Could not think of a company I would…

Could not think of a company I would want to avoid more than Hamilton Barnes. Awful communication, execution and management of our project. 0% of the resources showed up on time, and only 1 of the four showed up at all. Our recruiter was contacted at 6:30 am to ask why their people we not there and did receive a return call until 5pm. It was escalated to the recruiters boss, who scheduled a meeting with me to discuss and did not show up for the call. I let them know we would not use them again and please stop contacting myself and my team, they then try to back door around me to my team.

Flakey and not worth the time!

Worked with a recruiter here. He would respond quickly for a couple days and then completely ghost me and flake out. How are y’all supposed to run a recruitment agency if you leave your clients in the dark. I left a couple voicemails checking in and never heard back. I responded to his email and never got a response.

Very enjoyable experience!!

I was contacted by Tom Jones from Hamilton Barnes regarding an open position in IT-Security (my desired position). Tom, not only professionally organized a meeting with the company, but involved himself in consulting, preping for the interview and finalizing the contract.
I would say - hands down the best experience I have had in dealing with a recruiting agency!!
I would like to thank Tom Jones for the enjoyable conversations we had over the period we worked together!!

Professional, good communication, helpful

Hamilton-Barnes, and especially John Tan, is excellent at communicating (e.g. what the next steps in the process are, follow-ups), very personable and helpful. John provided me with check-lists and recommendations on what to prepare for interviews, LinkedIn profiles of interview participants and additionally helped me with a dry-run of my 2nd interview presentation and gave me good feedback which enabled me to polish my pitch prior to the call with the hiring company.

Cold E-Mails; unclear where Info was obtained from

I regularly get unsolicited E-Mails from Hamilton-Barnes to my work e-mail regarding hiring-offers for "Bauleiter". I am not sure where they obtained my Info from but I believe they found my LinkedIn and just deduced my company's work e-mail scheme and started the cold e-mailing.

The unsolicited E-Mails are from:

So far an unpleasant experience. Another recruiter reached out to me, I asked him to clear that security concern of mine before I even want to talk and got ingored after.

A nice way to find a new job

My experience with Hamilton Banres was right from the beginning positive. Their recruiters are friendly and highly motivated to find you a new job. They work together with different companies and arrange jobinterviews withinhin a short period of time so that a standard application is not necesary. Besides the recruiters informed me about the companies themselves and give you deeper insights about which candidate they look for. Furthermore they accompanied me during every single step of the recruitment process. Im very happy that i found my new job thanks to HB!

Extrem unseriös

Extrem unseriös. Ich habe ungefragt Kandidatenvorschläge erhalten, soweit ich weiß, haben wir (zweitgrößtes Telko-Unternehmen in Deutschland) gar keine Verbindung zu dieser Firma. Sobald ein Kandidat bei einer Firma vorgeschlagen worden ist, ist es ihm untersagt, sich eigenständig bei den Firmen zu bewerben; grundsätzlich fair, aber wenn die Firma selbst Profile ungefragt inflationär (ich bin noch nicht einmal im HR tätig) und ohne überhaupt eine geschäftliche Beziehung zu dem Unternehmen zu haben an Firmen verschickt, bleibt den Kandidaten nicht mehr viel Spielraum für eigene Bewerbungen.

However, to ensure there are no future issues, our IT team has implemented a complete block on incoming and outgoing emails from and to your address.
