I am extremely happy and satisfied with Google Cloud storage services. The reliability, performance, and seamless integration with tools like Google Drive, Gmail, and Google Photos make it an excellent platform for both personal and business use.

The storage scalability, especially options like 2TB to 5TB , is very useful for managing large amounts of data. Backup and synchronization features work perfectly, ensuring my important files are always safe and accessible.

I truly appreciate Google for providing such a powerful and user-friendly cloud ecosystem. My sincere thanks to the entire Google team for their continuous innovation and support.

I highly recommend Google Cloud services to anyone looking for a trusted and efficient storage solution.

Duplican los pagos y no los devuelven

Duplican los pagos y no los devuelven, es una pésima práctica contínua y no hay manera de que lo devuelvan una vez cargado a la tdc. Que pésima práctica. Esto lo hacen a modo y a propósito para que una vez que el cliente realiza el pago manual se justifican argumentando que ellos hacen el cargo automático y a quién le avisan. Si fueran éticos no aceptaban el pago automático si el cliente ya lo pagó pero no eso es aprovecharse y mas en pagos anuales, que pésimos son.

I decided to try Google Cloud for a simple project. This turned into a 10-day battle with a support system that is fundamentally broken.

My account started with a 0 vCPU quota. Normal for new accounts.

The automated system to request an increase denied it and told me to "contact Sales".

The Sales chat is a broken bot that doesn't connect you to a human. The email address doesn't work. It's impossible to contact them.

I managed to contact Billing support (Case #63607519). The agent was useless, refused to escalate the issue to a manager, and kept sending me back to the broken Sales link.

I had to escalate via Twitter. The social media team made me fill out a verification form, then, after a day, sent me THE EXACT SAME BROKEN LINK to the Sales team.

After more than 10 days, multiple support agents, and a public escalation, Google's final answer was to send me back to the start of the loop they know is broken.

This isn't just bad support; it's a system designed to prevent new customers from using their service. I have given up and am moving to a competitor. Stay away if you value your time.

Hell

I work for a 30B$ NASDAQ company. I'm working on a personal project which could translate into a business project, but GCP bureaucracy is so idiotic, they are refusing to add 2 more external IPs to my project.

All roads lead to a Sales person, and they won't move their finger unless its a business plan. Yes, you can buy the 30$ support plan for 5$ product usage which also a scam

Incómoda de utilizar

Incómoda de utilizar, frames muy cargados, información confusa, pantallas, pantallas y más pantallas, se les olvidó la intuitividad.

Además que obligan a cargar un método de pago, no te cobran nada, pero en mi caso, no utilizo google pay para nada.

Pratica commerciale scorretta e mancanza di trasparenza

Utilizzavo Google Cloud con il loro credito di prova iniziale. La mia grande delusione inizia quando questo credito termina: senza alcun tipo di notifica, avviso o email di warning, Google inizia automaticamente ad addebitare i costi dei servizi sulla mia carta di credito.

Il risultato? Un addebito non autorizzato di 214€.

Dopo aver contattato il supporto clienti, il primo operatore, riconoscendo la natura involontaria dell'addebito, ha ammesso la mancanza di avvisi e ha dichiarato testualmente: "Considerando che l'utilizzo sembra essere stato involontario, poiché non era a sua conoscenza che i servizi stessero accumulando costi, procederò a richiedere una rettifica degli addebiti per suo conto".

Con mio stupore, però, oggi mi viene comunicato che, nonostante quanto affermato in precedenza, dovrò comunque pagare il 50% della cifra (107€).

Il problema non è la cifra in sé, ma il principio.
Per un'azianda delle dimensioni e della reputazione di Google, mi aspettavo correttezza, trasparenza e responsabilità verso l'utente. Invece, trovo una pratica opaca:

Nessun avviso prima di iniziare ad addebitare centinaia di euro.

Un processo di billing non trasparente che punta sulla disattenzione dell'utente.

Una gestione del reclamo incoerente e che si smentisce da sola.

Consiglio a tutti di monitorare ossessivamente il proprio account Google Cloud e di impostare alert di billing molto stringenti, perché da loro non ne riceverete. Esperienza estremamente deludente e poco rispettosa del cliente.

Teuer und schlecht

Ich frage mich, auf welchem Planeten diese Menschen leben.

Über EUR 300,- für die Business-Lizenz verlangen, aber wenn ich mein Passwort vergessen habe, dauert es zwei Tage(!) bis ich einen Anmeldelink erhalte. Für ein BUSINESS ACCOUNT!!!

Soll ich jetzt zwei Tage meinen Laden dicht machen, weil ich keine E-Mails mehr senden und empfangen kann?

Resolved: Initial Billing Frustrations, but Resolved Fairly

After an initial frustrating experience with Google Cloud’s billing practices and support delays, I am pleased to report that the issue has been resolved. Google refunded the NZ$365.15 charge and canceled future billing. While I appreciate the resolution, the process to get there was unnecessarily stressful and could have been handled more smoothly.

Improvements I’d recommend:

Faster Response Times: Billing concerns should be treated as high priority with prompt resolutions.

Clearer Communication: Transparent processes for refunds and managing billing accounts would help users avoid confusion.

Billing Protections for Prototypes: Google Cloud should implement safeguards (e.g., spending caps or better cost warnings) to prevent disproportionate charges for small-scale projects.

While I’m grateful the issue is resolved, I hope Google Cloud takes these points into account to improve the experience for others.

The charge was debited from my account without warning, and I wasn’t allowed to remove my debit card from their system to prevent further charges. This lack of transparency and control over billing is unacceptable compared to competitors like AWS or Supabase.

To make matters worse, I had to escalate this issue to my company, leading to an embarrassing situation. My company reimbursed me, but I ultimately had to cancel my debit card to avoid additional unfair charges.

Google Cloud’s lack of responsiveness and poor communication has left me deeply disappointed. I would strongly caution others to be vigilant with their billing and payment details if considering this platform.

Google Cloud is for Robots

I am a website developer. I wanted to try to use Google Cloud for a new website for my client. So I tried to put in his debit card. But another screen popped up asking me to upload photos of my clients debit card and his state ID. This is to help prevent fraud. I didn't have it on hand. As he tends to be busy it wasn't until a few days later that I was able to get them to upload. But now Google has blocked this account from being able to even try to use that debit card, or one of my own, or anything else.

Trying to reach out to support is like hitting a brick wall. I am told that I only have access to Billing Support which I fully understand. But when I try to access Billing Support I hit the brick wall, even though they tell me that I will be able to contact them. I am made to run around in circles trying to get a human being to help fix this mess. When I contact sales they say that they don't handle that. I had one sales rep email me some information to try to contact Billing Support with but none of that information helps me at all.

Honestly I had a hard time trying to use other Google products in the past as well so this should not surprise me.

I honestly think that Google is like a giant computer program. If everything goes according to the plan, then OK fine. If anything unexpected happens though then its an error and nothing can be done.

If you can find an alternative to Google for anything, then I urge you to consider those options.
