Haybrook - Crystal Peaks Estate Agents Avis 

Our experience with Haybrook Crystal Peaks was extremely disappointing.

Our property was marketed with them for around 20 weeks (in which we couldn’t leave once tied in), during which time they arranged just one viewing.

Throughout the process, there was a complete lack of proactive communication, advice and support. Every attempt to generate interest in the property — including reducing the asking price and arranging new photographs — was initiated by us rather than suggested by Haybrook.

Despite repeatedly raising concerns about the lack of viewings, we received no advice on what else could be done to improve interest and no satisfactory explanation as to why more had not been done to attract potential buyers. When we asked for guidance, Mackenzie even asked us what we thought they should be doing differently, which was frustrating given that we were paying for professional expertise and advice. We also found Nicola to be rude and unhelpful when discussing our concerns.

In the end, we moved to Blundells Crystal Peaks and the difference was remarkable. They quickly generated multiple viewings, secured a sale and kept us updated throughout without us having to constantly chase for information. It was a completely different experience and demonstrated the level of service, communication and proactive approach we had expected from the start.

Based on our experience, I would recommend you steer clear Haybrook Crystal Peaks, especially if you live in the Renishaw area and are considering selling with them.

Haybrook, were fantastic, very good communication, kept us up to date. Nothing was too much trouble. Sold our house quickly. Sam and the team are excellent

So I know no one has high hopes for estate agents but I really did not think they would be this unprofessional. I cannot imagine another agency not communicating with each other and be so disorganised as this branch. I called to put an offer in to a house and a gentleman took my details. Yet when my husband followed up with it, apparently I magically didn’t phone/ it didn’t exist.

If you ever have the displeasure to deal with Nicola Siddall please avoid. She only acts in the interest of the vendors and offers no solutions despite buyers being just as valuable in the process as vendors. She is just very rude in general and will badger you.
I guess be aware of all of this if you have to choose these estate agents. Take your business elsewhere otherwise or ask for another agent.

Tried to arrange valuation for my property, first they called on the day to tell us they double booked and have to cancel, rescheduled for later date. Didn’t get confirmation, so burnt by previous episode called them up to double check. Didn’t get straight answers, promised a phone call back. Didn’t call back, chased again and still unable to tell me if rescheduled valuation was booked. Told them to cancel it all. If that’s how they treat the owners or potential buyers I don’t want them anywhere near! Unreliable and very disappointing. Would definitely not recommend!

Edit: Off course they will not recall, as it didn’t happen. Requested valuation on 05/01, booked for 6pm on 08/01/24, no confirmation, no show, last minute phone call explaining it wasn’t in the system and it was overwritten. Re scheduled for Friday 12/01/24 5pm, never got confirmation, chased with a phone call, couldn’t get to the branch, was promised a call back, never happened. Call the next day couldn’t get straight answer, ended up cancelling the whole thing. Informed tenant. Week later got a phone call stating that they showed up regardless of cancellation, couldn’t find the property. Three other agents didn’t have that problem. Utter lies! Also told when spoken to the tenant over the phone, she was weird. Maybe because I told her how incompetent you are and that I’ve cancelled the whole thing… Really?! Get a grip. My review still stands. Not interested in getting to the bottom of this, this experience was enough for me to make up my mind.

From the time i walked into Haybrook crystal peaks i was made very welcome by Nicola Siddall and her colleagues i was kept informed of all the interest in the property concerned right up to the point of sale i cannot praise their professional manner enough

poor service. not a good company to view with, too pushy and force a decision.
the online chat is worthless all you get is call the office.
if a house was listed with haybrook i would just write to the owner without involving them.

Initially had a difficult experience with Haybrook, but once I made my concerns clear they were very proactive in wrangling some subpar conveyancers into action.
