We only have one aim, to give savers direct access to, or allow trustees, employers and providers to provide tools their pension savers need, to improve their retirement outcomes. Put simply, there are plenty of tools which tell pension savers if they take A each year, earn B returns, their pots will last for C years. For almost everyone these offer no practical help, as nearly everyone has other income or savings to put towards retirement. Included in these are State Pensions, Final Salary pensions, ISA savings and part time work for example. Some of these are taxable, some are not. Our tool is the only fully holistic planning tool that can be used directly by individuals without expert input. Our tool answers the one question pension savers actually want answered, "How do I use everything I have, to get the after tax income I want in retirement?". A very good pension app
A very good app for planning my pension when even my provider couldn't give me an accurate outlook, now I know that I can hang up my gloves a couple of years sooner.

Yes the amount of support most providers give is very lacking, that's why people come to us I suppose.

this site is a really good way to explore how to retire un the UK and when. Great first step to determine what you can do before you discuss with a financial advisor. If you're planning to plan soon then I'd recommend this site a first stop.

I know its taking a long time, but it is literally out of our hands. We need to make sure we do not cross any regulatory boundary if we are able to continue to provide updated features.
That has meant making some changes to the existing journey, testing user understanding, updating post testing, legal reviews etc
This has taken up over a year of time so far.
Our two last blogs explain the issues in more detail.

Sorry it didn't live up to your expectations. Lets look at each point
You can choose whatever retirement date you want between 55 and your state pension age.
You can take pension and stay in work, just add your work income into other income and if its enough to get what you want, it wont draw upon your pensions or savings at all.
On different outlooks, play around with it and print off as many reports as you want.
Not sure what you are looking to do in the first year with the much higher income wanted but if you email me, happy to work out the best way to model it and discuss anything else above.

The basic product is pretty good
The basic product is pretty good, but there are extensions that would naturally fit into the customer journey here that are not provided - eg dealing with a parter, considering inheritance tax, dealing with tax thresholds etc. There is also a question of what does Guiide get out of my data that sits a little uncomfortably

Thanks for the review. To answer your questions.
We are adding partners income and so forth shortly. If you look at our blogs we explain the delays due to regulatory processes.
We project accurate income tax bands (will update for recent extension very shortly).
On Inheritance tax, if you are likely to have to pay inheritance tax you should really be considering taking financial advice given the potential costs involved of getting this wrong.
On data, firstly this seems an odd place to address any concerns on it but am happy to. We do not take personally identifiable data except your email so you can save a plan. We also have to know your date of birth, but feel free to use the first of the month if preferred. We don't ask for any policy details etc, just amounts for our calculations but they are not identifiable.
We send out the odd newsletter on partners, legislative updates, or site changes etc to our 20,000 registered users, we don't pass emails to anyone else for any marketing or other purposes.
Feel free to remove yourself from this list when you receive an email with a one click unsubscribe. We will remove you from it and remove any plan saved so all data is removed. Alternatively just email us and we will remove your plan and all data associated with us.
The latest blog also explains our commercial model which we hope addresses any further concerns.
