Grubby Avis 

We’ve been getting weekly grubby boxes for years now. We started getting them when we became vegan and it helped us out a lot. We still get them now even though we’re not vegan anymore because the food is good, the choice of recipes is great and they’re so convenient. Unlike other recipe box companies that we’ve had bad experiences with, Grubby customer service is excellent. You can email a real person and get a quick and helpful response. They always put things right if anything goes wrong. We intend to keep getting them indefinitely. Can highly recommend for vegans and non vegans alike!

My family, including my 2 non-vegan sons are thoroughly enjoying all of the Grubby meals. There is a great variety and everything we have had to date has been delicious. The customer service is also excellent.

We love the wide selection of meals offered by Grubby; also, the clear, printed instructions. On rare occasions, some of the fresh veg has wilted a bit and we always remove items such as avocado, onions, potatoes before storing in the fridge. It's also easy to skip a delivery when we know we're away from home.

We also like that we can experiment with new meals with just the right amount of ingredients, rather than being stuck with some items we might not use again.

Well priced and great variety (I rarely order something I've had before and I've ordered 20 boxes)

I recently signed up to unlimited delivery which makes it even more cost effective

Love seeing the macros against each meal so I can pick mostly healthy and some naughty options

Great variety and quality of meals. On the whole they are things we wouldn't have thought to make ourselves - there has only very rarely been things that were just available at the supermarket such as the kievs.
Food is fresh, bery rarely anything missing, really simple to make and tastes amazing

Grubby has variety, good flavour and arrives in good condition ( even in the recent heat wave) very impressive and helped by good courier DPD.
I look forward to choosing my dinner every night.

Lily is incredibly helpful, friendly, professional and efficient. Lovely tasting meals. Better than buying a takeaway as you can eat healthy meals with lots of vegetables and can add fish to them if, like me, you are Pescatarian. Fast delivery and easy to choose your recipes from a large selection.

I get a grubby box once a month and have done for over 2 years. The selection of recipes are fab and forever changing.colabs are great too. I love how you can filter recipes exactly to what you're looking for, i.e. high protein. If you do get any rare issues with your box,whether delivery or ingredient, replies and resolutions are dealt with in a speedy manner. Couldnt recommend them enough.

Fantastic meals. All of them are exceptionally tasty. I have tried other services e.g hello fresh/ gousto and this is a cut above. If I have had any issues the team are quick to resolve them. Highly recommend. I just wish they were a little easier on the budget!

We've been using Grubby now for a few years on and off, and consistently for a year since I started a new job which meant time for meal planning/ food shopping was limited. The quality of food is fantastic, the meals are varied, and the customer service is exceptional. I'm vegan and my partner isn't and we both love the meals.

On the rare occasion we've had an issue with an order (eg issues with courier, missing ingredient - all things which are bound to happen once in a while!) I've received a response from a real human, typically within a couple of hours, resolving the problem.

Up to now finding excellent ( been with them for three deliveries so far) Food is delicious, easy to prepare and no waste which I love. I like everything about this company and for every box I buy a child in poverty receives a meal. This company speaks volumes in recyclable products and environmentally savvy.

I have enjoyed receiving,cooking and eating the meals that I have chosen. However, the last order I received I had not ordered and was ordered for me. I made one of the meals last night. I wasn't a fan. But also disappointed that I had paid for that. Also two other meals have ingredients that I do not like, so not sure how that will work. Whilst I appreciate that you have to get your orders in, maybe don't make an order? Or have a no list of ingredients for customers to update?

I love the food I have chosen so far. The only negative comment would be that my box doesn’t get delivered until 6-7 pm on a Monday evening. It has already left the site two days earlier so that is three days in transit. Saying that the produce has so far been fresh and tasty and hope this will not change.

Really tasty recipes, easy to follow instructions, excellent value for money.

Wow! Me and my partner are vegetarian, and was finding the other subscription services very limiting to what we could order weekly. One quick google search is how i found Grubby..

Although we are vegetarian, the vegan options Grubby have are ten times more up our street than the veggie ones offered elsewhere! And WOW! Truly the most tasty meals I have ever had have come from Grubby. You would not ever know that they were vegan, even the Mac and Cheese we had which can sometimes be a big give away!

There has been a couple of times that something from my boxes have been missing, but both times I have got almost instant replies from the customer support team who sorted this for me immediately.

Me and my partner are i would say 80% vegan, 20% veggie now because of Grubby. I think it has opened our eyes a lot to the Vegan world and how delicious it really can be.

Vegetables arrive either wilted or in poor condition… was unable to use spinach and coriander and similar herbs … cauliflower stem in bit of mess
Freezable portions are miserably small not enough for an adult … condiment portion ingredients not listed and very small portions

As a vegan I have struggled to get decent subscription boxes. Grubby is perfect. It's fully vegan, the recipes are amazing and there is zero waste. I love these boxes and will continue to use as have never found another one to match in quality. The ready meals are lovely too but they are a bit too pricey for me. Highly recommended.

Grubby has a been a bit of a life-saver during busy travel periods, where shopping and cooking would have taken up too much time.

The meals are tasty and healthy.

The service I received from Lily has been exceptional, especially after a late delivery meant my meals had defrosted. Lily arranged for another box to be sent out to me, and offered me a refund on the original box.

I can't recommend them enough.

I tried the ready meals as a form of meal prep, whilst the concept is good and I appreciated not using huge amount of plastic the meals were nearly all defrosted as the one small ice pack did nothing to keep the meals frozen.

Sadly, the meals were all bland and watery and I am currently struggling to eat them/get through them. Would not order again.
