The product arrived promptly and early. But there is a notable difference between the photo of the jeans on the site and the real product: the laser treatment is too obvious for my personal tastes. For this reason I made them; not for the product which remains excellent. From what I have learned Returns regularly take weeks to be refunded, I hope this is not the case.
Worst customer service in the world
Lost bag, products never received. Customer service completely useless. Whatsapp channel responds with unnecessary automatic messages people don't even read what I write and only waste time I activated to cancel the payment. I won't buy anything anymore
Returns are a joke
I love GStar products and have been buying them for the best part of 30 years.
The buying process is fine, usually only takes a few days to come from Europe.... so why do returns take so long??
Returns regularly take weeks to refund, my last time it was over a month. Sometimes this involves £100s so it just isn't good enough.
Get a UK hub for returns and deal with them there!!! Until then I won't be using online again
I have bought Gstar jeans for years
I have bought Gstar jeans for years. They really let me down this time, I purchased a pair of jeans, dispatched and they they had not put my address on the packaging properly. It didn't even get to me, with no explanation!!!! so they had made that decision to return it to sender without even getting in touch with me to find out the right address!! I had to call them to find out why, no sorry or offer of some sort of compensation.
The annoying thing is, they had used the same company to deliver to my address to day before. Poor customer service, your standards have slipped massively.

Perfect jeans for ma booty, expensive but worth it. I recommend gstar for anybody looking for jeans that will last the a long time. Washed and worn many times, they havent shrunk - still brand new

I really don't know what is going on…
I really don't know what is going on with Gstar. Every time I return something I have to chase the refund and they never deliver on their promise to refund within 10 days. The standard response on the phone (if by some miracle you get connected) or on the chat is "the parcel is still in transit to our warehouse" so when I provide the tracking showing that it was delivered 3 weeks ago it all goes quiet. Really feels like stalling tactics. Love the clothes but the quality of the returns process and customer service is appalling. I said I wouldn't use Gstar again after the last pantomime of trying to get a refund. This time I am calling it day with them. Life is too short to spend it on unhelpful chats (once you prove the tracking shows it has been returned they stop chatting!) or phone calls that you suddenly get disconnected from.

Clothing completely wrong sizing, one item also badly marked. They acknowledged receipt of returns by email and confirmed I would receive a refund within 10 days , still waiting 3 weeks later.. shambolic and pathetic company
Another set of products that don't fit…
Another set of products that don't fit and are missed described. They have changed the website after ordering form a combined linked website free returns to charged returns. I read the returns Policy before purchasing (because you never know what will fit because of their inconsistent sizing.) They have changed it. In addition to now free returns they now want a return £5 admin fee too.
A very greedy self serving company no regard for their customers....They also have have know regard for the sale of goods act and online buying rules.
If you must buy their products buy form the store at least you know it will fit.
Prefect customer recovery.
I ordered something just after brexit and my parcel 'disappeared'. I had some trouble contacting customer service but I'm pretty sure they were just under the hammer trying to get everything sorted out.
Anyway, perfect customer recovery, they explained what had happened, apologised and then gave me a refund and a % off voucher for my next shop. It was a difficult time for almost all retailers for eu / uk orders but gstar owned the issue and did what they could to make it better.

Hopeless,rude & shambolic company with serious supply chain problems. If you're in the UK don't bother ordering anything, they can't get it to you. Ive been trying to buy a pair of jeans since 7th Jan and they can't manage to fulfil the order. Customer services are rude and inefficient, the guy I got left the line open and I could hear him saying F--k you repeatedly after he gave up trying to do anything about my missing order and thought I'd hung up. I could go on with the litany of poor customer service examples. They always have had poor customer service, but now they re even worse and blame Brexit and covid instead of owning up to their own lack of dilligence.

Customer support put the phone down on me regarding my complaint twice 13th January 2022 at 18:31 and 18:47 GMT. Rude staff! This place is a joke, never shopping here again. Theyve robbed me and i will never see my hard earned money again. Warning to all do not shop here! In the Netherlands, i dont believe they have a proper customer service treat your customer fairly process nor do they have trading standards like they do in the UK. It is what i experienced a highly unregulated so dont expect to come first as Gstar dont value their customers like other Brands nor do they have any corporate social responsibility or ethical accountabilty and even cannot be trusted with their laughable auto responses. Their word holds no weight or value. You have been warned. You have lost a loyal customer(not that they even care). Makes me angry, frustrated and annoyed just thinking about my experience here. Never again!

The company runs a “.co.uk” website, yet sends its goods from Germany and charges you for the pleasure of returning the goods that aren’t the size in the description.
My advice is, if you want cheap clothing at really expensive prices, go to their shops.

Faulty coat not fit for purpose
I bought my son a whistler coat at the end of last year. Since then the pocket has come away from the main part of the coat. I rang customer services who asked for photographs of the faulty coat and they have sent me a returns label to AMSTERDAM! and the carrier is UPS renowned for it’s poor service. A refund will only be given if the quality control department agree it’s faulty.
I hope this is a warning to anyone thinking of buying an item online from Gstar.

I bought a jacket from the gstar jacket have problem the furr is coming out from jacket i try to chase them for many days they ask for proof of purchase i give it them they ask for faulty item picture i give it them i even send them a video that fur is coming out from jacket after all this i finally get the reply from that they investigate the item so i have the send the item they will investigate the item if they found it faulty then they will give me gift card and the jacket i want they dont have in stock i dont know what i am going to do with gift card thank you so much gstar and thanks to me that i waste all money for nothing i will get the gift card i will not get the same jacket i want just because its their fault the item is faulty
