I’ve used Hygglo twice now and both experiences have been excellent. The whole process is really straightforward, from finding what you need to arranging collection and return. Everything worked exactly as it should, with no hassle at all.

It’s such a smart idea as well, being able to rent items locally instead of buying something you might only use once. Both times the items were just as described and the communication was smooth and reliable.

I’ll definitely be using Hygglo again. It’s a really convenient and well run service.

Hygglo är i grunden en bra plattform. Det är enkelt att hyra ut och själva konceptet är bra. Jag har haft positiva erfarenheter.

Tyvärr förstörs helhetsintrycket av deras samarbetspartner, ett så kallat försäkringsbolag, Omocom. När min maskin gick sönder under en uthyrning möttes jag av orimliga krav och en tydlig ovilja att ersätta skadan. Att kräva att jag personligen skulle ha varit på plats hos kunden för att bevittna händelsen är fullständigt verklighetsfrånvänt.

På grund av detta har jag valt att ta bort samtliga mina annonser från Hygglo. Jag kommer inte att lägga upp något igen förrän de byter försäkringsbolag till en aktör som faktiskt är rättvis och står bakom sina åtaganden när det verkligen gäller.

Om du ändå väljer att hyra ut via Hygglo bör du utgå från att din produkt i praktiken inte är försäkrad när något faktiskt händer. Det är en risk som varje uthyrare bör vara fullt medveten om innan de lämnar ut sina saker.

Veldig seriøst og profesjonelle tjenester. Fikk forsikringssak etter skade på utleid utstyr som løste seg enkelt og raskt. Sterkt anbefalt både som utleier og leietaker!

I've been using Hygglo for a few years now to rent out machines and other equipment that we don't use often but also don't want to sell. I have also rented items through Hygglo myself.

I've always had positive experiences, both with the app and with the people I've interacted with. I expect that it's thanks to the rigorous verification process that I have yet to come across anyone who was careless or on the take.

It sounds like a good idea, but the quantity of documentation they ask is extremely exaggerated, they even ask for photos of me using an equipment to prove I know how to use it? It was extremely ridiculous. And after feeling like my privacy was violated and giving that excessive amount of documentation , I was still unable to use it. Won’t recommend it . 0 stars

worst website ever experienced. Confirms my driving license and bank statement but rejects my instagram and LinkedIn which are both active. That is terrible but what is even worse, you can't verify your account in your own time at anytime, ONLY after you give them your rental money with a confirmed booking so they they get your money then reject your instagram so u can't rent anything, complete madness

Hyr ut takbox och diverse andra saker som jag inte använder speciellt ofta. Väldigt smidigt i appen och kommunikation går alltid enkelt.
Haft 2 mindre skador som enkelt gått på försäkring, saker jag kunnat fixa själv men fick ersättning för reservdelarna.

I've been renting from and to people on fatllama for 8 years. Hygglo comes and bloody buys it and they're asking for my PAYSLIP like a bloody fed so I can continue with my booking. I send it and they reject it because it is "older than three months" mind you it flipping says 27th of FEBRUARY 2026. then the email says "oh we can see there's a mix up. Since you're here prove your address too" I have a shoot and this dumb ass app with their nonsense team that can't do their job has made multiple people miss their bookings. Honestly I'm going to leave a bad review everywhere possible.

Also their admin fees are INSANE.

I have rented out equipment through Hygglo more than 300 times, and overall the experience has been very positive.

Most rentals run smoothly, but what really matters is how a platform handles situations when something unexpected happens. I recently had a case where an item was not returned. Hygglo’s support team responded quickly, kept communication clear throughout the process, and helped move the compensation claim forward in a professional way.

Over the years I’ve consistently experienced:
• Fast responses from support
• Clear communication during cases
• A platform that makes renting equipment straightforward
• Helpful guidance when problems occur

No platform can completely prevent difficult situations, but in my experience Hygglo has handled them responsibly and fairly. That gives confidence to continue renting out valuable equipment through their service.

My loaned equipment was stolen while I was travelling on a train, despite it being kept directly next to me at all times. The company advertises that items are insured, yet they are now attempting to hold me personally liable for the full cost, claiming “negligence.”
The item was not left unattended or unsecured — it was taken from beside me. I reported the theft promptly, yet I have since received over 20 emails requesting repeated and varying pieces of information. It feels less like a genuine claims process and more like an attempt to avoid honouring the insurance coverage stated on their website.
This has been an extremely frustrating experience and, in my view, a very questionable way to handle a legitimate theft claim.

Skulle hyra lätt lastbil för en transport. Hittade en uthyrare och kom överens som ett pris. När jag skulle betala var priset plötsligt ~500 högre. När jag påpekade det skyllde han på Hygglos avgifter. Kontaktade då Hygglo direkt och fick veta att de inte hade dylika "avgifter". Efter ytterligare tjafs avbröt han dealen. Tråkigt att behöva sätta kasst betyg på Hygglo men jag kunde inte sätta betyg på uthyraren då han avbröt.

Det känns tryggt att hyra ut mina saker på det här sättet. Jag vet vem det är som har dem och jag får betalt. Grejerna är försäkrade av ett försäkringsbolag som ersätter skador (har erfarenhet av det). Har hyrt ut över 100 gånger och det har alltid fungerat bra.

Funkar bra och enkelt. Jag hyr ut mest och har bara haft positiva erfarenheter av Hygglo. Behövt utnyttja försäkringen en gång och det gick snabbt och smidigt. Även Hygglos kontroll av hyrestagarna har varit bra. Hade en förfrågan som blev nekad på grund av att hyrestagaren hade betalningsanmärkningar och skulder hos kronofogden.

En sak man skulle kunna förbättra är att man skulle kunna sätta tid i bokningen inte bara dagar. Vissa saker jag hyr ut behöver man bara några timmar och andra saker är typiska fest-artiklar som man hämtar på eftermiddagen och lämnar tillbaka dagen efter. Då är det otydligt vad som gäller efter som man bara kan välja hela dagar i bokningen. Många som frågar.

Mitt förslag är att minimum-hyran är 24 timmar. Då är det lättare att planera och enklare för hyrestagaren utan att behöva fråga var som gäller.

Går inte använda sig av sidan. Och tar en hutlös summa för uthyrare. Snor åt sig en massa pengar i avgifter för den som hyr, utan att göra något själva!

Super nöjd kund både som uthyrare och hyrestagare. Allt funkar perfekt. Jag fick tillbaka en trasig dammsugare som jag hyrde ut . Kontaktade Hygglo, fick direkt hjälp med allt ochfick ersättning snabbt på försäljningen. Rekommenderar verkligen varmt.

Hygglo is a great app. To manage the rentals and offers great flexibility and secure way to communicate. Provides good and timely assistance with the insurance claims when any damage occurs during the rental.
