The communication in the beginning was…
The communication in the beginning was good, but in the later part was not so good.
The arrangements with the hospital as it regards to housing was not enough, as rhey need to extend the time frame in which international nurses can stay in housing untill they can launch out on their own. The package should include access to motor vehicles so we can be able to move around much better. Also please ensure each nurse knows that they need to get an international driver's license before coming if they intend to drive in the UK as that would help. Lastly help the nurses with relocation packages so they wont feel lost in the system

HCL workforce assisted me through my…
HCL workforce assisted me through my registration with the nmc UK and through the process of visa application, flight booking and travel experience. Great support when processing my…
Great support when processing my registration with NMC from overseas, lovely agents were always there for me each step of the way. But when I got here I didn't get any support settling in, they just left me to the Trust. Would be lovely to be checked on the first year of recruitment.

I am grateful for the opportunity…
I am grateful for the opportunity provided, the process was smooth, my agents were excellent except for a one off with someone that had step in, he was rude but the others were great. They guided me through all d processes without any issues. I have since then referred some of my colleagues to use this program. I took away 1 star because after I arrived at d hospital no one ever check up at least once to query if everything is falling into place.

Great, but can be better
HCL permanent was very helpful in helping me to relocate and start my nursing career in the UK. Everyone I encountered acted professionally and were friendly. They guided me and mediated every process That was required. However, in my opinion I would recommend that they follow up on their clients once they have arrived for at least the first 3 months to ensure they settle in well and everything was going on as agreed, for instance that the trust have fulfilled their end of agreement and that the candidates were given the benefits advertised. I did not receive this follow up from HCL, but asides this, great experience.

Okay
Some agents are very rude. They even promise things that you never see on arrival. There only concern is to get you to their country and collect commission. I only continued because I was quite far into my process when I met this particular agent and I didn't want to start over again. I preferred to see it through and be done. Besides this they are thorough and communicate.
