So I must start off by saying I really never write reviews, but I always read them (I know). When it came to the horrific prospect of packing up our family house ourselves for a very local move, a friends advice to look at booking a packer (which I must admit I didn’t know really existed) led me to Hollins Removals and their 5 star reviews. Within hours of a request for quote for a full packing and moving service, I had a response from Gareth and an in person visit to properly assess the job. His professionalism and kindness led me to think I’m going with this no matter what the quote, and when the quote arrived it seemed good value. Having a young toddler meant I knew that packing in stages across weeks would be a nightmare (she would empty every part filled box multiple times and I would slowly lose my sanity), so Hollins offer of a partial pack the day before the move of all non essentials was great - I literally did nothing until they arrived. When the team arrived the day before, they were all so kind, professional and considerate, and a real asset to the company - such lovely guys and didn’t stop the whole time they were there. On that day too, I also did very little (even watched a film…!), and I knew everything was in safe hands.
On the day of the move the same again; punctual, polite, really hard working and extremely careful with all our things, including protective floor and door coverings.
Gareth and the team made our move honestly really stress free and couldn’t do enough for us. At the other end they moved all boxes to where we needed them and even made the beds (including a lengthy battle with a rather battered cot - thanks Fads), so we knew no matter what state the new house was in we could at least all go to bed.
Honestly, they were brilliant, and it was the best money spent in all the costs of moving. I hope this review helps someone out like the others helped me, because I honestly think I’d be still recovering now (2 weeks later) if we’d have done it ourselves. Fantastic, very professional and considerate on a stressful day

If ever a company deserved a 5 star rating its absolutely Hollins Removals and Storage. Its a big thing in your life, moving home and Gareth and his team make it as stress free as possible. He talks everything through with you, sorts out any logistical issues and just gets it done. I've moved a few times and used a few companies but none were as pleasurable to deal with and as professional as Gareth and his team.
Definitely using them again and wouldn't hesitate in recommending them to anyone who is on the move.

We cannot recommend Hollins Removals & Storage highly enough. From the moment we received our quote….the service has been absolutely excellent.

We had two vans and four members of the team, and they managed to pack up our entire house in just over two hours. Everything was handled with great care, with doors and flooring protected, mattresses wrapped and televisions carefully secured.

Unfortunately, we didn’t receive our keys until around 5 pm on a Friday, but this wasn’t a problem at all for these lads. They got straight to work and unloaded everything efficiently, even going as far as putting boxes into wardrobes and ensuring everything was left in the correct rooms. Nothing was too much trouble!

The whole team was polite, friendly and incredibly hardworking throughout what turned out to be a very long day. Their professionalism and attention to detail was outstanding, and their prices are extremely reasonable for the level of service you receive.

Five stars from us, and we will happily recommend them to all our friends and family.

I cannot praise Hollins Removals highly enough. When my mum broke her arm the day before our Sandbach move, this incredible team immediately stepped up to save the day. They arrived early to take care of the extra packing we suddenly couldn't manage and even provided the extra boxes we needed without any fuss.

To make matters more challenging, moving day fell on a sweltering 32°C day. While we heard that another local company actually refused to work in that weather, the team at Hollins Removals worked relentlessly from start to finish. Despite the grueling heat and the extra workload, every single member of the crew was careful, diligent, hardworking, and couldn't have been more kind and understanding of our difficult situation.

Everything arrived in perfect condition with absolutely zero breakages or lost items. They are hands down the most impressive group of guys, and I wouldn't hesitate for a second to recommend them to anyone. ​My partner Kyla and I recently used this company for our move within Crewe, and we could not be happier with the service. They were the cheapest company we had spoken to, offering a fantastic price that was absolutely worth every penny.
​On moving day, the team arrived right on time as agreed. They were incredibly friendly and an absolute pleasure to chat with throughout the entire process. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Before moving anything, they put down protective matting to safeguard our belongings and the property. They even dismantled our furniture for us.
​Communication was brilliant from start to finish. They spoke with us beforehand about where everything was going in the new house so that they could load the van properly. When we arrived at the new property, they unloaded everything and checked exactly which room each item belonged in. They reassembled all our furniture perfectly, and even when a few items ended up in the wrong room at first, they happily moved them to the right place without any fuss.

The service from Hollins Removals was excellent from start to finish. When I made the first call Gareth responded promptly and provided a quote. There was no requirement for an upfront payment. Once our moving date was confirmed we booked Hollins for the removal who advised they could be flexible if the date had to change. Two days before moving they came and started the packing and were very keen to make sure we still had what we needed in the kitchen for the last few days. On moving day they arrived on time and got on with the job of packing without any issues.
On arriving at our new house they unpacked with the same attention to detail given to the packing up.
At all times the team were polite and courteous and very considerate towards my husband and me.

Gareth and his team handled our house move last Friday, which turned out to be the hottest day of the year! I was so impressed with the service, especially given the horrendous temperatures.

Throughout the entire process, Gareth was extremely responsive, which really helped reduce the stress of moving house.

The service itself was excellent! mattresses were wrapped, items were able to remain in drawers, and they even dismantled my tables and shelving unit, then reassembled them at the other end.

Gareth came to us to assess our requirements in person rather than us attempting to give the total number of boxes on an online form. We could ask him questions as they arose during the appointment. Our exchange and completion/moving date was not confirmed till 6 days beforehand; Gareth just said 'keep in touch!'...whilst we were having kittens. The move day went smoothly. Despite hot temperatures, the team of 4 worked quickly, asking questions to ensure our instructions were carried out and helping us eg when we ran out of boxes for' last minute' items, boxes , paper and parcel tape were given and packing help provided. When unloading started, they ensured all boxes went to the right place - and even assembled our bed frame and made the bed! We hired a van to transport house and garden plants and they helped us unload those too. The whole team were fantastic - we would definitely recommend this firm!

Gareth kept us updated on how the day would go from the start. He dropped off boxes for us and messaged the night before to make sure we weren’t too stressed.

At a time when everything seems to be happening at once, the HRS team stepped in and were just outstanding. From the first visit to assess the move into storage, Gareth was clear that nothing was too much trouble and instilled confidence that the team, the materials and the vans/ storage was of the highest calibre.
The team arrived, protecting flooring, doors and surfaces and packed up the entire house over a Bank Holiday Monday, I didn't even need to be there!
7 months later, everything was delivered back to my new property in a single day. everything was put in the room requested and not a single breakage or damage to any item.
The team (of 6) were easy company, professional but comfortable to be around. The communication throughout was very clear.
The full house pack up, move into storage and move back was so easy and stress free from beginning to end.

We used Hollins Removals and Storage on Monday 18th May to move large items of furniture from the 1st and 2nd floor of my Mother's townhouse in Nantwich. The initial engagement with Hollins was great - they quickly worked out the mechanics of the job (and this included a large sofa being safely moved out of a first floor window).
With ridiculous efficiency, they emptied the required items in just 26 minutes (including moving the vehicles for a neighbour half way through) - and having wisely brought two separate vans, they completed both drop offs at their destinations in Wychwood and Haslington in no time at all.
All items were covered and protected - I cannot recommend this business highly enough, and if I could give them 10 stars here then I would. Well done guys!!!
