Good, if you are fortunate to get a call back

Positive comment- took time to give me the best quote. Hence the rating.
Negative - I have been a client for more years than I can remember, with a number of policies. In the last month, it is very difficult and frustrating to speak to anyone. Every time I have to leave a message with a request for a call back. This doesn’t always happen. When it does, it’s not always convenient. Eg in a meeting, driving when I don’t have my files with me. One could always get through and speak to an advisor. Why the change? It’s been so irritating I’m seriously thinking about as a landlord transferring to another insurance company.

When all of our advisors are already on a call with a customer our phone line does go to a messaging service (rather than keep you on hold), if you leave a message we will always aim to call you back the same working day or the following at the latest. We always strive to offer the best possible service and have as many advisors available to take our incoming calls but during extremely busy periods you will reach our messaging service. If you need to speak to someone urgently please note we do have a live chat facility on the website, please feel free to visit this and an advisor can assist or arrange a call for you.

I've given 5 stars for the process of…

I've given 5 stars for the process of organising and purchasing insurance as I haven't got any experience of actually claiming on this policy. I spoke to someone on the phone who took me through the purchase according to my needs. I prefer to speak to a real person and I felt he gave excellent customer service. I was then able to purchase the policy with the click of a button on a link when I actually needed it.

Attempt to get me to pay for uninsured period

I had a period of uninsured liability due to a lapsed policy (17 days) when I went to renew the operative wanted to backdate the policy by 17 days, in effect trying to get me to pay for cover I never had. Apparently this would avoid a gap in cover - bo!!ocks. I insisted I get cover starting from when I paid the premium - painful but got there in the end. It leaves a bitter taste though!!

Thank you for your review. We do offer existing customers the opportunity to avoid a break in their insurance cover depending on how long the payment is overdue by. Some of our customers do prefer us to honour their cover subject to receipt of payment and we are happy to agree this for existing customers. If you prefer to lapse the existing policy and start a fresh one we are more than happy to accommodate this also. Ongoing complaint to have claim sttteled

Since my review and escalation to the complaint department, nothing has happened.
I remind you that this claim has been outstanding for more than 4 month.
I suggest anybody who wishes to get insurance, look at their payout reviews and rating. Service is always good when you're getting a quote. Don't be fooled

Dear Mr Rosen, As you are aware we have escalated your complaint and this is currently being investigated. I can advise that in relation to your claims process and progression as per your request the loss adjusters have been dealing and corresponding directly with your managing agent and had numerous discussions around the development of the claim. Further to our correspondence to you earlier today I have asked the loss adjuster to contact you to provide you with an update and details of the numerous discussions that they have had with your managing agent, Please can I also suggest that if may be beneficial to speak with your management agent to ensure you are also kept informed of their conversations however should you now wish for the loss adjuster to deal directly with yourself please let us know and we can arrange this for you.
