The hair transplant I received was brilliant and the Sydney clinic and staff were amazing, The issue is Gro as an company and there flat out scam of an medication service is ridiculous medication that is $26 an month at any pharmacy they want to charge you over $240 for 3 months absolute scam and they won’t give you an external script unless you pay $150 even when you have spent 12k with them less then 10 months ago,Emailed Support and the Clinic and received no response It has honestly made my experience pretty poor and wishing I would have gone with an competitor, I would not recommend gro as an big part of it is the medication side post hair transplant which gro clinic don’t have the best intentions in mind.

The company is useless. Weeks to get an appointment, takes them even longer to ship your order. Money hungry company

From the very first meeting with the consultant, professionalism, attention to detail, and focus on the client's specific needs emerged, always accompanied by extreme kindness and understanding. After agreeing on all aspects of the journey we were about to undertake, the day of the procedure arrived at the clinic in Sydney, where an exceptional team works under the leadership of Dr. Adam Cho. The day was challenging for both the team and the patient, but it was pleasantly spent, supported by the common goal of achieving the best possible outcome, which Dr. Adam's expertise and the rest of the operational team guarantee 100%. Despite my age (66 years), which could have been a deterrent in deciding to embark on this journey, my only regret is not having done it sooner. A bow (as a sign of gratitude and respect) to Dr. Adam and the wonderful ladies around him, who made this experience exceptional and unforgettable.

Initial Experience:
I had a sensational experience at Gro Brisbane clinic. The staff were friendly, fun, and went the extra mile, even after a 16-hour procedure. I was already so impressed with the outcome of my hair transplant, which involved an incredible 21,792 grafts being harvested and transplanted in one day.

I would recommend Gro Clinic to anyone considering a hair transplant. Dr. Ruk and his team are highly skilled and experienced, and they take great care to ensure that their patients are comfortable and satisfied with the results.

My Honest Gro Clinics Review: One Year Later
Around a year ago, I had a hair transplant at Gro Clinics in Brisbane.

Here's an overview of my experience:
The Good Stuff:

Dedicated Team: Dr. Ruk and the crew were absolute champs. They worked tirelessly during the 16-hour procedure and kept things friendly and reassuring.

Initial Expectations: Gro Clinics promised natural results, which got me on board initially.

The Reality Check:
Sparse Results: Unfortunately, after a year, the transplanted area is still patchy. The density isn't what I hoped for, and it's noticeable.

Transparency Matters: If Gro Clinics had been more upfront about possible outcomes, I might've thought twice about dropping $20k. Now, I find myself using anything I can to cover/hide the hair I paid $20k for, which puts me in a state of anxiety and low self-esteem.

Upcoming Follow-Up:
My yearly checkup is coming up, so I will continue to update as things change.

UPDATE:
After finally hearing from them, I scheduled a meeting and was seen by Simon at the Brisbane clinic. They agreed that the procedure was not as promised and that a second procedure would be needed at no cost to me. That sounded great... but that was in October. Since then, I've emailed them 5+ times with absolutely poor correspondence. Emails were returned saying, "I'll pass that onto Simon for him to contact you"—he didn't.
Only after calling multiple times do I finally receive a response from Simon saying they won't do it. If I want another procedure, I need to pay for it. DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY!! They're friendly and accommodating until they have your money. After that, you mean sh*t to them. I cannot express the extreme regret I have for giving these people $20k. I wish nothing but the worst for them and can only spread the word to help others stay away.

Don't give these people your hard earned money.

A considered, objective, and balanced approach was incredibly well executed by the exceptional talents of Dr. Adam Cho and his clinical staff who supported me at a sensitive time of need - and on a Saturday with very limited notice!

What needs to be truly acknowledged and commended, is the methodical detail, accuracy, and what felt like a minimally invasive procedure, that Dr. Adam Cho performed. A true master at his craft!

Ongoing medical treatment to support post-operative care is something I would highly encourage patients to consider - given this will give them the very best chance of ongoing success.

Gro's customer care is terrible.
After receiving an email for a Black Friday Sale, I decided to take them up on some discounted products.
An advertised price for a package in the email was not reflected on the website. I contacted Gro to get help with ordering the product at this advertised price. They couldn't solve the issue for me on the first phone call and was told they'd look into it further and call me back in an hour. There was no call back. I tried contacting them again later that day, but received no response.
Monday morning they call, now the issue is the sale was only for Friday and that's why I can't receive the promotion price. I tried explaining I was wanting to order on the Friday, needed assistance with doing so, told I'd get that assistance in a call back, but never got the assistance as no one ended up calling back even after my follow up request later that same day.
A failure on their end and the only assistance I get on the Monday is, you missed the promotion and we won't be selling at that price now.
The lady I spoke to was also quite rude, she talked over me and kept on telling me, no one else had issues getting the deals on Friday so I don't see the issue?
Fantastic for them, but I had an issue, I asked for assistance and customer care just didn't provide it and by the way they talk to you, couldn't care less either.

Buy your haircare stuff somewhere else, it's not worth having to deal with their customer care if you need assistance with an order.

Gro botched my hairline with massive 10+ hair clumps that look like teeth on my hairline.
They have blocked my google review and the pictures of their botched job.
They have also blocked me from posting pictures of their dodgy work on social media.
Gro will not refund or fix the botched job in Perth. Their guarantee is worthless.

I will be going to EVOLVED hair to get my hair fixed.

I am compelled to share my deeply disappointing experience with Gro - Perth Clinic, which has left me profoundly dissatisfied.

My journey with Gro - Perth Clinic began with enticing promises of hair restoration and renewed confidence. However, what followed was a series of letdowns and failures that I cannot overlook.

Right from the start, individuals associated with Gro, such as Mr. Rehan Alikhan, Mr. Tim Williams, and Ms. Kalaiselvi Ganesh, misrepresented themselves with titles like "Hair Growth Specialist" and "Doctor," despite lacking the necessary medical qualifications. This deceit undermines trust in the clinic's services and jeopardises patient safety.

Furthermore, the rushed consent process prior to the procedure left me inadequately informed about associated risks and alternative treatments. Dr. TJ Tan, who performed the procedure, was introduced to me only on the day of treatment, depriving me of any meaningful consultation. And disappointingly, he was absent from follow-up review appointments to assess his work.

Despite assurances of success and a hefty financial investment of $22,700, the promised results of the hair transplant procedure did not materialize, leaving me physically discomforted and distressed.

Additionally, the clinic's failure to disclose critical risks associated with prescribed medications, such as Finasteride and Minoxidil, highlights their disregard for patient welfare and informed consent.

Following my expression of dissatisfaction, Gro - Perth Clinic displayed a shocking lack of accountability and follow-up care, failing to address my concerns in a timely manner.

Despite lodging a formal complaint seeking a refund, Gro - Perth Clinic has failed to acknowledge or rectify the situation, compounding my frustration and disillusionment.

In conclusion, I strongly advise prospective patients to exercise extreme caution when considering Gro - Perth Clinic for hair loss treatment. My experience serves as a stark reminder of the importance of thorough research and scrutiny when entrusting one's health to so-called "Hair Growth Specialists."

This whole experience has been a joy. Very informative, detailed, caring and effective - it’s exactly how a process like this should be. I really loved the aftercare and the results! Would do it again.

From start to finish my entire experience was incredible! AP was amazing and got me in at such short notice, worked over time including on the weekend and his birthday just to make sure everything went smoothly for me! The day itself the staff were so sweet and caring, they made me feel so comfortable from the moment I walked in! Dee put me at ease straight up when it came to the most nerve racking part for myself which was the head shave and I couldn’t be more appreciative of her kindness and compassion! I had the pleasure of 4 other nurses throughout the procedure named (I hope these names are right) Minh, Jahn, Astha & Noah! They were an absolute pleasure throughout the whole day and really made the vibes comfortable when Dee wasn’t there! My doctor Cedric was absolutely amazing, so professional, so precise, kind and all round amazing! I couldn’t be happier with how the procedure went and lastly I’d like to thank Diana for coming in throughout checking in and doing her magic! This was one of the best experiences and couldn’t recommend this more! As a 25 year old that has been insecure about my hairline since I was in my early teens I kept pushing this off and putting it on the back burner and ever since putting in my expression of interest AP was super consistent with trying to get me the help and without him I can’t be more appreciative! I had a really great experience at gro from the initial consultation, through to the procedure and post care with the nurses. Everyone was very warm and welcoming and 3 weeks post procedure I'm happy with the results so far. They are definitely worth going to see if you're looking at having something done.

Through my interactions via phone and email it was established that I would not be a suitable candidate for this process. Whilst that has been disappointing for me I have been very happy with the contact I have had with Gro Clinic Melbourne and Bianca in particular. Phone calls were answered quickly and all communication was prompt and professional. I felt I was treated with respect and empathy and an indication that they recognised the particular sensitivity for female clients. I never felt I was being pitched a hard sell. In fact I found them very cautious and clear abut what could be expected and very thorough in obtaining relevant and specific information from me to enable them to do a sound assessment that I feel was focussed on what they could provide me as an individual rather than promising I could fit into a one-size-fits-all box. The end result was that I was advised that while I could proceed with the procedure it would be difficult because of a pre-existing medical condition and that the likelihood of a positive outcome would be low. I felt this refreshingly honest as they were losing a customer as a result. I also found them to be very sensitive to how a woman might be impacted by hair loss and by the steps taken in applying the procedure. There was even advice offered on what other options I might want to consider outside of Gro clinic. I felt a measure of trust has been developed in this company, consistent with other reviews I have read. I encourage anyone who is thinking of this option to make that phone call.

I booked a procedure that was done 6 months after making the booking. In that time I was well informed and supported from the team at Gro. Any questions I had were answered quickly…also having other Gro patients to follow on Socials / Insta was a great way for me to get prepared mentally. I felt comfortable and prepared for what I was about to go thru and everything has happened as I thought it would and has been a positive experience so far. I am very happy with the procedure that was done by Dr Ruk and the team at Gro in Brisbane. I am currently 8 days post Opp and everything is going according to plan. I am happy I decided to go ahead with a hair transplant and would recommend Dr Ruk and the Gro team anytime. Now I have to trust the process of what is to come. Again with the ability to follow previous patients journeys I can have peace of mind in the process and I know what to expect etc. Of coarse each patient may be different but it’s so far so good for me. Looking forward to the rest of the journey.

I had 2 procedures with Gro in Melbourne as the first was very different to what I had explained I wanted and literally a big gap was left in the middle. This was partially rectified but if I always said that I wasn't too bothered about having a great hairline but more having a realistic and lasting look. To be honest I don't think with my hair type and family history I was ever really suitable - but anyway. I now have alot of thinning hair behind the new hair put at the front which is noticeable if I don't do my hair in a certain way. not ideal. Yes it looks better than it did, but when you're spending the sums that are quoted here (which will always end up higher if you opt for the additional hairs on the day...) you expect world class results.
Having said this the team were very helpful and I generally couldn't fault them aside from when they tried to charge me for part of the 2nd procedure, or when clearly my directions and end goal was ignored for the first procedure.
