GRC Solar Ltd Avis

We are so happy we chose GRC to fit our solar panels, they have been excellent from start to finish.

Communication has been brilliant throughout and everything was explained to us really clearly. Scaffolding was sorted for us which went up the day before the install and was back down again a few days later. The installers were brilliant, they explained what they were going to do, showed me the set up and went through the app with me (which is really easy to use).

They monitor the system remotely to make sure everything is working as it should do. They’re also sorting the export tariff for me so you really don’t have to do much at all. They have a very slick operation going on.

Shout out to Andy who has been brilliant, nothing is too much trouble. He even messaged with updates while he was on holiday and should have been relaxing!

I will be recommending GRC to my friends/family/colleagues.

Excellent help sorting out our export account! Thank you GRC SOLAR!

GRC are experts not opportunists. They care that you are looking for the system that suits your use of electricity at whatever hour of the day you use power. They will give you a configuration that works beyond whatever current eneegy supplier offers as the best. This is a 10 plus year purchase and they give the the best you can get on current tech and be assured that if you have a novel config you are winning because they keep up to date. The competition offer the system they understood a few years ago. Don't go for cheapest and expect best return investment but even that said the customer service was worth it as we got tweaks to our system as we asked for them. Tech will always advance, go with people who make the most of what is possible. Superb.

Great company helped me from start to finish and very helpful over the phone

It's a great system I have 12 panels had one battery when i was with Solar energy bought two from GRCS since they were installed the most I've used from the grid was last month 8.81 kWh saving me a fortune with Octopus energy on there fixed outgoing plan for now 15p a kWh so I'm happy.
Thank you GRCS
Bill.

The company did everything well. Explained the process, no pressure selling, helpful staff, efficient installation, queries answered promptly and help to set up export payment. No hesitation in recommending GRC.

Great experience with GRC from start to finish can't fault them. From the initial home visit by Ian to the actual fitting of our panels, inverter and batteries, in a weatherproof box outsideas we have very little loft space it's been seamless. The team doing the fitting were great and were done in less than a day, we had 14 panels, 2 batteries and one inverter so not a small system. They were very polite and extremely tidy as well.
Just waiting on the certificated then will be getting in touch with Elliot to help set my export tariff up.
Used very little electricity from the grid well 6.9kwh, from solar 374.3kwh & fed back 107.1kwh what a saving and the weather hasn't even been great here in North Wales.
After getting a few quotes from others we would highly recommend GRC Solar for price, quality and workmanship.

Great company,Tom explained everything and there is always someone willing to help answer any additional questions you have.Elliot has just helped set up export tariff for any excess electric we make. And best of all they set up the app and you can see how little electric you need to take from the grid

From initial contact, to the end of the installation, I have been impressed with GRC. It is now 17 days since start up. All is working well. I was kept informed every step of the way.
Best of all, they are very good with communications. Got a response immediately 100% of the time.
Would recommend their services without hesitation.

There are so many Solar Cowboys out there it's so hard to trust anybody.
I was originally recommended GRC SOLAR by a well trusted work colleague who had used them on his own property and even though my own son is a qualified Electrician I ordered a 18 panel system from them with battery storage.
Andy carried out a full survey and went over all the details with us including what we wanted from the system and then he quoted with a full professional proposal covering everything.
Install was a few weeks later and I have to say the fitters were excellent, clean, tidy and everything was cabled and tied very neatly, with virtually zero inconvenience.
System been in a few days now and we are seeing approx a 65% reduction in Electricity bills against non solar and we have an app which tells us live what the state of the batteries are like, what the roof is producing and also what the house is using 👏👏
Brilliant Job, great install team and the result we wanted for installing Solar !! Plus it makes me happier with some green credentials now 😊

Highly recommended 👌

Excellent from start to finish
No high pressure sales, great communication, installation on a date to suit us, scaffold up and down on time, very tidy installation, great after sales, panels and batteries all working fine, app easy to use.

GRC Solar have been very professional from start to finish. The representative who visited us at home was very informative, and didn't use any high-pressure selling techniques. His second visit was to deliver a comprehensive, personalised report on solar productivity, and he provided two cost options which he left with us. The scaffolders and installers were all polite and courteous, and worked in a neat and tidy manner. There was a problem with our roof tiles, however the installers found a suitable solution without any fuss, and didn't incur any delay. The system has been working efficiently since it was switched on, with the App providing live data. (It's a bit addictive watching it!) The staff at GRC Solar have continued to be helpful following installation, answering queries about iBoost, and the Smart Export to our energy company. Thank you GRC!

Presales no pressure at all Installation was smooth and easy Aftersales a great help can't say more than thank you

Excellent service. Sales and installers were very professional and accommodating.
Always available if any question are asked.

Great company all staff all very helpful and considerate take you right through the experience from start to finish and getting you signed up with an energy provider to having your surplus solar paid back into your account

When I first decided to have solar panels I approached several companies and although GRC were not the cheapest they proved to be the most helpful The date of installation was agreed upon, There were problems with the attitude of 2 of the 3 workmen which I duly reported to the management of GRC. and this was resolved and the system is now working and saving me on my Electric bills

GRC Solar had installed solar panels for a lot of my friends and came highly recommended. However I wanted to explore other installers as well. I found that the quote from GRC was competitive and there was room for negotiation. Once the final price was agreed, and also during the process, the communication was swift and clear. The installation was straightforward. I had subsequent contact with GRC, weeks after the installation, and the response then was also prompt and helpful. I am sure there will be niggling problems in the future, but I am confident that I will get the support and help GRC, months and years down the line.

I’ve waited a while to write this review, because there have been four parts to it. Having decided to invest in Solar panels I approached a number of companies and received a wide range of quotes. GRC Solar stood out for their customer service. The installation was hassle free and very neat and tidy. At the time there was a problem with delivery of the battery, due to problems in China so it was finally installed four months after the panels. All is working beautifully and greatly reduces my utility bills. The last part was applying for export of the residual electricity. Here again a member of GRC Solar came to help me, doing the application on my behalf. A truly excellent company

Great service all round. No pushy sales people, clear pricing and quick turn around for installation.
