Messed around for delivery
Simple to place the order online, I placed my order late on a Wednesday evening (with a view to having the materials for the weekend as this was for a DIY job). The order email said I would be contacted within 1 working day to arrange delivery, I heard nothing the day after and put this down to the fact I placed the order late on the day before. The next day came and still no contact, so I called the branch and was told that my order should have been delivered that day but they didn’t know what had happened. They asked me if the following Monday would be ok, when I asked if that was the earliest slot they said that they could try for the Saturday but it was hard with them only being open for 4 hours. In my opinion if you’ve been messed around the day before then it should be rectified as soon as possible. No delivery on Saturday, and then on the following Monday the materials still hadn’t arrived by the late afternoon, so I phoned to cancel it as at this point in the day I had no time to barrow the material through and was in work the rest of the week so would have had to leave it outside my house. The only reason why I haven’t left one star is because the person who cancelled my order over the phone was very helpful and understanding and cancelled it despite my order being one stop away. The refund entered my account soon after.

Ordered on line. All quite straight forward.
One item was out of stock but I was contacted immediately for a suitable alternative at the same price.

Just received the loam and topsoil delivery. Looks like great quality. Communication regarding delivery was excellent and prices are very competitive. The delivery person was professional, friendly and placed the pallet exactly where I wanted.

I wanted to share a really positive experience with Huws Gray at the Cambridge (Nuffield Road) branch.We recently had an issue with an EPDM rubber membrane order (Order L1E37813) where there was a discrepancy in the delivered length. When I went into the Nuffield Road store to explain the situation, the branch manager, Mark, was brilliant. He listened to the issue, checked the order details, and resolved it immediately by cutting and supplying the correct 6-metre length without any hassle. Mistakes can happen with yard cuts on large orders, but what matters most is how a company handles them when you talk to them. Mark and the team at Nuffield Road showed excellent, fair customer service and took care of everything right away.Highly recommended for their prompt help and great support!

Cannot fault the delivery service
Cannot fault the delivery service, ordered AM & delivered PM same day. I ordered a bulk bag of loam topsoil to mix with grass seed for my lawn unfortunately it also contained stones, plastics, a lot of rotting twigs & a few shards of glass.
