I bought through Wowcher 2night in Gdańsk for Christmas market. I spent 11 days to try get my money back. The last 4days they are ignoring my emails. Never had that experience it’s like stealing money. They offer was insufficient. First, I would have to pay twice the amount of money for better deal Second, I was losing one day of my holiday because you could not provide flights. Their salespeople even tried to push deals for another country what I did not want. Using AGGRESSIVE sales techniques. Eventually I declined the offer and didn’t redeem. Your company used misleading practices
Under UK law I have right to request a full refund under the 14 day cooling off period. I will report this to Trading Standards and Ombudsman

Bought a mid week trip off WOWCHER to Gdańsk 10-12 December, flights 3 days/2 nights reduced to £79. I’ve bought off WOWCHER for years and had no reason to suspect anything. Unfortunately you have to redeem your voucher before they hit you with a real eye watering reality of your own stupidity for trusting them. HOLIDAYMERCHANT.CO.UK the supplier of the break then tells from an Asian call centre, who clearly do not wish to speak you, that I had bought STANDARD option . The flights provided made it impossible to enjoy the break promised. 1st day land in Poland 23:55hrs leaving 5 minutes of that day left. Then a 3 hour trip to our hotel IF there was transportation available so roughly arriving at our hotel 04:00hrs the next day. Then on the 3rd day our flight was 05:55hrs meaning we needed to be at the airport for 03:55hrs plus the fact it was a 3 hour journey according to the representative. So we’d have to leave approximately 00:55 that day to get to the airport. THIS is their example of a guaranteed 30hrs in the location (NOT THE DESTINATION) in order to get the BETTER flights it was going cost an extra £66 each. More expensive than the original priced holiday £129 reduced to £79.

You are ONLY informed about this once you REDEEM your vouchers. They have taken money and offered me credit as opposed to a refund as the break is still available. I think this practice is morally corrupt. BE WARNED!

I tried to book a simple holiday to Caen with my family but I was nearly scammed by sites increasing the amount at the checkout on two other booking services so I tried here. Hazel has been extremely helpful in organizing it in all means possible. Thanks for the service.

Few months ago I spent 7 beautiful nights in Marrakech thanks to the exceptional services of Holiday Merchant. From the moment we landed, everything was smooth and stress-free. Our riad in the heart of the Medina was beautifully decorated and warmly welcoming. Each day was filled with new adventures, from navigating the lively souks to relaxing in the tranquil Jardin Majorelle.
One evening, we were treated to an authentic Moroccan dinner with live music, which was a true highlight. The day trips to the Atlas Mountains and Sahara Desert were well planned and offered breathtaking views and cultural insights. What stood out most were the personal touches: a welcome gift and a surprise camel ride that made our trip extra special. Holiday Merchant made sure that we had an amazing experience. If you're considering a trip to Marrakech, I highly recommend booking with them for amazing experience and a feeling of money well spent.

Sam was incredibly helpful & helped sort out date changes we needed to make with ease. He was fabulous to work with and we cant wait to enjoy our Lake Garda holiday and if it's as wonderful as we are expecting we will absolutely use Sam for all our trip bookings!

Amazing Thailand Adventure
This is the second time we have used Holiday Merchant and Hazel did not disappoint. We had a rough idea of what we wanted included in our trip to Thailand and Hazel was able to fine tune this to our exact requirements.
Our guide in Bangkok for our many tours was very knowledgeable, helpful and kind. He made the tours interesting and fun. Kanchanaburi and the Float House Hotel were incredible, we wished we had stayed an extra night.
The Elephant Hills camp in the Khao Sok national park was an unforgettable experience. The camp was stunning and all the trips were brilliant.
The Devasom Hotel in Khao Lak, chosen by Hazel, was exceptional and I would highly recommend it to anyone wanting a bit of luxury and to be spoilt. It is situated on a beautiful, almost deserted beach and is very peaceful. The breakfasts here are on another level.
I would highly recommend Holiday Merchant when booking a long haul holiday.

Holiday Merchant provided us with comprehensive advice and support for a 30 day Asian trip of a lifetime to Bali, Japan, Vietnam and Singapore.
Very proactive and responsive throughout our dealings with them and all at a very reasonable price. The 7 flights they booked at Business/economy rates could not be matched anywhere else.
We used their suggested itineraries as inspiration for our trip.
Chris our advisor kept in contact and had huge amount of in depth knowledge and suggestions for us.

Booking with Holiday Merchant. I booked my 4th holiday with Holiday Merchant on Feb 11th. Why four times? Because it has always been exactly what it says on the tin!!! Every holiday has been wonderful. A great part of this is due to the marvelous staff. Especially lovely Natalie who went way out of her way to give me what I asked for. Also wonderful Oscar who recued me stuck in Geneva last summer. Thank you Holiday Merchant

We've just returned from 2 weeks in Tanzania and Zanzibar. It was the happiest and best family holiday we could have imagined. A brilliant culture shock - away from the consumerism of the UK. Immersed in African life, especially the Masai tribe who were incredibly welcoming and open to sharing their lives. Amazing safari experiences across 5 game reserves each one unique and beautiful in its own way and we were lucky to see so many animals including both cheetah and lion cubs.

Zanzibar was another world, we had 1 night in Stone Town which was hot, crowded and very interesting - the slave exhibition, call to prayer, beautiful wooden doors, narrow streets and roof top sundowners. Then we stayed in the north and then east of the island in two beautiful resorts - utter luxury. Thank you Barry at Holiday Merchant
