HRV always provides a first rate service
We downsized to a lovely penthouse flat in 2016, where the front rooms face a very busy main road. Our loft space is full of equipment installed by the developer, Berkeley Homes, to provide Comfort Cooling, who also fitted air filtration units in every room, HRV's servicing is vital in regularly replacing the filthy air filters in our loft space as well as cleaning and checking the operation of the clean air filters in each room.
Very happy with the service
The engineer arrived a little later than expected, but he was courteous, professional and knowledgeable. He checked the settings I had trouble with and identified the issue. Very happy with the service.

Excellent service throughout. The Customer Service Manager was very knowledgeable & took the time to understand my requirements & answer my queries. The company kept me updated & every stage was well communicated. The engineer was very courtesteous, friendly & knowledgeable. He did a great job removing the old system & installing the new system with no mess.

Great service, poor back office
Hard sell up front with multiple follow-ups to initial enquiry from several employees so no clarity in communication.
Service engineer arrived on time, was very courteous and thorough taking time to explain what he was doing. Promised a report later that day which I had not received 5 days later despite several requests for a performance review. I ended up chasing and again got several responses from different personnel before the actual report. One included a promotion with a link to explain how to save money on subsequent services - but the link did not work.
In summary excellent service at the front end, back office muddled and needs attention.
Overall a very good service
It was a long process, but my ventilation unit was replaced after multiple visits.
I had to take off a star because the engineer working on my unit forgot to follow through and call me back a couple of times, so after long waits, I had to chase up the main office, but they were very professional and looked to get me back on track asap.
It was dragged out a bit, but I am satisfied with the end result.

My MVHR unit became noisy so I arranged HRV group engineer for a servicing. The servicing itself went ok and the engineer told me the motor bearing is worn and (the motor) needs replacement.
After waiting for a repair quote for one week, they phone and told me they've contacted Nuaire the manufacturer and they are unable to provide spare parts as the unite is obsolete. The only option is to replace the entire MVHR unit, which costs £1500+ plus labour.
Long story short, I managed to replace the bearing myself, costing ~£20 plus my time.
While I don't expect HRV engineers to offer bearing replacement, I feel disappointed about HRV group is that being a 'ventilation specialist' you can't conduct online search for a replacement motor, which only took me hours to identify one exact model available on ebay, or another compatible model from pole star! I would encourage you to improve your repair service by looking beyond just original manufacturer, and be customer obsessed.
