I am so happy I chose GoNorth Campers for my first ever campervan adventure. I was travelling solo and wanted to choose a company that I felt I could rely on should anything go wrong en route.
I could not have been happier from booking, pick-up, drop-off and everything inbetween.
Jennifer was so helpful & responsive to all my pre-arrival questions, answering emails within 1 or 2 hrs.
Neil met me at Elgin station for both the pick-up & drop-off and I really appreciated the personal touch & flexibility around my flight times.
The van itself was spotless. It contained everything I needed and more. Bedlinen, towels, washing-up linen, full set of eating/cooking equipment etc etc.
The pre-arrival video which covered everything you needed to know about driving a campervan was soooo helpful.
I had an amazing 10 day journey on the NC500. The van did not let me down no matter the weather nor road conditions - even the Bealach na Ba was no challenge for my VW T6 ;o)
I highly recommend this company. I hope to return one day and if/when I do, I will be booking with GoNorth.

From beginning to end, Go North Campers have been straightforward and provided amazing service!

Our dates and times for arrival and departure didn’t quite row in with the online booking system but after a phone call and a couple of emails, we were met pretty much as we walked off our train with the campervan ready to go and able to leave the van in a convenient location upon leaving.

I chose Go North Campers because I figured it would be best to have everything provided (linens, towels, cooking utensils etc) and we were certainly not disappointed. The campervan was equipped with everything we needed and after watching a short ‘how to’ clip, we realised just how easy and straightforward everything was to use. All we really took was our clothing and food.

The campervan itself was super easy to drive and managed everything we asked, including some fairly trying mountainous roads and it was surprisingly fuel efficient.

Even with a minor technical issue, a phone call to HQ was all it took to be alleviated of our worries.

I would 100% recommend Go North Campers for anyone looking to plan their next adventure!

Had the van for two weeks. First time using a campervan hire company and so pleased I chose Go north. Pre-hire communication was excellent, Jennifer gave me all the information I needed and more to do the NC500, Orkney and the highlands.
The Van was spotless and very well looked after. I could tell they maintain the engine and electrics to a high standard, hence no issues over the two weeks.
Pick up and drop off was smooth. Met Neil at the HQ.. I left on my journey feeling reassured and confident that this is a professional outfit and able to relax and enjoy my holiday.
My other impression is that they do everything they can to put the customer first. I highly recommend this company to anyone looking to hire a camper van.

Fabulous service resulting in a fantastic holiday. You cannot fault anything. The van was spotless and well equipped for our 8 night adventure on the NC500 route.

Perfect camper for the NC500! The van was clean and equipped with everything you could need, was easy to use and the team were so helpful from booking until the end of our trip. Really appreciate them bringing the van to Elgin station for us as well. 100% recommend and hope to use them again in the future :)

My wife & I hired a camper for 6 nights to tour the NC500. Camper van was as described in useful video provided before pick-up: Clean, tidy, well equipped and whole trip went very smoothly. Neil was very helpful and very pleasant folk to do business with. Can certainly recommend.

Bei unserem Truckcamper war alles wie beschrieben (neu und sehr gepflegt). Der Service und die Beratung war wirklich hervorragend und ließ keine Wünsche offen. Wir fühlten uns die ganze Zeit sehr gut beraten und betreut. Danke Alex ein Großteil des Lobes fällt auf dich zurück. Sollten wir wieder nach Alaska kommen dann fahren wir auf jeden Fall wieder mit Go North.

Suberb customer service throughout. From the first enquiry and through the holiday, every question asked was answered very quickly and professionally with some nice personal touches.
The Van itself was spot on, really clean, well equipped and had everything we needed to relax and enjoy our NC500 holiday. A great company where our custom felt genuinely valued. 100% recommended.

Brilliant company. The van itself was perfect for the NC500 and the hiring process was totally smooth and professional. Such nice people from start to finish who clearly knew from their own experiences how to make the guest experience unforgettable. The countryside and locations were breathtaking and I would do it all again in an instant.

Awesome people, awesome van! Had the best time doing the nc500, Skye, glen coe and glen Nevis in the van. Super dog friendly too! Properly kitted out with everything you will need! We will be booking again!

My wife Susie and I had been thinking of buying a camper for a few years but had never taken the plunge...then COVID came!
Now that is almost a distant memory it was on our minds again so we contacted Go North to discuss hiring a camper out of season. We dropped in and were even given a tour of a van on the spot and had all of our questions answered! Our relatively short trip was brilliant, taking in part of the NC500 then staying over in Skye for a night. We also scored with brilliant weather!
We enjoyed it so much that we are now proud owners of our own camper...all thanks to Go North. They were so helpful and professional, even going that extra mile.

Can't rate GoNorth highly enough. From collection to drop off,everything was well organised and well communicated. All interactions were friendly and helpful with a genuine approach to ensure everything went smoothly.

What a fantastic experience, can’t recommend GoNorth enough.The team were so friendly and helpful. The van was perfect for our week trip around the NC500. If you’re looking to rent a van, don’t hesitate to use these guys.

This was well and truly our home for 11 nights and we couldn't have been happier with it. It drove beautifully, and it was completely clean when it was given to us. They were so quick to respond to any queries throughout our trip and Nick was kind enough to meet us at pick up and drop off at the train station. The induction video was super helpful. Had everything we needed included in the price which was great for managing our budget. Will definitely drive with them again!:) only thing that could be better would be location for pickup/drop off being closer to the airport as we had to drive an hour each way to start and finish the nc500 and take a train from the airport to collect and after we returned it. However they are 100% worth the travel to get to.

Top tip to be careful of which Nick made us aware of, is watch that drivers side wing mirror! The amount of motor homes that nearly smacked it off was ridiculous, but due to the pre warning, we were ready!

Just back from a two week adventure , WOW!! Could not of asked for anything more . The van was a fantastic experience from the moment we booked to the moment we dropped off .

We're just home from a fantastic 9 day trip touring around the Outer Hebrides. The campervan was perfect, so easy to set up at each stop, very easy to drive on very narrow winding roads, and easy to get on and off the ferry etc. It was very well equipped, and surprisingly good storage. Go North were brilliant, easy to book, excellent video info guide to the van which we could refer to while we were away, and very prompt/ helpful responding to queries. Thank you!

Fantastic customer service. Really quick in responding to any questions and the tutorial video they send to you before your trip should answer queries you may have. Nice and simple to drive and clean and presentable. Nothing seems any trouble. Would use again but would shop around a bit more next time as bumping into users of other rentals there's is cheaper deals for bigger vehicles. We did 10 days and a company called roadsurfer in Edinburgh was around £120 cheaper for an even bigger vehicle which was stunning inside. So great company but certainly not the best deal out there.
