I passionately hate buying cars but Heycar couldn't have made the process any easier, The service from Petya was absolutely outstanding continuing to answer emails after the money back guarantee had ended. I bought an MGZS 2019 plate and this is the worst mistake I could ever do very after my six months of warranty pro to Service all four tires needed changing after that they told me my DPF need changing after that they said head gasket is damage after that? The top part of my engine is broken maybe two weeks after my warranty finish I tried to contact the sales team. They block my number and block my email address. I try my best to contact the guy that sold me the vehicle. nothing right now I’m suffering with depression and stress. This car cost me over £8000 in repair and it’s still under repair please everyone before you decide to take the vehicle. Make sure you inspect your vehicle.

Dreadful service - wouldn’t recommend
We were happy with the service initially. However, once we’d paid, communication was dreadful. We had to chase for updates, the car delivery was very slow (took 3 weeks from payment) and miscommunication meant that we missed delivery of the car and when it was finally delivered, it turned up 3 hours late. And no one called or texted to let us know. They’re the easyJet of car selling…you do eventually get to Spain but it’s not a pleasant journey!

What went wrong where do I start bought my car 8th of feb well I hope I have still waiting making excuses saying there were some scuffs on 2 alloy wheels so had to do them and I'm in a que so no ETA on when I'll get it can't get though to them they don't return emails supposed to have £750 cashback about 6 days ago I was told still haven't had it starting to feel like I've been scammed don't know what to do next this is so stressful and scary that I've just lost £18400 don't recomend using this company thinking of going to take legal advice don't know what to do

I was a bit apprehensive buying a car that I hadn’t seen but after an in depth call with Petya I completed my purchase and received my car within a couple of weeks. The service from start to finish was brilliant with updates from Diogo regarding delivery and I received follow up from Petya. I wouldn’t hesitate using Heycar again, they were great!
Room for improvement
This is a genuine review of my experience with HeyCar following my recent purchase of a Citroen EV. Most of the reviews on here seem to either be ridiculously gushing 5 star or scathing 1 star. My experience was smack bang in the middle.
Finding the car on the website and paying my deposit were easy enough. Contact was made the next day by Harkaran where we went through the finer details and I arranged to call back the next day to make the deposit payment. This was all straightforward with the relevant paperwork provided to me promptly. This is where things slowed down.
I made my payment on 30th Jan and then absolutely nothing happened until one week later on 6th Jan when I received confirmation that the payment to the dealer had been initiated. During this 7 days I attempted to chase this up many times, but contacting HeyCar by phone is absolutely impossible. No one answers the phone whatsoever. When selecting an option most times you're just transferred to a voicemail service that doesn't seem to be checked.
I took delivery of the car on 10th Jan which was ok, however due to delays faced by the delivery driver I didn't actually receive the car until after 8pm when it was dark, making any inspection difficult. It turns out the parcel shelf was missing from the vehicle. Luckily, the Citroen dealer have been helpful in getting this resolved and have had one delivered to my address. I say "luckily" because any after-sales service from HeyCar has been completely non-existent. In the two weeks since purchasing the car I've had absolutely no contact from Heycar, not even as much as a courtesy email or phone call to confirm I'd received the vehicle OK or advising me who to contact if I did have any issues. God knows what would've happened if there any more serious problems. It seems that after they've taken the money and provided delivery their interest in the sale ends .
Additionally, the terms of the cashback offer on their website aren't clear. It states that Cashback will be provided 14 days after purchase, but is this purchase date or delivery date? As it's been 25 days now since making payment and no cashback has been received as yet, however it's only been 2 weeks since delivery, so hopefully this will appear in the next few days.

I found the process of buying from Heycar to be a good one. The price I paid was competitive, especially as it included free delivery of the vehicle and £200 cash back. I was kept well informed throughout and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Heycar.
As a first time driver | Update - Hail HeyCar
As a first time driver, I had limited knowledge in what to check before and after buying a car. Since had no one to provide me inputs, I relied on heycar since it is well known in market and deal with cars not less than 8 years. And least to say it was a smooth process for me to find and get the car. Much thanks to Petya Nanova, who has helped me get over my dilemmas and responded with much clarifications. She gave me the confidence to trust as a first time buyer. I did faced few minor issues with car but both Heycar and the original dealer Sonny Adams has kept patience and provided me with right diagnosis and support. This is my first car and I am really satisfied with how my concerns were dealt with and finally closing them. If I ever decide to change my car, heycar will be my go to.
UPDATE (08/04/2025) :-
This need to be mentioned. As I mentioned in my original review that I am a first time driver and it was my first car. The car had issues but I was guaranteed by the original garage that it will never cause problem. But it did in the first 2 months itself. Upon return request based on local inspection that the car is not safe to drive, my request was rejected by the garage. I was clueless because I will still be paying EMIs while the car stays put.
Then heycar took the baton and I must admit, they have gracefully ensured I do not suffer more. They took care of the return and ensured full refund. I am grateful to HEYCAR, specially Emily Ellershaw and Shane McGuire. I will have no questions in going back to HeyCar for my next when I choose to.
Unhappy with Heycar
Got my car delivered today not happy came with one key also a warning light on dashboard, their response is typical expect me to run about for them when the car should not have arrived with a warning light and only one key. Nobody answered the phone today so after sending emails eventually got reply that was highly inappropriate. Would not recommend this company.

Petya and the admin team provided excellent service and feedback throughout the buying process. The delivery process was excellent too. All my questions were answered promptly by email. Definitely recommend them, and it made it so much easier that travelling long distances to the dealer.

Bought Ford Kuga titaniumn edition through heycar, excellent from start to finish , delivered to me within 14 days at a time and day that suited me , also free delivery from Ford's colchester that I have to say we're excellent and 2 weeks later had my £200.00 cashback, brilliant service from all I spoke to , would definitely use again, also very happy with my new car.

Good but with no ownership of the end to end process
The process to buy the car online was relatively simple and communications from heycar were clear.
However, the vehicle delivery was delayed by a day - with the only notice being the morning it was due to be delivered. It was also delivered with a flat front right tire that required immediate attention and a rapid search for a tire shop.
The delivery driver just shrugged his shoulders and said ‘I’m just paid to deliver the vehicle’ and walked off.

Heycar provides terrible service -- they advertise for giving you a quick turnaround, then say that you'll probably get the car in 2 -3 weeks, and for now, almost 3 weeks have passed, and I don't even know when the ETA of the car is and their not responsive to the requests.
You'll have to wait for a long time if you want to get a car from them.
