Walked in for possibility of doors and windows. Ran out..did not appear to be in the slightest bit interested in our business. No interest in photo of door, of our thoughts, no interest...end of.

Since writing this, both member of staff and CEO have rung us and couldn't have been more apologetic. Any colour is now available and happy to give us good quote. We appreciate this very much

Very happy with the installation of our doors and windows this past week. Ryan and Costa were great and worked conscientiously, professionally, were courteous and friendly. Good support from Harry and Malcolm to ensure the job was finished on time.
From booking the initial appointment right through to completion we were impressed with Horizon and would highly recommend.

I would highly recommend Horizon. They did an excellent job from start to finish. Seamus and Ciaran are lovely lads and very professional and knowledgeable. I had a French door removed and replaced with a window, and the workmanship was top-class. They cleaned up thoroughly each day and made sure I was happy at every stage of the process.

It's so hard to find reliable companies nowadays to carry out any kind of work in the home. Obviously the replacement of windows and doors would be something I needed to be very careful when choosing a company to carry out such work

Having chose horizon to carry out this work at my home, I can honestly say I am extremely pleased, not only with the work, but the fact that they came to me some weeks later, to make sure I was satisfied.

Unacceptable Behaviour by Company Driver – No Response from Horizon Windows

On June 2nd, 2025, at around 2:15 PM, I had a very upsetting experience with a Horizon Windows van driver in the Ongar area (Dublin 15). I was driving responsibly within the 50 km/h speed limit on a road with multiple speed humps, slowing down as required for safety.

Despite this, the van behind me began behaving aggressively — tailgating closely and then dangerously overtaking me while still in the hump zone. The driver made repeated rude hand gestures and shouted abusive language from the window. I was shocked by how hostile and unprofessional his behaviour was, especially while operating a clearly marked company vehicle.

I later approached the driver calmly to understand what had caused such aggression. Unfortunately, his response was rude and disrespectful, with no regard for road rules or basic decency.

I reported this incident directly to Horizon Windows through their official contact channels. However, I have received no response or acknowledgment to date, which is very disappointing. A company’s public image is reflected by how its employees behave, and ignoring serious complaints like this raises serious concerns.

I hope Horizon Windows takes appropriate action to ensure its employees behave responsibly and respectfully while representing the company in public.

I wrote to them 2 months ago asking about a service (secondary glazing) which was described in a blog post of theirs 3 months before. Talked on the phone, made an appointment for them to visit in person. No show. When I followed up as they didn’t, I was told the person meant to visit was sick. No problem, that happens. I made another appointment. No show with no explanation again. When I emailed recently, I was told there was no interest in the service I’d been inquiring about for 2 months. The no shows with no explanation were pretty poor.

I recently had a new front door fitted to my home here in Drogheda. I couldn't be more pleased as the new door has transformed my house. It is stylish elegant. My dealings with Horizon were incredibly helpful and professional throughout and this professionalism was my determining factor in choosing to go with Horizon. I wish to acknowledge in particular the people I had direct dealings with, they are, Lesley, Peter and Dave the Man who fitted the door. Thank you very much Horizon.

We just got our new internal bifold french doors installed today.
Joe arrived at the appointed time, work was carried out to the highest of standards. Everything was left immaculate upon departure.
The doors and the workmanship have matched indeed exceeded my expectations. Would highly recommend Horizons Windows.
