As new to buying a car online I was unsure of the end to end (E2E) process and unaware of what documents needed signing and timelines. I would say the E2E processes followed by Heycar and the dealership had been clearly defined and followed. I would have no hesitation in buying a car this way again now I am familiar with doing so. I found all contacts were polite and willing to explain / offer advice when asked. The car was delivered without problems and there have been no issues to date.

Very pleased with the service from heycar, real plus was feee delivery plus £200 cash back. The car was 180 miles away so made perfect sense as it was the car I wanted. Was kept informed throughout and arranged a delivery date and time that was convenient. The driver was prompt too!

A reservation fee of £100 was paid to heycar ,as I was considering buying a vehicle from Thurlo nun in Norwich I didn’t buy it & the monies have not been reimbursed, it’s been 3 weeks now Do you ( (Heycar )normally treat all your customers with a 3 week + wait to receive back into there account a deposit. I would expect you to honour your trading by standards by promptly paying customers back what is owed Mr Stafford Norwich

Paid Over £10,000 – Feels Like We’ve Been Scammed!
We paid over £10,000 for a car on the 10th of January, and as of today, we still have no confirmed delivery date. At this point, we feel like we’ve been scammed.
To be fair, the salesperson we dealt with was very good. They were helpful, professional, and clearly explained the process to us. We were advised that the car would take around seven days to be delivered, which seemed reasonable at the time. However, we are now well beyond that timeframe, and the delays have been unacceptable.
It took six days just for Heycar to collect the vehicle from the dealership, and since then, it has been with their mechanics for repairs for the past 10 days—something we were not informed about when purchasing the car. If the vehicle needed repairs, why was this not disclosed before taking our money?
I am extremely worried that we are going to end up with a complete turkey of a car that won’t even run, given the amount of time they are apparently spending repairing it. This inspires absolutely no confidence in the vehicle or Heycar as a company.
Heycar.co.uk promises a hassle-free car-buying experience, but our experience has been the exact opposite. Customer service has been slow, vague, and unhelpful, leaving us with no clear answers about when we will actually receive the car we’ve already paid for. Every update feels like an excuse rather than real progress.
The entire process feels disorganized and misleading. We genuinely fear we may never receive the car or our money back. For a company that claims to offer a reliable service, this has been nothing but a nightmare.
We would strongly advise others to avoid Heycar.co.uk. Until they improve their service, communication, and transparency, we cannot recommend them. Right now, it feels like nothing more than a scam.
We would love for Heycar to prove us wrong, but so far, this has been an incredibly stressful and frustrating ordeal—easily the worst car-buying experience we’ve ever had.

Despite regularly buying products online, purchasing a car in this way wasn't without some apprehension. For a number of days, I viewed the car's portfolio but always failed to place the deposit. Anyway, once doing so, the process proved to be without hassle or concern. Sales consultant, Harkaran kept in touch throughout & his professionalism was reassuring.

Excellent experience from start to end, both with heycar and with the VW dealer in Dumfermline. Karan Gujral at heycar was helpful and communicative, all payments, delivery etc. went through exactly as arranged and the car was just as described and in great condition.

I originally dealt with this company 4 years ago when they were called byacar, which was a great experience then. This time round I dealt with someone Named Karan, Who was in fact very helpful and knowledgeable, always responded to my emails promptly. The whole process took less than a week.
Restored faith in buying a car online !
I previously brought a car online at the beginning of November with another online company which turned out to be a very unpleasant experience. However I thought i would try again with heycar.com.
I was a bit worried at first but I had the lovely Sales Consultant Petya Nanova , who took the time to listen to me and kept in contact with me throughout the sale .
My car was delivered to me as it was over 150 miles away and was driven to me by a very friendly man called Thomas Davies who stayed with me to go through all the car specs and where everything was, it was a very smooth hand over.
Then I had the fantastic Shane McGuire
Senior Aftersales Exec who dealt with any problems I had after I received my car.
The experience from start to finish was very caring and professional I would definitely recommend heycar.com.
