I ordered a pair of shoes and they were not delivered, when I contacted customer support, they were not helpful saying they showed delivered and to contact UPS. Who said it was on Hey dude not them for the claim. Then Hey Dude said it wasnt their problem and if they werent delivered they wouldnt do anything.
Love the product but part of my order was cancelled without explanation. I also tried emailing but received a “mail undeliverable, mailbox is full” from the customer service account. When I called their reason was they are out of stock. No attempt was made by customer service to find a product of the same kind and same price. I will no longer buy direct from them but rather in store purchases from here on out.
If I could rate more stars I would.. I am absolutely speechless. I am so touched. This was such a unexpected blessing. I just knew it was a scam but turns out it was not. Hey Dudes sent me a free pair of shoes. I am so grateful. They were very much appreciated. My grandson starts school soon and times are rough, such a wonderful surprise. Thanks Hey Dudes!! Ya'll are wonderful!!
My initial encounter with Hey Dude, specifically trying to purchase an e-gift card through their website, has been incredibly frustrating and disappointing. What should have been a simple process turned into a series of errors, culminating in a complete lack of customer service resolution.
Here's a breakdown of the issues:
Cart Quantity Glitch: As I proceeded to checkout, the system automatically added a quantity of two to my $50 gift card, despite me only selecting one. When I manually corrected the quantity to one, the cart then updated to show two separate $50 gift cards, each with a quantity of one. I had to manually delete one of these to finally get to a single gift card. This is a significant bug that could easily lead to accidental overspending.
No Order Review: At no point during the entire checkout process was there an opportunity to review the critical details of the e-gift card order. This includes the recipient's email address, the delivery date, or the personalized gift message. This is a fundamental flaw in any e-commerce checkout flow, especially for a digital product like a gift card where accuracy is paramount.
Gift Card Sent to Sender: Unsurprisingly, given the lack of a review step, the gift card was emailed directly to me (the sender) instead of the intended recipient. This completely defeats the purpose of an e-gift card and required immediate intervention.
Unresponsive Customer Service: I immediately reached out to customer service to rectify the issue. Their response was a generic, stock answer stating, "after the order has been placed, it will be processed as quickly and carefully as possible, and unfortunately cannot be cancelled or modified anymore." There was no indication that my specific concern about their website's errors had been reviewed, no attempt to offer a solution, or even an apology for the inconvenience caused by their system's failure. This is unacceptable customer service.
This entire experience has left a very sour taste. A company's website should be intuitive and error-free, and their customer service should be capable of addressing issues, not just dismissing them with canned responses. I would strongly caution anyone considering purchasing an e-gift card from Hey Dude to be aware of these significant problems.
I recently had an extremely disappointing experience with Hey Dude. While browsing their website, I attempted to apply a teacher discount through ID.me, but the discount failed to appear at checkout. Without finalizing the order, I suddenly received a notification that my payment had been processed—without my intention to complete the purchase.
Attempting to rectify the issue, I discovered there was no option to cancel the order on their website. Their customer service chat turned out to be an automated bot, providing no real assistance. When I called their support line, I was shocked to find they operate on UK time, making it difficult for U.S.-based customers to get help. The following morning, after finally reaching an agent, I explained my situation, only to be told there was nothing they could do since the order had already been processed.
I suggested that they contact the shipping company to hold the order, but they refused. When I requested to speak to a supervisor, the representative asked me to explain everything again—only to eventually tell me no supervisors were available. At this point, I realized that Hey Dude lacks proper customer service and does not prioritize customer satisfaction.
I strongly advise caution when shopping with this company. Their support is unresponsive, and they fail to assist with reasonable requests. Based on this experience, I will never make another purchase from them.
ETA: After reaching out to customer support with a more formal complaint, I was able to actually get some help and process a partial refund for the order that was satisfying to me. This should've been their immediate response, but I am glad that when pressed they did listen to me and help me out.
I made a mistake on my order and immediately called customer support. They said they were unable to cancel the order once in was placed and the customer support team was very dismissive of my concerns and said I could send the order back once it was received. I was going to reorder immediately with the correct items but now I will be sending my order back, and I will not be placing another order from them. I'm so disappointed that this is how they treat their customers. I've bought quite a few of their shoes but now I can't enjoy wearing them. I'll be finding another brand to wear.
I purchased 4 pairs of hey dudes all in my favorite colors a week ago from the hey dude website. I absolutely love heydudes they are incredibly comfortable and look great with my leggings!!
This company shows items being instock but when you go to order them the order is immediately cancelled and you have to wait for a refund. If the website knows there isn't stock and can cancel your order why does it show they're available even after my order was cancelled? This is shady and now I have to wait 5-7 business days for a refund you immediately cancelled 2 seconds after the order went through?
I bought shoes for my Granddaughter. BIG Mistake. SO MUCH SPAM, all from either Heydude.com or returnly.com or narvar.com. ALL with noreply@, so you can't reply and get them to take you off the spamming list!! I had to actually build blacklist filters to stop from getting their junk. I wonder how many others they share your info with. Wish I never dealt with them.
