SCAM ALERT

SCAM ALERT - I ordered a desk on the 25/12/2025. They took the money out $702.27 the same day. It is 16/04/2026 and I have not received anything. I have left 100's of messages, emails and voice mails.
DO not buy form them - they are liars and scammers

TOTAL SCAM DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS BUSINESS

I have been scammed like everyone else. Similar situation to other stories. Placed an order on the 25th of January for a tv cabinet, advised it would take 6-7 weeks to dispatch. I sent multiple emails, SMS messages and attempted to call with no response. They sent one SMS stating the order was still in the shipping container and hasn’t arrived in Melbourne yet. It has now been over 10 weeks. Absolutely furious with this company, terrible. Believe this is not a legitimate company and it is a scamming business.

Scam scam scam.

Scam scam scam.
Same as others - placed order in Jan-26 and paid for for chest of drawers/baby change table. No correspondence about when order would be ready. Drove there myself and told it should take 8 weeks. Time passed and called again and told product is not being made, still on back order and offered another product. Said no and cancelled order and same as everyone else here, told the refund is done by someone else but cannot get in touch with anyone. Avoid like the plague this business, if it even is one, is a disgrace.

DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS “COMPANY”, IT’S A SCAM.
Months and months waiting for a 1k Chest of Drawers. Nothing arrived. Intermittent replies to our emails and phone calls with promises of new deliver my dates. Managed to get through on the phone again today - we asked to cancel the order, in which he was happily able to do, BUT was unable to process the refund. States that refunds are arranged by a different department and will take up to 2 weeks to process.
Spare me 🤦🏼‍♀️ Goodbye 💸.
Will be taking this matter to ACCC immediately.
FURIOUS.

Don't waste your time

Wish I had seen all of these negative reviews before placing my order. Order originally placed on 12th of January. Receipt received via email and no correspondence received since. Lead time was supposed to be 6/7 weeks. Contacted seller at 8 weeks and almost 10 weeks with no response. By the looks of all their responses to negative comments, this is the only way to get a reply. Still yet to receive my item or a refund and i'm over it. Im not in the business of giving interest free loans to businesses who don't manage their operations properly. Save your money and your time and shop at reputable stores.

What a terrible company

What a terrible company. I expect they have gone out of business we placed our order in November. We have tried calling them. We have emailed. We have text. We get virtually no response and when we have got a response it was a promise of in another week and another week. Another week. I believe we will not get our product. Do not use this company. They are a disaster.

If I could put no stars I would. Buyer beware you’re getting scammed. Ordered an $800 chest of drawers in December and still haven’t received it. I have been scammed!!! DO NOT buy from this company.

Avoid this company at all costs!!!

Avoid this company at all costs!!!! Please learn from my mistake. Your goods will never arrive and they will refuse to refund your money.

Placed an order in mid November last year. Initially communication was all fine. They said your order has been shipped but it never arrived. When I attempted to follow up and then ask for a full refund I got no response. I escalated the matter to consumer affairs Victoria who agreed the company was at fault. Despite this they’ve also failed to respond to them despite multiple attempts made. I’m now having to take the matter further to VCAT.

"I am another victim" I purchased a TV…

"I am another victim" I purchased a TV stand and a coffee Table, but only the TV stand was delivered, the Coffee Table I was told it was held by customs, I have been waiting for the past 7 months for this coffee table, Hallam Homes they offer me a refund with a bit of compensation for the long delay, the refund never came. Now they are avoiding my emails, text and voice messages. Do not purchase anything from this company or you will become a victim too.

I wish I had seen these reviews before I ordered from them…they kept telling me my order was held up by customs on Melbourne docks, what utter lies… they offered me a refund which I initially didn’t want, I wanted my order. Then I agreed to the refund with another 10% as compensation, then the wait began…..We’ve paid it back to your card, lies, we’ll call our bank to see what the problem is, more lies. I paid over $1000 for my item and I used Afterpay to do it. They then told me they had refunded it to Afterpay, again lies. I contacted Afterpay and explained the situation and they opened a dispute. I was told they had to give them 7 days to respond, I had already given them 3 months…..Meanwhile I contacted my bank and they agreed to investigate, I had numerous text messages from these people all of them lies. A few days ago I received an email from Afterpay saying that the merchant hadn’t responded within the 7 day timeframe and they then refunded my money 😁😁 The upshot is, do not, I repeat do not have anything to do with these people, they are scam artists and I can’t believe that the ACCC hasn’t investigated them. BUYER BEWARE, YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED, AVOID THEM AT ALL COSTS……

Deceptive dishonest business

As per other reviews on here, a faceless deceptive company with no intent of telling truth or actioning what they say the will.
Payment in full, Tracking number for items provided to deceive customer into thinking items have been sent, no products received, promises of a refund, no action undertaken, Paypal refunds "are very complicated" which is not true. Do not engage at all with them.

Scam company

UPDATE: AVOID AVOID AVOID!
3 months in - No item, no refund and still waiting for my update as to where it is. They're ignoring emails, calls and texts. They have now given us 5 fake expected delivery dates. I’ve finally raised this with the ACCC because I haven’t had any luck with the company but currently I have paid in full for an item to a company that has no interest in fulfilling the order.

UPDATE: We have still received no response or assistance from Hallam’s Home Order, despite full payment already being made. Under the Australian Consumer Law, businesses are required to provide goods and services within a reasonable timeframe and not engage in misleading or deceptive conduct. The continued lack of communication raises concerns, and we are now considering escalating this matter to the ACCC if it remains unresolved. We hope to hear from Hallam’s promptly to resolve this.

Extremely disappointed with the lack of communication and support from Hallam’s Home.

We have already paid in full for our order, yet despite multiple attempts to contact them for assistance and updates, we have received no response whatsoever. There has been no acknowledgment, no explanation, and no effort to resolve the situation.

I didn’t expect perfection — just basic customer service and communication, especially after payment has been made. Unfortunately, that hasn’t happened. I’m leaving this review in the hope that someone finally responds and addresses the issue.

Based on our experience, I would not recommend Hallam’s Home.

Scammers do not order from them!

Order arrived damaged and we have been sleeping on the floor since July 2025 waiting for replacement and refunds.

We are still waiting for them to refund us fully and Benny keeps lying about getting our refund. They have also asked us to edit the reviews on google numerous times so they don't get exposed.

Warning!!!! : Do not buy from them

Do Not Purchase

Unfortunately have had a terrible experience. Original order was placed in August 2025, and a refund was requested in early December as the product has still not arrived after 4 months. Have been going back and forth for months with limited responses and promises of a refund that is yet to arrive. At the stage where unfortunately I need to leave a review, but was hoping this could be settled offline.

I have been promised a refund on atleast 3 occasions since November and this has never appeared or proof provided.

Faceless Scammers

Purchased an item (entertainment unit). After a few weeks I made enquiries about the delivery and told it would be sent the following week after arriving in Australia. After a few more empty promises, the item was eventually sent two week after it arrived in Australia. The item consisted of 3 boxes. Eventually only 1 box arrived, damaged. I made further enquiries with both Hallams and the courier. After 2 weeks of debating where the missing boxes were, I begged Hallams to send me the remaining 2 boxes, which arrived also damaged about a week later. When assembling the item, I found 4 missing legs and three missing drawers. I bought it to the attention of Hallams again and was given further empty promises. 10 days later and I’m still awaiting the missing parts and a $145 refund compensation of the delivery mess. I never usually post negative reviews as I know things don’t always don’t go to plan, and I know my experience is a first world problem, but I need an opportunity to vent my debacle. In summary, I would not recommend this business.

UPDATE: I was assured by (B) that the missing items would be sent on 5 Jan and a partial refund of $145 (freight charges). Nothing arrived. It was not sent. Unknown person (Support Team) responded to this review and promised the missing items would be sent on 14 Jan. Nothing arrived. Nothing sent. This business are faceless scammers. I’ve reported my matter to the Victorian Consumer Affairs and suspect the department is well aware of this deceitful business Do your research and do not deal with this business.

Nightmare Experience!!

I placed an on 24 May 2025 for a 1.8m High Gloss White TV Stand/Entertainment Unit L2108X-1 for $400.

Hallams website indicated that the item was in stock but it wasn't and didn't arrive to me until 11 September 2025.

The salesperson indicated that they had quality issues with the product and required modifications from the Chinese manufacturer hence the delay.

Apparently this issue has not been resolved given that the unit was supplied with several damaged parts. Hallams required photos, which were promptly provided. They agreed to sent out replacements.

I had to then follow up on two occasions. The first time I was told that the parts had already been dispatched and that I would receive a confirmation email to notify me that they would arrive on 23rd September. No email or delivery was received.

I rang again on 23rd September and was told by the salesperson that he would check and get back to me. No further contact was received. I followed up again the next day and was told that the parts would be shipped asap.

The replacement parts finally arrived on 30th September and the first item out of the carton was broken in half. That was it for me, so I packed up the unit and requested that Hallams take the whole thing back and issue a refund. They agreed via email.

The unit arrived back in Hallams warehouse on 7th October (confirmed by email) and dispute repeated follow up calls and assurances that the refund would be issued within 2-3 business days it has not been received.

I have now opened a dispute with PayPal.

This company has been nothing short of a nightmare to deal with.

Definitely NOT recommended 👎👎
