Not a great first impression.
Easy to obtain an indicative quote which was helpful but when asking questions in the chat box, there was no engagement and hence no answers :(

Thank you for your feedback which is much appreciated. We do apologise you did not get a response via the live chat facility, we do not use a chatbot and instead our experienced in house sales team respond to any queries. This means on occasion there are no advisors available to respond on the chat i.e. they are all on calls. It is very rare that this occurs and we do apologise that you were not able to speak to somebody via the chat facility.

Reviews on payouts are negative
Need insurance but not buying policy from Total Landlord as the reviews on payouts when necessary are negative -- only reviews without problems seem to be positive ones

I found the website easy to use and the premium very competitive. I like the fact that NRLA members receive a discount. I also spoke to some of the agents on the phone and they were very helpful.
My only regret is that having gone through the quotation process on-line, the final page states that an agent will call back in one working day. I was not able to accept and purchase the policy on-line, the same as with some other insurers, hence 4 stars. It got to near the end of the next day and in the end I had to phone. That was not that easy as having waited I needed to leave a message. But they did call back relatively quickly.
