They require copies of your medical records
Providers are always looking for medical records and if you don’t have it, they can’t help you even if it’s urgent, like GERD treatment. You’re better off going to urgent care or other platforms that allows you to get examined 1:1 live.

Very fast and reliable
Very fast and reliable. Just used their weight loss program and got weygovy. My insurance covered all but 25 bucks, which was waived with a coupon card

Great service
I’ve been using helloalpha for almost a year now. The nurses are extremely knowledgeable, helpful, fast and efficient. I can literally have medication sent to a pharmacy within an hour of submitting a request without having to worry about making a doctors appointment, going in and waiting. I use helloalpha as my primary care provider and it’s been a great experience. I recommend them to all my friends.

I am certain it is in their fine print…
I am certain it is in their fine print that you read when signing up for this service, but when you aren't feeling well and want resolution, you will agree without reading. I signed up, charged $29 (not a large fee, I understand) asked initial questions and told they cannot proceed with setting online appt as I would need to see an in person Dr. As I only was asked a handful of introductory form questions and didn't use service, I asked if my fee would be refunded. It will not. Very frustrating. Not using again. Felt very impersonal to be denied through a handful of form questions and the company collects money.

They are always there
They are always there, like clock work consistent. I am a very busy business woman, leaving an hour or two to go to the Dr, whom I also do not know is an inconvenience. I do not have to see my PA to know she is there. I love that! Good luck on your journey!

Hidden charges
They make it seem like you're going to be paying $30 for their services. You have to go through a 20 minute questionnaire about mental health after paying the initial 30 dollars, and then to continue they surprise you with an extra 30 dollar charge, with the understanding that you just wasted a bunch of time if you don't pay the additional $30. So it ends up being 60 dollars. I was just trying to find an online service that would refill my prescription, and they don't fill it so it was a waste of time and money that I don't have to spare. They refused to give me a refund. However, they did respond speedily and had pretty good customer service, that's why I have two stars instead of one. I already contacted customer service and they said I can't get a refund.
