Alex and the team came on day one to pack up our 5-bed house and garage: quick tour to evaluate / check and 5 min later, keys handed over, off they went packing the house into boxes. By 3pm it was all done which was impressive. Day 2 was also as seamless and impressive: they loaded their vans, drive all the way to our new place late morning and by 4pm all was unloaded and that was on a hot day too ! Needless to say, all the goods we unpacked were all in very good order upon unpacking. Also, very impressed they came later on to pickup all the empty cardboard boxes to dispose / recycle so we didn't have to. Finally, and most importantly, the team was absolutely lovely and friendly during those 2 days . I cannot recommend them enough for your move ! Thanks again

We used Houghton Move in February this year. So accommodating, even rearranging other moves to fit us in, and the packing service was such good value for money and worth every penny! On the day the team worked tirelessly to get us out of our old property and in to our new one, we had a lot of stuff but nothing was too much trouble! Would recommend them to anyone!

We used Houghton Move Removals a couple of weeks ago to move house. From the outset they were personable and professional, undertaking a zoom call to provide a quote for the move. The team arrived early in the morning and were friendly, efficient and extremely diligent by ensuring that goods such as mattresses, sofas and TV’s were all protected during the move. The team ensured that we were out of our house before the time specified which was a relief. A first class service from first call right through to moving day! Competitively priced and great service. Despite a few challenges on moving day Alec and his team were superb and took everything in their stride. A stressful couple of days for us, made much easier by guys who just dealt with everything from packing to moving everything and getting us set up in our new house. We couldn’t recommend Houghton moves enough and if we move again (hopefully not!) we would certainly use them again!
