We are Homemade Homes the experienced property sales team within Accent Housing. Homemade Homes by Accent is a brand name for the sale of homes owned by Accent Housing Limited and Accent Homemade Limited.
We specialise in Shared Ownership, another way to buy your home. You buy a percentage and pay rent on the rest. We own just part of it – but you’re living there, you decorate it and decide when to sell.
Buying a percentage means a smaller deposit and a smaller mortgage. It’s a sooner first step on the ladder for lots of people. Usually, you can carry on buying further shares to own it 100%.
Buying a share means you need a lower mortgage and deposit than purchasing a property outright. This makes it a cost-effective way to own your own home and ideal for first-time buyers. Shared Ownership usually works out less per month than renting privately.
We want to be ‘with you for your journey’, whether that is helping you to take the first step onto the housing ladder or helping you search for a new home, we will be right there with you.
We have Shared Ownership homes across the country, from Surrey to Yorkshire and have helped hundreds of people fulfil their home ownership ambitions. We offer new and resale Shared Ownership homes as well as helping our current customers buy more of their home or sell it when they want to move on.

Was an easy process, every step was explained and the support was excellent.
After finding a house I wanted to buy and contacting Homemade homes. I was given a lovely lady who talked me through the process and kept me updated.

Lucy has been amazing! Can’t recommend enough- she has been so patient and understanding with us and has explained every stage so perfectly we never felt out the loop or lost at all. We dealt mostly with Charlotte and Ashley. They were both incredible patient and understanding with us from the start when we had a hundred questions for them and was suffering with anxiety throughout the process they was always available at the end of an email to calm our nerves and provide answers to any questions we had.
No question was ever regarded as silly and an answer was always given. They was always available at the end of the phone or an email. Any queries where answered quickly and all relevant paperwork was always provided to us when we enquired.
I could not recommend the team enough.

Charlotte has been incredible! The whole process she has kept me informed! There was an initial issue with the amount of share to be purchased, but it was resolved quickly and Charlotte worked so hard to complete everything for me!

I'm in the process and just waiting to veiw the property but Bethany from metro finance and Lucy Woods have been excellent in answering any questions and making sure I'm up to date and been prompt in emailing. They have definitely put my nerves at ease and made it more simpler for me.
