What a complete disaster
What a complete disaster for me having ordered from HAO.
As my order had not arrived, I had to chase the courier to find out where the order was and found out that they had delivered the item to the wrong house in the wrong town.
The courier did recover the item and eventually delivered it to me but when I opened the package part of the garden screening was dented and in other areas, some of the screening slats were clearly broken. I sent photos of the damage to HAO and asked for either a full refund or a replacement on more than one occasion.
During the time of chasing delivery of the item, on one occasion HAO asked me to check next door to see if it had arrived there even though it had been delivered to the wrong address in the wrong town.
I tried to reach a resolution which was time consuming - many emails back and forth and waiting 24 hours each time for a response.
HAO did offer initially a £20 partial refund to keep the faulty item but eventually offered a replacement if I returned the item. Really? I was so fed up with the poor communication, I opted for a £40 refund. HAO will naturally have their version of events that may suit them but my version is correct.
I would definitely not use them again. I suppose if the order arrives undamaged, happy days. But if there is an issue, don't expect a positive experience with their customer service.It was a bad experience for me and I found the communication to be extremely poor.

As soon as this was brought to our attention, we worked with the courier to have the parcel redirected and successfully delivered to the correct address.
Regarding the condition of the item (PVC Garden Fence Privacy Screen), we understand there were some creases reported. In response, we first offered a goodwill partial refund, and when you requested a higher amount, we continued to accommodate your requests.
At no point were you required to return the item, as we aimed to resolve this as quickly and conveniently as possible for you. We also offered alternative resolutions, including a replacement or full refund, should you have preferred.
We’re sorry if our response time did not meet your expectations. We aim to reply within 24 hours, although there may occasionally be slight delays due to weekends or holidays.
We believe we made every effort to resolve this matter in line with your requests, and we’re glad that a resolution was reached.

Brought an item a month ago
Brought an item a month ago, it wasn’t cheap! Never received it and haodirect has never responded to my emails. Evri have contacted me to inform me that the item was damaged in transit and that is why I have not received it, emailed haodirect again and they have still not responded to me. Going to have to raise the issue with trading standards as it’s been 28 days with not response! I do not recommend purchasing from this company.

Great service and product
First off great price, have brought similar units for much higher. Secondly arrived in two days, much quicker than i anticipated. The heater itself is really good quality and was doubled packaged so arrived with no issues.
Another big point for me was the customer service, this was exceptional. Actually having an email conversation with a human being who understood my issue and went way and above of what i expected.
Honestly would highly recommend to everyone.

Good Product & Helpful, Friendly Staff
The product is good and all your staff I comtacted were very helpful. Only problem was I waited in all day for the delivery to arrive on the given day and it arrived the following day. However, the delivery was free.

Faulty product, missing parts but my problem....
Order number DUX052182328 as you won't be able to find someone called yougotasmellywhat....Jokers
Bought a garden swing chair through Debenhams market place.
The product looked as though it had been sent out and returned to several people before it came to me.
Was not machined correctly so could not be assembled and had a leg missing.
H&O requested an image of the missing part ....... And a video showing the product could not be put together. They have said they have not been able to view it. It's had nearly 500 views on YouTube.....
Clearly wants to make life as difficult as possible for customers as they do not want to refund for faulty products.
In my opinion this company is a con so stay well clear. I am more than happy to go through small claims court if I need to. Which will incur legal costs. Plus I enjoy a day out at court, 'Your Honour!'
Avoid this firm at all costs!

Absolutely beautiful lights
Absolutely beautiful lights. Saw them on other website first then searched and found Haodirect. Delivery was free with discount on item for being first time customer and the parcel arrived quickly. The light was packaged very well and looks so nice I ordered a second one. Not sure who the courier was but he delivered them both to my neighbour because I wasn’t home. Fantastic service.

The information sent after ordering was brief and not obvious how to track the delivery. I contacted customer services after a few days and was given the tracking information and told that my package had not been collected from the warehouse by the carrier, which would be contacted to collect and deliver asap. The package arrived very quickly afterwards. I suspect that the carrier already had the pckage but that there was just some confusion in the system.
The item was well packaged and delivered to my door without any issues.
The item, a garden gate was cheap and construction was, lets say, economical with the wood, but having said that, was well constructed with glue and screws and with attention to appearance with small knots teated. Three hinges were included together with gate bolt and all screws. Paper information as well. Quite impressive for such a cheap item. I am going to give 2 coats of wood preservative and paint. It might look quite good

Easy to order, updated all the way from order to delivery. Delivery driver put package right into the hall for me. Chair was easy to build, even by 1 person and well worth the money. Very sturdy. Would recommend.
