I had a phone call from Lauren Fairweather abut a job and true to form with most recruiters she was pro active in arranging the interview but when i chased an update she just decided to ignore me no update nothing and i know she received my messages as i can see the notification where the texts were read and emails were open disgusting way to treat people this is the second time i have used Hays and as expected both times were dreadful experieces

but lets be honest Hays managmetdont really care

i am fed up with recruiters calling about interviews and not having the decency to provide updates or even reply to emails

Hays recruitment Belfast is hands down the best I’ve worked with. With them not even 6 months and i already got interview which I start my permanent job role in November. Highly recommended!! Also jodie has went over and beyond for me while I was employed with hays . Definitely recommend

Awful, absolutely awful- was approached on LinkedIn by some woman called Caitlin Godfrey, (never approached them) to interview for their company- I took the time to schedule an interview around my own time- in this case was my break time for my current job. Was told I will hear back the next working day, just to not hear anything at all- didn’t think the interview was bad personally, but they were hiding a few answers to questions which seemed dodgy, but either way I would of appreciated some feedback regardless of if I was a fit for the job or not, as you guys were the one who approached me to take advantage of this opportunity, but just ghosted, despite mentioning ghosting as something you lot were against in the interview when discussing recruitment values. Guys please don’t even waste your time, look at the reviews from companies and candidates like myself, whether it is to work under them or to use to help secure a job for another company- the company is deficient as you can see from candidates and clients who have reviewed. Just don’t even bother. Was probably a sign since their flexibility arrangement option they had said they offer which they spoke briefly of before the interview was misleading anyways when mentioned again in the interview and their main focus to get you to management seems pretty much similar to a pyramid scheme, which shows a lack of job security in my opinion.

I dealt with John Macaulay in Belfast and he secured my a great position. He was very professional and listened to my needs and expectations. Would highly recommend Hays.

My 18 year old daughter got invited to attend an assessment day, nearest one from site of actual job in Milton Keynes was Bluewater in Kent, 80 miles away! We did it though as she really wanted the position. Paid fuel, ULEZ, tolls and i lost a days work to take her.
Arrived at Bluewater in good time, address was Hays Travel. Went to the shop as directed, girls in the shop said lots of people had turned up there, yes because they gave the wrong address!
Finally found the correct place we were supposed to be 20 mins later, daughter stressed and upset and after a long drive to be greeted by a rude lady telling us we are late! Give the right info then!
3 weeks later a bog standard thanks but no thanks email!
You were paying less than min wage, we travelled a long way and you dont even have the decency to personalise the no with constructive feedback.
Not a great experience for a young teen and an expensive one for me.

No wonder this shower receive multiple negative reviews. They are inept and uncaring. My partner and his colleague have not been paid. We are having to take legal action. J. Underwood was in constant contact with empty promises until close of business Friday. Nothing! Now closed for the weekend! This company should cease

Tras una selección , y habiendo descartado otros candados de otras empresas, el candidato elegido de Hays, no se incorpora al trabajo. Pierdo este candidato, y los otros dos de las otras empresas. Y lo mas curioso, es que la agente que me atendió, ni me contestaba los correos , ni me atendía al teléfono. Después de tres meses de tiempo me ofrecen uno que no nos convencía. Aceptamos y a los tres meses lo despedimos. Nos quedamos sin candidato, 6 meses perdidos. pero eso si. Ellos han cobrado,. No lo recomiendo a nadie trabajar con Hays

I will follow up with a name that keeps coming up and one would better avoid dealing with it at all costs.

NOT A best to work with. fake promises and will stop your work for any reason to get a cheaper person. especially the kENT department.

An absolute waste of time with this recruitment agency. They never ever got me any job. A useless site.

These guys must be the most inept, unhelpful, unlikeable, clueless bunch of people around. They simply have no clue what they are doing. I was forced to use them by a large organisation and they are horrendous. Why on earth would a company pay Hays to do their recruitment?!!!

Rubbish rubbish and rubbish a complete waste of time and effect signing up to the company. Forever waiting for a response and all round rude people. I particular Dylan, gives out his business card like he owns the company and doesn't even respond when you call or email him. Also very rude! Don't waste your time with these people they sell you a dream. Also 1* is still to high of a rating unfortunately

The website was faulty and did’t let me apply for a role despite the CV format and size being correct. Customer Service were courteous but useless. Radio silence from their IT Department. The relevant specialist consultant was unresponsive to phone calls, emails and even to her own colleagues who passed my messages onto her. Impossible to raise a complaint as they don’t provide an email address for their branch offices (which should be contacted as Step 1 of their complaint process) and, as I said, CS play stupid when you ask for one.

I can not even give 1 star. They are not even responding to email. If they are not planning to recruit why do they need such an organisation? Just post job advertisements and if we apply for the job, never get back to us. Pathetic.

I was recruited for Hayes agency to work in Heathrow by Mandip. I wouldn't recommend the agency at all. Mandip is unproffisional, rude and inconsiderate. He is abusive financially and emotionally.

Don’t bother wasting your time working for this recruiter.

Recruiters are supposed to find you different assignments on a weekly basis, they did not. I was forever chasing them asking for work which they were forever failing to reply to me with an outcome. A message to say what they were doing to find you work suited to your cv or an outcome would have been nice!

Having come from a managerial to senior managerial role.
I was posted on one assignment, they had put me on an assignment which I was completely over qualified for, a junior entry level position working with immature morons who were only there to mess around and not want to work, until reality set in that they would get rid of people if they didn’t tow the line, which most of them didn’t.

Steer clear, because like every recruiter they originally promise you everything but in reality get you nothing!

This goes double for any potential businesses or clients looking to use their services! Don’t! Its cheaper to recruit from within and ultimately you can do your own vetting and get a better candidate!

This review is based purely on my experience as a temporary worker. My contact at Hays, Lily (Swindon) has always been great at communication, which is where a lot of recruitment agencies seem to fall down. Any questions I have (which at the beginning was a lot, as I'm not used to temping) she went out of her way to respond to. The only time I've had a problem is when she was out of the office for a week or so, and I couldn't get hold of anyone to answer a fairly important question.
