Healthy Paws Avis 

I used to recommend Healthy paws to everyone I knew that had an animal BUT THAT NOW HAS CHANGED. I understand premiums will go up with aging animals and I was ok with that and expected it. NOW, MY COVERAGE HAS CHANGED JUST WHEN YOU REALLY NEED IT MOST. My deductible went from $250 with 90% coverage to $500 with 70% coverage and no recourse to reinstate what I previously had even with a premium increase... IT IS JUST NOT OFFERED ANYMORE BECAUSE MY ANIMAL IS AGING!!They know that once your animal is older you won't be able to find other insurance so you are at their MERCY!
What used to be company that paid out claims fairly easily and quickly, NOW I HEAR THAT ONCE YOUR NEW HIGHER DEDUCTIBLE IS MET THEY ARE TAKING LONGER TO PAY OUT OR JUST DENYING IT!!!
I just recently met my deductible and now nervous about how my future vet claims will be paid out if at all.

I HAVE BEEN WITH HEALTHY PAWS FOR 10 YEARS AND I REGRET USING THEM AND RECOMMENDING THEM TO OTHERS. AT THIS STAGE OF MY PET'S LIFE, I SHOULDN'T BE NERVOUS ABOUT TAKING THEM TO VET BECAUSE OF COSTS BUT HERE I AM AFTER 10 YEARS OF PAYING FOR INSURANCE TO HAVE PEACE OF MIND AS THEY AGE.

Never received our order, never reply to emails or phone calls about actually sending it.
4th time around someone says they'll send again. then I get an email saying out of stock and refunding.

Sells very short-dated supplements. No reply to email. First order from this company - never again. AVOID!

Great service and speedy delivery. The pate has made a huge difference in the training rewards for our GSD puppy, it has made him focus more as he knows the pate is a real high value treat for him. We will definitely be buying more as his training continues.

The company does not honor their advertised refund policy. I canceled by phone and email within the cancelation period and the company simply refused to issue a refund. The customer service representative I spoke to was rude and did not want to be helpful at all.
I imagine they would unjustly refuse claims as well. All about taking your money and not providing service.

I can't believe the difference on our 13 year old staffy. He was in such a state from allergies he had developed that we thought we were losing him. Healthy paws deliveries are aways delivered within a few days.

My cat Stormy took very ill and needed about $10,000 in surgery. HP paid directly and was prompt and caring. Five stars.

Fast postage , Good quality food , dog in cracking health and good fur

Healthy Paws has been there for our German Shepherd Lacey, whenever she has faced medical challenges. She had to have emergency surgery in 2023, and another emergency surgery in 2024. It was a blessing not to have to worry about the bill, and to not allow the question of "finances" to play a role in either decision. After each procedure, Healthy Paws reached out to check on Lacey and showed true concern for her well being. Highly recommend pet insurance, for peace of mind when you need it most.

As per my previous comment, Healthy Paws is a great complete dry food full of goodness and my Maltese loves it.

Ordered rabbit ears with fur, as was out of stock from where I usually buy. All seemed good, similar price, fast delivery. One evening I took one earlier and gave to my dog only after giving noticed that there was still round plastic tag attached. My dog is death and can not hear commands now so gave me a bit of the fight when I was trying to get the ear from him. Now concerned as sometimes I let him choose his ear from the treat box, what if I haven't noticed the tag. Contacted company and not heard back, seems they don't care.
