Guitar Mastery Method Avis 

Really knowledgable and engaging instructors who I believe sincerely want to improve members' guitar playing. They struggled initially with Zoom meetings but now have really nailed it, the more conventional webinars have always been professional and packed with real insight and information. The enthusiasm of the instructors is infectios.

I am getting older. I saw an article that said that you can fix and protect your brain by doing something different with your mind, and it suggested learning to play an instrument. My family took it to heart and got me a guitar for Father's Day. I got nowhere - even after several books, loads of YouTube, and subscriptions. I am handicapped, I have arthritis, and beyond those and other issues making it painful, I was just not "getting it". Then I found Charlie, Eddie, Mike, and Lexi at GMM. In a single lesson with about 700 other folks, I knew things had changed. Somehow, Charlie made it personal, just for me. I did the Fastlane 66-day challenge, which started with how to sit, how to hold a pick and the explanation that even if you had been playing for 50 years (or 6 months, like me), perhaps you needed to go back to the basics. 66 days later, I was making music for me. Not the stage, not for friends, but I was finally enjoying the sounds that I was making. I was seeing others having epiphany moments after decades of trying. Mostly, I realized that I can do this, just like Charlie said. I am a member for life.

If you are thinking about doing this, stop thinking. Just do it. If I can do it, you can. I am nothing special and I had the cards stacked against me. I just needed to see the path and stop wandering. They will bring the light.

I am transitioning from a cowboy guitarist into a guitar musician thanks to GMM. I really didn't think it was possible to know where all the notes on the fretboard are, or how to even find a starting point to add a bridge or a solo. But thanks to GMM, my playing style, my understanding of the fretboard and my ability to move forward from where I left off has skyrocketed. Thank you. I will never play the same again!

I started learning how to play guitar about 10 years ago. Until I was a part of Guitar Mastery Live 2025(online), I was just in a rut and not really learning anything new. GMM is like the G.O.A.T. When I initially came across them, I knew right away that Charlie & the rest were really eager to help. They were providing value before any financial commitment on my part, and that spoke volumes. More importantly, I realized that they knew how to take me from where I was at to where I wanted to go, if I did the work. Others gave me information, but these guys showed me how to physically move forward with it on the guitar. The amount of lessons available to you on demand is going to meet you whereever you are at, and whatever you need. Each week, there is a live group lesson that is always incredible. These guys teach you in a way that makes you feel like you can do it, and give you the tools. When I started, I really didn't know what to practice, or how, and that got fixed quickly. Now, I have more than enough to keep me busy and moving forward at whatever pace I want! As a member, you get Lick-of-the-Week, by Lexi, all the classes inside, the weekly live class (and reply if needed), you get a community that is supportive and helpful for questions. You can really start from zero, or have been playing around for years. Young, older, no problem. It's a lot of fun and connection in a disconnected world. If you want to learn I highly recommend GMM.

The instructors are the best! The recorded lessons are fantastic, but the live sessions that they have on a regular basis are even better! I have3 been playing at the guitar for nearly 50 years, but I have learned more in the last 2 years than in all the years before. I am absolutely blown away by these folks, and highly recommend them to anyone wanting to finally learn guitar.

Years of lessons, even longer time spent in complete frustration. Sold some of my guitars out of feeling like I couldn't do it. Heard about GMM from a friend, tried it and instantly the self-doubt melted away.

I have learned some much in a short time. All of the instructors are fantastic. I was a beginner, but in 6 months I feel I'm so much further along in my guitar playing.

I have learned how to name all notes and chords. Playing the caged moving up and down the fret board makes some much sense now. Well worth the price folks!! You can retake any courses over and over!!

I have owned a guitar since I was 18. I turn 72 in August.
I've been somewhat lazy on my commitment to learning, though, up until starting with GMM.
Firstly, the Blueprint program, then Fastlane 66, Unlock the Fretboard, the Modes.
Family stuff takes priority but my family also knows that I need to do my lessons. It gives me a mixture of emotions - satisfaction, overwhelmed, sense of achievement, doubt, challenge. A lot of that is addressed in the course, though, so that's helpful.

I came into GuitarMasteryMethod, with some background in playing guitar. I had played for many years but then laid it aside form many years. The experience I have had has been rewarding on several levels. Excellent, insructors who are active in the music business. Incredible courses for all levels of players from novice to professional, many of which are self paced. Very affordable. I truly am grateful for how GMM has excellerated my playing.

Charlie Wallace and his team have come up with dumb downed version of unlocking the fretboard that is far beyond everything else. When you take physiology physics mind training and reinforce of learning thru the eyes first then the hands and next your mind creating brand new happy fun learning experience. Guitar Mastery Method is a great online teaching of playing guitar!!! Charlie and all the other instructors are awesome in explaining what they teach!! So many courses you can choose from with detailed instruction. I highly suggest anyone who wants to learn guitar and theory, this is the place to be!!! The community is always helpful in giving advice on what needs improvement and also a friendly atmosphere. I have learned so much more with GMM than when I had a one-on-one guitar teacher! I've been with them for a few years now and plan on staying! They do so much work behind the scenes to make many good things possible for all of us!!!

GMM was able to get me from playing the Pentatonic scale in one position on the guitar fret board to soloing utilizing the entire fret board and how to make it sound musical. They break it down in easy steps with recorded and live sessions. They have also created a very helpful community of other students who are very helpful.

I have always loved the guitar and wanted to learn to play, but always thought it was for gifted people. Ones that just can naturally play and get it differently than others. I decided to get a guitar, and quickly realized that I was not that gifted person. I went onto YouTube and attempted to learn songs and for a while tried to follow the memorizing techniques they were teaching. I realized that I have the memory of a goldfish, and that wasn’t going to work either so I eventually just quit and went back to doing the things that I loved, including the gym, which training 6 times a week was easy for me. Listening to my favorite metal solos would always bring me back to I want to be good at this so badly, but it’s just way too hard. I had signed up for GMM on just one section of the class and I couldn’t even do 30bpm spiders for a very long time so I quit again. Then came the 66 day challenge last October, and everything changed. Breaking down the mechanics of things I had to learn before I could ever play anything was what I needed. I did the lessons every single day, and just kept improving 1 bpm per day until I was significantly better by the end of the 66 days. Much less string misses, much less buzzing. I still practice the exercises every single day. I continue to get better. I never did think I’d get past the spiders. Then came the learning the fretboard and how it will help me play the solos that I knew I could never memorize. Understanding the fretboard and how it works and how to change keys and learning about major and minor notes and how to use them has been incredibly fun and will eventually have me playing with meaning and someday shredding. I am absolutely obsessed with my guitars now and look forward to getting home and playing and actually sounding musical to a backing track and now knowing where to play per backing track. I have never met, or even spoken to Charlie, Eddie, Lexi and Mike, but I feel like I know them, and I can really feel how much they want to see all succeed. Teaching is truly their calling. I’m so happy that I chose to be part of the VIP program and so look forward to learning more with them. It has been so much fun and I have a place to feel peace and happiness in a fast paced world. I guarantee I will hit all of my goals, as they are giving me all of the tools that are easy to understand. Thank you so much Charlie for the work that you put into this, and for your passion for teaching. It means a lot to me.

I've owned a guitar for years and sometime in 2022/3ish I decided I'm going to learn how to play this damn thing for real. Played every day and never really progressed beyond exercises and some snippets/riffs from songs I like. I've purchased quite a few books (a couple are actually useful) but the information was really not much more than exercises- bits and pieces of theory with no explanation of how to actually use it (that clicked with me anyway). October 2025 I by chance happened across Guitar Mastery Method and their Guitar Fastlane 66 program, a couple weeks late, but hey, let's give it a try. The live community and weekly live sessions made me actually excited about the goal for every day. Then the mind 1 (theory) season came so I joined the GMM VIP club because I wanted to keep the good vibe going. Boom... here's where the broken pieces put together part comes in... alot the "exercises" I was doing are actually part of something bigger, I just didn't realize it. I can't believe how fast it clicked all the sudden. Long story short, I've improved dramatically more in 6 months with GMM than any other material I've tried over the last few years. The whole real time community involvement and support is just something you have to experience. Definitely recommend stopping in and checking it out.
