I havent been able to login to gname.com for a while now and therefore i cant use the domains that i have listed there. Post login details i get back to the login page even though it says successfully logged in. I have also reported that i use one specific credit card for purchases on this website and it was compromised. Gname removed it from my account (delinked it). The payment i made from the card doesnt show on my account credit. How can i reach them to resolve these issues?

My experience with Gname’s backordering system has been extremely negative and I cannot recommend their service.
I placed a backorder based on Gname’s prominent statement that an internal auction would only occur if another Gname.com User placed a competing backorder. In my case I was the only user who backordered the domain. However, when the domain was caught it was placed into a public auction instead.
Only later did I discover that Gname relies on small-print language stating that if the domain is caught by another registrar they may run a public auction. In practice those registrars appear to be part of Gname’s own catching network. As a result, the promise that auctions only occur when another “User” places a backorder is misleading.
Another serious issue is their handling of backorder deposits. Gname requires users to transfer funds in advance but no proper order documentation is provided at the time the funds are taken. Many other registrars avoid taking advance payments for backorders precisely to avoid these problems.
Trying to withdraw the unused deposit has been even more frustrating. The refund process is extremely bureaucratic and illogical. Despite the fact that Gname obviously has full records of incoming payments from their Customers to their own account, they are demanding that I provide confidential banking details to prove that I made the transfer.
In my case they already know exactly which account the funds came from because the payment was received and credited to my user balance. Requiring customers to disclose additional private banking information to retrieve their own money feels unnecessary and inappropriate.
Overall my experience with Gname has involved:
• Misleading communication about when auctions occur
• Backorder deposits taken without clear order documentation
• An unnecessarily complicated and intrusive refund process
Because of these issues I will not be using Gname again for domain backorders and would advise other investors to review the terms very carefully before depositing funds.

despite the evidence clearly showing them being spread via a malicious spam campaign urging people to hand over bank information for 2.5-3.2k usd, gname has taken no action. so thank you gname for harbouring scammers and criminals.
update: domains have been suspended, i will further improve the rating if the abuse team continue to suspend fraudulent domains i have reported. I met the Icann standards of proof for abuse and shouldnt need to escalate via a public review to recieve action.

GNAME is absolutely a fraudulent company! Without my knowledge or authorization, they intercepted transfer of my domain name from one company to another, then stole my domain name. Now they are demanding money for me to buy my own domain back!

Never purchase from Gname. They will never send you email notification about your domain expiration and give your domain to someone else. They are very unprofessional and when you ask them for proof of email notification, they only send you their system notification. Worst domain name provider I have ever dealt with and I buy domain names for a living. Stay away from Gname

asked them to take down a website that copied ours and used our products and logos attempting to scam other customers and they responded quickly and took down the fraudulent website.
The Gname Team acted quickly and professionally in handling our request.
Their responsiveness and efficiency were truly impressive, and the matter was addressed without delay.
