My sister and I have been planning to tour Scotland together. We were looking for ways to plan take this trip using mostly trains for transportation between cities. When I found this site I was so excited! Adam has been so helpful setting up an itinerary. He responded quickly and provided us with all the information we needed to get going. He listened to our requests and has made accommodations for places and times we hoped to visit. Adam is friendly and easy to communicate with. I appreciate the fact that he has lived in some of the cities we will visit and has local knowledge to help with our itinerary. We are looking forward to this wonderful journey!

Adam was very helpful in planning our trip. He listened to what we wanted, provided an initial itinerary, and then followed up with us to tweak it. He was very responsive and timely in his communications. His enthusiasm for Ireland and special places to visit makes planning even more fun.

This is exactly what we were looking for. Someone to turn our wants into an itinerary that works with our previously planned Red Stag hunt near Inverness. We are planning a trip to Scotland in September 2026. There are 3 of us - myself, my husband and a friend. We were originally going to plan the trip ourselves, rent a car and do all of our own planning and booking. My husband saw the Go Rail Tours website information and we decided to contact them to get some information. I had a bit of difficulty at first with connecting with someone but as soon as I made contact with Peter it has been wonderful. Peter has been excellent at listening to what we want to experience from this trip. He has been extremely patient as we have made adjustments to suit our needs and our budget. He has explained things in good detail and I’m confident that if we need to make any changes/adjustments down the road that he will work with us to make this trip an amazing experience for us all.
