Hobbysew did fine in their product selection and shipping. However, the Rit product dye I purchased was marked camel and has dyed my clothing cocoa or chocolate brown. It looks really bad now. I followed all the instructions except instead of leaving the fabric in the bucket for ‘up to 30 minutes or until the required colour (up to 60 minutes), I removed it after 1 minute when I saw it was making the fabric way too dark… I believe this may be a batch issue with Rit. When I contacted Rit they tried to gaslight me about the packet instructions and blame me for the problem.

The delivery was so quick, cheap and no damage to packaging. Love my new sewing machine. Can definitely recommend this company and sewing machine. Sews beautifully.

I only received half my order. The order took 10 days to arrive. The other two similar orders from other companies arrived in 2-3 days.
Edit - the company admitted fault and have sent replacements.

I just missed my parcel while I was home.I called to explain my situation and they couldn’t help me about it.

My kids got me a gift voucher for my birthday in May. I've tried numerous times to use it but keep getting told it is invalid. I've rung 3 times to find out what the problem is, and was told IT would look into it and get back to me. The last time I rang I was told they would have to get back to my son as he ordered it. The response was, the voucher is good and all the funds still there, I must be entering the number incorrectly. Not very helpful. Not sure what else I can do to resolve this. It is worth $200!!!

The process was so easy. Making my purchase online was quick & simple. My machine arrived within the week.

I ordered a sewing machine 10 days ago, and it's still not being dispatched. They mention that it will take probably another 2 weeks after dispatch. So we don't even know when we're gonna receive the order. So, if you don't want to wait for an unknown period of time, I'd suggest not to use their online order system, because it's extremely slow. You might go to the store instead, although I can't vouch for the customer service there either.
