10/10 experience

I had a great experience working with Hamilton Barnes, specifically Alex North. He made my application to my (now) new role smooth as possible, his communication and transparency is top-notch. He kept me updated along the way, and not once left me guessing what's going on with my application, he is 100% prompt with his follow ups as well which made the process even more efficient.

Harry Clanshaw hält keine Rückmeldungen, der Firma gehts nur drum ein großes Portfolio an Daten zu haben und diese dann teuer den anderen Unternehmen zu verkaufen.

Geht zu ein lokalen Personaldienstleister in eurer Stadt, die Firma ist Schmach.

On your other comments about us only caring about having a large portfolio and selling data at a high price to other companies, we take your concerns about our data practices seriously. Henry Foster von Hamilton Barnes hat sich in mehrfacher Hinsicht unprofessionell verhalten. Die erste Kontaktaufnahme erfolgte auf Deutsch, obwohl er selbst nur gebrochen Englisch spricht. Im Telefonat verhielt er sich von oben herab und arrogant. Er verlangte meinen Lebenslauf, angeblich nur um ihn sich "anzuschauen". Kurz darauf fragte er nochmal nach meinen letzten 3 Beschäftigungen, obwohl diese Informationen im Lebenslauf standen. Ohne meine Zustimmung leitete er meinen Lebenslauf an mindestens 3 Firmen weiter. Als ich mich nicht innerhalb eines Tages zurückgemeldet habe, begann er mich überall zu kontaktieren (Anrufe, LinkedIn, WhatsApp). Er drängte auf einen Rückruf, obwohl ich kein Interesse mehr hatte. Nach meiner Absage reagierte er gar nicht mehr, was zeigt, dass es ihm nur um seine Provision ging. Dieses Verhalten ist absolut inakzeptabel für einen professionellen Recruiter. Es ist verständlich, dass ich in Zukunft jegliche Anfragen von Hamilton Barnes ablehnen werde. Solch eine Firma schadet dem Ruf der gesamten Branche.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. I'm very sorry to hear about your negative experience with our company.

We take all reviews seriously and strive to uphold high standards of professionalism. After looking into your concerns, it seems there may have been some miscommunications on both sides.

Henry shared that he believed he had your consent to share your CV with two companies, not three, and thought you were interested in the roles. We're sorry if this wasn't your understanding. Regarding the language barrier, I apologise if the initial communication in German caused any confusion. All communication including phone calls is tracked and recorded for training purposes and so the phone calls have been listened back to, as the feedback relating to Henry being  ‘arrogant and condescending manner’  is not something we adhere to and need following up. Henry had felt that was a good rapport between them both and the phone call reflects this too, but again it may be that the language barrier caused some miscommunication.

Henry's intention was to support you in your job search, and he reached out multiple times because the client was waiting for your response. We understand this might have felt excessive, and we're sorry if it came across as too much pressure.

It's also not our standard practice to ignore candidates after they express disinterest, and we apologise for not following up with you after you decided not to proceed.

Avoid this company. Avoid recruiter Lauren Stanley. All she and the company did was lie about everything. If they contact you, especially her, hang up!
