We only have one aim, to give savers direct access to, or allow trustees, employers and providers to provide tools their pension savers need, to improve their retirement outcomes. Put simply, there are plenty of tools which tell pension savers if they take A each year, earn B returns, their pots will last for C years. For almost everyone these offer no practical help, as nearly everyone has other income or savings to put towards retirement. Included in these are State Pensions, Final Salary pensions, ISA savings and part time work for example. Some of these are taxable, some are not. Our tool is the only fully holistic planning tool that can be used directly by individuals without expert input. Our tool answers the one question pension savers actually want answered, "How do I use everything I have, to get the after tax income I want in retirement?". Guide is a superb tool. The process of planning retirement finances and cash flow is laid out extremely clearly. The interface is very logical and clear requiring enough detail to be realistic without needing too many details. It uses relatively simple assumptions but that is fine given no one knows what will happen in the future. You can download a detailed report with guidance on cash flow year by year. It is also free!
I would like Guiide to offer planning for couples as well as individuals.
Overall I think it is an excellent resource and would recommend it to anyone interested in planning for retirement.

Quite intuitive in the way you input your financial details.
The only negative is that it doesn't allow you to differentiate between diffferent types of investment and savings plans.

Useful site that gives meaningful information but doesn’t work for me as my DB pension allows me to take it from age 50 but for some reason your site won’t allow me to retire then!

Thanks for the review. The FCA require us to use 55 so as to avoid anyone without a protected age like you have from using an age below the minimum pension age.
That means its a bit of a pain for anyone with a protected age.

Very user friendly and not overwhelming with pensions jargon. Well designed and results easy to understand. Also has all the backing information for the results if you want to deep dive beyond the headline numbers.

Excellent full-featured pension planner
I very rarely leave reviews but this product is so much more powerful, flexible and overall useful than any other pension planner I've come across that I had to (re)commend it.
