counter said she would let us know when ready she forgot to busy. And our hot chocolate went to the other side of room. I asked her where it was Intruding on a customer. She said she would go get it. So our hot chocolate had sat at the other side of room. Getting even colder. It was £5 45
The staff where nice but didn’t have any time to interact they were to busy.
I asked where the sugar was and it was at the other end of shop. I had to fight my way through to get it.
I think should have two stations . Should also have two set places for collecting the order. As if your sat in one area. You certainly can’t hear anything. Especially if you’re hard at hearing . The staff were rushed off there feet. But the lay out of the shop. Was complicated .

Read the Terms and Conditions when purchasing Promotional Gift Cards as their promotions are misleading. I purchased a Christmas £20 gift card to benefit from the extra £5 . My confirmation email explicitly stated that the additional £5 promotional credit would be included, which led me to believe that the gift card value would total £25. The recipient received £20.

My experience today at lunchtime was 11/10. The authentic friendlinest , competence and speed were great with the gentleman barista with dark hair and the kind lady with the shorter (although still long) hair!
Made losing points earlier this year and your customer service emails being very unwelcome more palatable.

Stopped by the Costa Coffee near Cavendish Square and left feeling a bit disappointed. The service was slow even though the café wasn’t particularly busy, and several tables were left uncleared with crumbs and cups sitting around. My drink was okay but nothing special, and it took longer than expected to arrive. It feels like the place could really benefit from a bit more attention to cleanliness and customer care. Not the worst experience, but definitely not up to the standard I expect from Costa.

Dirty floors and tables. Overpriced.
Would not go again.

The service was slow food had to be returned as it was cold i know one of the machines wasn't working but nobody took the time to say sorry about the wait or why you had to wait. The tables were not getting cleared. It wasn't overly busy. Was very disappointed. The branch is Harden green Edinburgh. Not all your branches are like this. The one at Straiton midlothian is brilliant.

Costa Coffee Gidea Park refused to serve a hot water so I bought a bottle of water, no glass offered, the loos were filthy and the tables were not cleared.

This site prepared a latte made from cows milk despite ordering an 'oat latte' highlighting that I had allergies.

Since June 15th, 2025, I have been fighting with this company who have failed to take any accountability for this issue. They claimed to have followed all the protocols for someone with allergies and yet made my drink using cows milk even after knowing I had a dairy allergy.

In order to prove this, I was forced to get the sample which I had kept tested which showed that it was in fact cows milk and even now Costa do not answer my emails.

Folks, there is a real danger with these companies who knowingly lead you along a 'long' path in the hope that your issue is diluted by time and then they simply ignore you.

DISGUSTING behaviour and attitude by this corporate giant who clearly doesn't give two hoots about the welfare or the potential life threatening illness they might case to customers who have informed them of allergies.

Great experience today at 126 Cannon Street.
It's raining and half term so the cafe was crowded. The two staff behind the counter were cheerful and served my extra hot cappuccino in super quick time: the coffee was ready almost before I was ready to pay. It's not always like this but today's performance was impressive. Thank you

was visiting Cheshire oaks shopping outlet yesterday, was there all day.Called in twice to Costa for lunch and then coffee and cake.This particular cafe had three behind counter and one young lady cleaning tables. The place was rammed full. The 3 behind the counter dealt efficiently, calmly, never stopped for breath. Were friendly, helpful and efficient.I was very impressed esp with their efficiency despite being so busy.They were very friendly and helpful.I dont think they even had time for a break.Busy as hell both times i went in yesterday. The tables were cleaned and cleared away . Most impressive, this is how all Costa's should be, just this one had exactly the right staff. Whatever youre paying them,isnt enough!! well one staff.

I recently visited your branch at Cameron Toll Shopping Centre here in Edinburgh. I ordered a frappe and an iced mocha with oat milk and was served by John. When I received my order and brought it to my table, he immediately came over to inform us that the drinks had been made with the wrong milk. He took them back, remade our drinks correctly, and even offered us some treats as an apology.

I want to commend John for his honesty and outstanding service, truly five-star! Employees like him deserve recognition and reward. He might forget us, but we will never forget him.

The standard of cleanliness is awful,had more tables with cup/ saucers and various detritus from food than tables free to use, what was taken away had left duty surfaces, will not be back

Went in there to purchase goods & decided to have breakfast in their cafe. When it was served it was completely cold, there was only a couple of customers in there at the time drinking coffee. When we complained the chef came out & offered to warm it up. I don’t expect to pay for cold food & then have it shoved in a microwave. Couple of other customers then came in & ordered breakfasts which arrived steaming hot! We then asked to speak to the manager who came over & stated well they offered to warm them up for you, & nobody else has complained. Probably due to the fact that after we complained they made sure they were hot.
What an attitude, we certainly won’t be shopping or eating on there again.

Have always expeirenced a high customer service level is Hoddesdon Costa. They make drinking coffee out a pleasure.

My disappointment began when the staff said the sign advertising maple coffee was wrong IT had to change it, Then I paid £10.10 for 2 coffee, The sad thing as a Barista I had customer complaint over £3.50 coffee and the service was average!

I just want to give a massive shout-out to Ben, who absolutely made my day! I wasn’t having the best morning, so I dropped by for a cappuccino to lift my spirits — and Ben went above and beyond. He surprised me with a free Terry’s Chocolate Muffin Cake, and that thoughtful gesture completely turned my day around!

Ben’s customer service was exceptional — warm, professional, and full of positivity. You could tell he was working hard and juggling a busy drive-thru, yet he still took the time to have a friendly chat and serve me with a genuine smile. His quick thinking and kindness made me feel truly valued as a customer.

It’s small acts like this that make a big difference. I left the drive-thru feeling so much happier and more positive than when I arrived. Thank you, Ben, for being so thoughtful and for bringing such a lovely human touch to your work. I really hope you get the recognition you deserve — you’re a credit to Costa!

No idea what is going on with Costa Cardiff Newport Rd City Link.

I guess over a 2 month period i have visted there several times including today 30th of Sept 25.

Each visit leaves me baffled as to why working staff think its OK to leave tables full of dirty crockery.

I even emailed customer services and had a reply 2 weeks later saying they would bring it to the attention of mangement and i verbally told a staff member that they should clear the tables but it seems my words have fallen on deaf ears.

Coffee is nice but lack of attention to detail needs to be addressed.

Very poor and staff were rude and the place was not clean dirty cups and rays left on tables with I took it on myself to clear the table where we were sitting served coffee with a broken saucer, took it to the counter and showed it to one of the girls who changed without even an apology,I complained to head office about the place and staff and was sent a £5.00 gift card as an apology my letter which sent under recorded delivery costed more to me and that I got a response is that they woud make sure they action.

Never drink there again twice now had bad tummy ache after drinking coffee. They never keep things clean and lots of cross contamination of milks .they use same jug for all milks including vegan milk .places in Hempstead Valley in side and out side they all the same

Second time now within 2 months of visiting necton rudge shop on route to Norfolk inside again bins overflowing tables not cleaned. When the girl came to empty the bins her attire was something else yes she had a Costa tee shirt on but her white trainers were covered in a brown like substance like she had just cleaned a cow shed out not the look customers expecting to see while drinking there coffee and eating food
