Grubby Avis 

I was much older before becoming a vegetarian. Tried other companies, and enjoyed them. However Grubby addressed my needs as new to veggie community. Their meals are suitable for all ranges of vegan vegetarian experience. As we were new, we were looking for simple clean vegetarian/vegan meals, we found it with Grubby. They have an extensive menu, not just paired back meals. Honestly, I love them. No waste, delicious food, and a man that came kicking and screaming to the vegetarian table, now smiles.

Best food box, for vegans I have ever had, easy to cook and do tasty and very filling 😋

I've tried so many of these meal box plans and most of them are either;
1. Not appropriate for people following a plant based diet or...
2. Come with really limited choices.

So when we found GRUBBY I was absolutely blown away, not only are all of their recipes plant based they are also extremely delicious with great choices. They also use high quality ingredients that I would typically buy when we do a regular food shop. 10/10 would recommend to anyone looking for a meal subscription, especially if you're vegan.

My hubby reluctantly agreed to trying Grubby twice a week. As a true Northerner, he loves his pies and meat, but to placate me we signed up for two meals a week. Well surprise surprise, he has enjoyed every meal and the latest Curried Lentil and veg soup he described as blooming lovely! Keep the recipes coming, would highly recommend to any meat lovers out there to give it a try. Great choice, great flavours.

Such repetitive recipes

Grubby is great! Lots of choices each week, great selection of cuisines and really tasty food. Generous portions too!

I highly recommend Grubby to everyone, vegan or not. Their customer service is worth mentioning too, there have only been a couple of occasions when I have needed assistance and its been offered quickly and pleasantly.

Love the recipes, great choice good portions. Vegetables however are in port condition

I signed up to grubby for roughly a month and their meals are amazing, I'm still cooking the recipes now. The ingredients are fresh and of good quality and the meals are really easy to follow, maximum taste with no cooking skill level required! Naturally I can't afford to do meal boxes indefinitely but I will definitely re enter the work of grubby and test out some new recipes in the near future. Thanks from a very happy vegan :)

I’ve tried a few meal kits of the years . Grubby is by far the best . They have good portions and the ingredients are of high quality. When you have many plates to spin in life grubby gives you a chance to make one less decision!

Delivery did not show up (said they tried but they didn’t I was home),email said delivery today. Just checked tracking and no says cancelled?
I emailed Grubby yesterday to complain and ask for update. No response.
I now need a refund for the delivery that was not made and apparently is now cancelled.

The times are all lies. I have never had a Grubby meal’s timings even get close to the reality. I’ve had some fairly bad produce (overly stringy ginger and black bits in the potatoes) balanced against some really high quality ingredients. On the up side, I like the bag per meal system, and many of the meals are delicious.

Ordered 15 different meals (2 of the same one to get 16 for delivery) for convenience as an NHS worker and was very happy to support a business offering such good vegan options, despite it being quite pricey for what is on offer. Unfortunately they sent 12 meals, 4 of which were the same. I had no prior correspondence of any issues with the order (such as an email to advise me of out of stock meals or missing meals) to let me know what to expect when I received my box. The one star is for them resolving the issue - although I’m not entirely sure I’m happy with the resolution. I won’t be using them again, first and last time I try Grubby.

By far my favourite meal pre box. This does not feel plant based and a great way to eat less meat. Ingredients are amazing quality and there is so much choice.

Good service. Food is clearly marked with amounts of fibre, protein etc, as different meals vary.
What’s not to like?

I am quite surprised people are prepared to pay so much money for pretty simple recipes you can make yourself at a fraction of the cost. It was ok but i wouldnt get it again, just buy a veg box and store your cupboards with spices...

I"m not vegan but wanted to eat more healthily. I'm loving the recipes, it's restaurant quality food, but it feels really good to have cooked it yourself. It took me a couple of weeks to get used to proper cooking, and at first it took me longer than suggested, but I've sped up now. I've noticed we have less waste, I used to wander round the supermarket picking things up in the vague hope that I could turn them into a meal, then we wouldnt use it all. We used to throw away most of a bunch of spring onions every week, but the Grubby meals come with just one spring onion if you need it. I'm also learning new recipes, I hadn't cooked Mexican food from scratch before but now I can and the recipe cards are good quality, they expect you to keep them and reuse the recipes. I don't know if Im imagining it, but I'm feeling healthier or maybe just more smug!

Excellent and delicious food options. The app and website are great, customer service is always top notch.

The little details are great too, like displaying the time to cook and calories on the meal selection is very handy.
